Overall a nice clean place with very friendly staff. The lot sizes are very small. A slide out with an awning stretched over the next sits utility post. The fire pit is also very close to the camper space.

The staff was amazing! They wanted to ensure we had a great summer vacation and did everything to accommodate! The facilities were exactly what we were looking for! We will be back again next year!

We had an amazing time for the 3rd year in a row. We tried a new camping spot and loved it! It is so nice that everyone is so respectful of the quiet time in the evenings. My grandkids loved the activities that were provided. See you again next year!

only change I would recommend is not to charge for water slide: other then that, we had a great time and would return--your Thursday music was outstanding.

It was good, the grandkids loved the swimming pool and all of the activities, only thing we didn’t care fire was at our site and we had site 63 was the sewer tank, a couple times the kids asked what’s that smell!!! Other then that it was a very good and clean KOA.

Our first site was too small for our unit, the staff came to the rescue and we ended up in a beautiful spot! The staff were so friendly and you definitely have to float down the river with their tubing outfit!

We love Hayward KOA. I have been going here since I was very young. Just like everything else it's becoming a little more expensive to stay. I hope the cost doesn't rise again or our family won't be able to come like we have been.

We enjoyed our stay! The campground is very well maintained and clean!! The office hours are generous and appreciated. The campground is large. The sites are pretty narrow for larger rigs. It would have been great to be able to text or call to have firewood, ice, maybe even pizza delivered to our site.

Great location just outside Hayward, under a towering pine canopy. On-site take-out café, The Red Pine, has a reasonably-priced menu of sandwiches, pizzas, and breakfast foods. LOTS for the kids to do. Water slide and (pedal) go-carts are extra: paid $12 per kid for all-day passes to the slide, + $8 for the 3 to share a 1-seat go-cart for an hour, which was long enough for them. Had a great stay!

Arrived on a Saturday was there for an hr and left due to no privacy. Over crowded Went to cancel and was told after arrival. No refunds on anything said I didn’t want 1st 2 nights back but 48 hr cancellation should give me nights 3 and 4 back and they said that’s not how there cancelllation policy works. Then asked for a manager and was told there were none onsite

Plenty of activities and things to do, however did feel like the sites are cramped and much smaller than what we are used to when camping at other KOAs.

The staff was excellent in every way from delivering our wood to our campsite to making sure we had everything that we needed at our vacation as well. I would love to come back and camp again soon.

The staff are outstanding. Informative, friendly and always willing to help. The campground provides so many amenities and fun activities. Facilities are well taken care of and always clean.

We come yearly and must say this stay we were very disappointed. The first night the volleyball courts were closed for a movie and the park. The 2nd night there was light rain so pool, arcade amd bikes were all closed. For the cost to stay and to have most of the Amentities closed was very disappointing. The staff besides a couple were very on edge and cranky towards the kids and adults.

We stayed here for my sister-in-law's wedding. The showers were kept pretty clean and so were the bathrooms. The only things I didn't like were that parents didn't supervise their children on the Jumping Pillow and also how close the sites are. But, all in all, I would go again!

The men's bathroom-shower room needs maintenance. The shower drains didn't drain properly causing a backup in the shower area, and the ceiling tile frames needed to be repainted or replaced.

They need to do some work on the roads it rained while we were there and the dirt roads had huge puddles for a couple days. Dome of the sites also in water including site 100.

We’ve been going to Hayward KOA the past few summers, it’s been our new family tradition. So many fun things for the kids to do. Amazing and helpful staff that go above and beyond to make sure you have a great visit. They keep it clean and organized. 4 nights is never enough we would stay there all summer if we could!

They did offer activities for families. We felt like we were crammed in and had no grass. It wad tall pine trees and a parking slot.The site did not have gravel but packed down sand. The road itself had little rock so when it rained their were puddles of mud and sand to walk and drive around. Due to the amount of campers the pool looked to be at its occupancy limit. It seemed to packed in for us.

All of the workers were so friendly all of the time. Very unusual for us to have such friendly people where we camp.

Went with a friend family. Went tubing, the first 10 mins there is a tree that’s down the width of the river. That was tricky. When we came back the kidos enjoyed the bounce pillow and pool. The glow dance party was fun. Thanks for the stay the ice cream is delicious

Check in was fabulous, cabin already had the a/c on, it was super hot outside, unpacked and then sat on the porch swing... it had an enormous creek, I love a porch swing. Asked the office to send some WD40, and noone came either of my 2 day stay so i wentvto walmart and bought my own and fixd it myself. Pool area was amazing, there were lots of other activities for all ages. Bathrooms were midern and clean! Would definitely return some day.

We enjoyed our time at the KOA. The campground was very quiet, although we were on the back row and not near a lot of the activities. The bathrooms were pretty clean. The showers were hot and had good water pressure. We did rent tubes, they took us to the beginning and picked us up at the end. Being a holiday weekend it was an overall nice stay.

This is one of our favorite KOA's. They are in the works to do some upgrades with plans to put in a splash pad. You can go tubing down the river (highly recommend). There is a pool, which does tend to get a little over packed. On site pizza and ice cream which is yummy. Always clean & family friendly. Lots to do on the area.
