Staff was great but we are extremely disappointed in the additional $20.00 fee to lock in our site. Its absolutely ridiculous. The reason for reserving a year in advance is exactly that, to hold that site for our stay. KOAs already charge plenty for the stay & charge for every activity on top of it. There is no reason to keep robbing customers of more money. Thank you for making it harder on us.

We have been coming here to stay for over 20 years. I have to say the value just isn’t there anymore. The cost of a basic site with electrical and water is too high in my opinion. With little to no improvements over the years I wonder where the money goes. The staff however are fabulous. Always welcoming and working hard to make the stay enjoyable.

The place was clean, but unlike most KOAs, at this one has the campsites were stacked too close to each other. We camp to be outdoors, not in a parking lot.

I've stayed there multiple times. It's very kid friendly and I will certainly be back. I would like to see showers a little bit further away from the center of the campground. I always stay in one of the back sites for a quieter time, but it's a long walk for myself and family to use the shower or bathroom.

Free WiFi was very slow, then went out completely for a couple of days. 30 amp breaker at site 100 went on and off during the night, then was off completely in the morning. I switched over to 50 amps for power and reported it to the office.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. The week after the memorial day weekend left the grounds to us, one other rv and a tent camper. Facilities are clean and well maintained.

First time there. We talked to many of the employees, from the outside employees to the people inside. They all get two thumbs up, they treated us like we were the only people around.

We really enjoy staying at the KOA because there is lots to do there. If you’re bored it’s your own fault. The workers were really nice to me when I was in signing in and also booking for next year

Everyone was very polite and helpful. The kids love all the activities and the crafts this year were an added bonus (although we had some disappointed little ones when you ran out of slime ingredients)

Used to love attending the koa every year. We have been coming for 10+ years. But I believe next year will be the final straw. The prices have increased to 100 bucks a night which is crazy. And the fact I have to pay to reserve the same sight I have been in for many years is also crazy. Price increases with no increase in actives or updates to the park. Sad to say this park is going down hill.

I like the Hayward KOA, enjoy the area, lots of things for the kids. Nice bike trails. Friendly staff. I am not happy that a save your space charge is being added. I have been coming to this location for at least 20 years and there wasn't a charge. Prices have been increasing way more than inflation. Makes it harder to make the decision to come back.

Sites to close together. No privacy. Wifi was out and was never told if it was back up. I did ask a few times. Staff was very friendly.

We enjoy the location, however In our stage in life with no young children, the price is extremely high considering we don’t use majority of the amenities offered. It would be nice to have option to go back to wristbands to use to drive price back down for those who don’t need it.

Too many ATV machines. They are driven around the camp sites. Trailers and machines are squeezed between campers. Felt like I was at a racetrack.

Relaxing and so much for the youth to do, even though we did have any kids with us… just hearing their laughter. Just wish there were closer restrooms and shower houses.

This is a really nice KOA lots of things for the kids to do and very clean Staff are all very courteous and kind Sites are really close could not use the firepit it was so close to the camper we felt it was not safe During our stay we had lots of kids and adults constantly walk or ride bikes through our site or the site next to us causing our dogs to bark alot.

It was great, all the staff are friendly, professional, and thoughtful in all things! We had the best time! It's kind of a given though, in that you know you're in good hands at Hayward KOA! They're the best in business, they're the best people, they are the golden standard of camping! Keep up the great work Hayward KOA!

Stay is great! I wish KOA would spend a little and get great internet service. Would love to stay longer and work from campsite but cannot I t because of weak internet.

I told the host how long my camper was and I get there and first of all it was impossible to get in the site as there were to many trees to allow me to get in ,so I had to back in thru another site and had to perfectly center in in the site as it was the same length as my camper no room for my truck. Thank god for the other campers that helped me back it in.

Stayed here the last weekend they were open so limited activities. The limited activities was not a big deal as we stayed here but went north to Bayfield for apple festival anyway. This was a lot cheaper option than a hotel. Would stay here again during peak season as well. Sites are well shaded

We were only 1 of 3 campers in the whole campground so it is hard to rate it to much but our time there was really good. The guy that check us in looked to find us a dry spot as they had just had a heavy rains and some areas remained wet.

Nice Park, overpriced when all activities are closed for the season. Offer a discount after the pool, Water slide Restaurant etc close.

We always enjoy our stays at KOA's. Hayward is a lovely and clean camp ground. The Staff is very nice and engaging.

What a great stay! The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed everything there was to do! The kids enjoyed the pool and had a great time with all the activities of the weekend! The Olympics were a hit for sure and so family friendly! Good stay from start to finish. Our first stay and we'll be back!

This has to be one of the nicest KOA's ive stayed at for a while. They offer so many things for kids to do. The stuff and prompt and friendly. Lots of extra services offered. Dont miss smores on Friday nights and the outdoor movie. Travis has done an amazing job. Keep it up. We will definitely be back.
