Besides the campers to the left of us not obeying quiet hour past 11 pm with their drinking and being loud; it was a very nice get away for us. Enjoyed the pool and activities!

Great location, loved the activities planned, and all the fun things to do on-site (swimming pool, golf, waterside, etc). Our cabin was in a perfect location and had all we needed. We would love to come back again!

Stay was fantastic! Every single staff member we encounter was very friendly, helpful and accommodating to everything we needed/asked. The place was very clean and well maintained! Would definitely stay again!

I wish the wagon ride was more than just Saturday. It is a hilight for the kids. We love the crafts and activities for kids on the weekend. It is non stop fun for them. We hope you bring back entertainment like Mr. Fun and the fire dancing. The kids also loved Hula hooping contests and limbo.

We’ve been staying here for 9 years. The staff are pleasant and the facilities are very clean. There are fun activities for the kids. What we didn’t like, and has changed under new ownership are the prices. My one bedroom cabin this year was $40 MORE than the price of my two bedroom cabin last year. We came from Minneapolis to Hayward specifically to stay at this KOA! We loved all the family-focused amenities and our kids had a total blast. The bouncing pillow and mini golf were their favorites, but us adults loved the deluxe cabin and friendly staff the most! Thanks for a fun and relaxing weekend!

The new management is very critical and harsh to children. We have been staying at this KOA for years and do not plan to return next year.

The stay was absolutely fantastic! A very very beautiful place with cute little cabins! Perfect place to take your kids as they have a wide range of activities! 10/10 would camp here again!

This was my first experience at a KOA and OMG it was amazing. I don't have kids but it is a fairy tale land for families. And even without kids it is very clean and abundant with staff. I will definitely be staying here again.

Always a very nice campgrounds with easy access to the ORV trails. Nice showers and bathroom, amazing food on site, plenty for everyone to do.

We love Hayward KOA, but this time especially we were super impressed with the amount of activities there are available now! Nikki was super sweet, helpful, and accommodating. All the employees were friendly and the facilities were kept clean, even on a very busy weekend. We definitely recommend!

I’ve been coming to Hayward KOA on and off for over 20 years. I’ve always loved all the activities for the kids and they always have tons of fun. The only problem I have is with the price of some things; ice cream for one. I got three small and I mean small WEIGHED cups of ice cream from the Red Pine and it cost me over $16… I wouldn’t mind paying that amount if they were reasonable amount

We had a fabulous time this past weekend at the Hayward KOA. The facility was clean, the staff was friendly and beyond helpful, and there were so many fun activities for my kids to do. We were greeted by numerous staff members every time we entered a common area such as the store or cafe and we just felt so welcomed by everyone. We are already looking at booking a few more trips this summer!

Enjoyed our stay very much, we aways did. When the grandkids were younger we always came to the KOA in Hayward at least 3-4 times a summer or more. Had one of my grandchildren this time. Thanks again. The last time we were there was this owner he was a jerk, he was from Ca. this was back in the early 2000 ???

We had to leave early due a family retragedy, but loved our stay. We wish the cabin had a large fort pan. Not a small one(s), but made it work, will be back.

Cleanliness in bathrooms was horrible this visit. Many sites lost power during stay with no compensation or reduced rate for stay. No bathrooms, showers, or lights in paths from sun 2 pm till mon morning. Why was no one fixing power Sunday? Pricing on tubing up from 12 to 17/ride? Crazy hike in price. Needed reservations, but not communicated to campers. We will try 1 more yr visit

Disappointed pool is drained. Prior mgmt kept open thru this weekend given how busy. price increase for rental is big. Choose site fee is BS when are just re-reserving the same site. Lame that not only have prices gone up the major amenities are closed @ that time: slide ,pool, ice cream shop. Quieter this year many familiar campers groups abscent. Will consider other options as well.

Stayed in a Kamping Lodge. The floor was clearly NOT swept when we arrived despite instructions upon check-out that all floors need to be swept. Sand and small stones in several places...and not just under the beds. There used to be a nice little sign under the beds saying to the effect of "Yes - we've even cleaned under here!" Not this year, however. This welcome was very disappointing.

We were really disappointed that the pool was closed and gross. There were no activities for the kids at all this weekend. The bathrooms were stinky, and the showers were so dark you could hardly see if you were clean. I've been coming to Hayward KOA since I was a child, and this was the worst stay we've ever had. Considering finding another place for our family reunions.

Super glad we rented cabins rather than staying in our tents when it ended up being so warm. It was nice to have the waterside open the full weekend and the end of season Halloween activities were a hit with our kiddos!

Friendly staff, nice and clean campground and awesome for kids!! Nice cabins, will say I just wish it felt a little cleaner in the cabin itself we had someone else’s used soap bar in the shower, the counter and sink were dirty. Otherwise such a fun and memorable trip we will stay again!

What a great stay! The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed everything there was to do! The kids enjoyed the pool and had a great time with all the activities of the weekend! The Olympics were a hit for sure and so family friendly! Good stay from start to finish. Our first stay and we'll be back!

This has to be one of the nicest KOA's ive stayed at for a while. They offer so many things for kids to do. The stuff and prompt and friendly. Lots of extra services offered. Dont miss smores on Friday nights and the outdoor movie. Travis has done an amazing job. Keep it up. We will definitely be back.
