Everyone at the campground was friendly and helpful!! We loved the deluxe cabin! Wish it would’ve been more clear that we need to bring our own sheets and towels. We’ve stayed at the same type of cabin at another KOA where they were provided so didn’t realize and had to run and get some from local store. The bikes to rent were awesome for the kids! Loved the pool and water slide!!!

We tried something different this year. We stayed Sunday through Wednesday. The weather was terrible, humidity was 95%. Glad to have stayed in a cabin with AC. The kids were a little bored, but thank you for having a pool. It was hard to start a fire , cuz of the high humidity and no breeze. The campground was very quiet during the week. We're used to the themed weekends.

Please make the coffee at the restaurant stronger. It was like brown water. The staff are very friendly. Updates needed in the women’s bathrooms.

The staff and campground were very nice, lots to do. The only thing that really needs improvement is the bunk bed mattresses. They were really bad. I would try a KOA again,

We just got back from a long weekend at the Hayward KOA. We rented a Deluxe Cabin with my family of 5. We had everything we needed inside the cabin. The Queen mattress could use an upgrade but everything was clean. So many fun activities planned for the kids all weekend! The staff was so friendly and helpful. We got pizza and other stuff at the Cafe, very good. Highly recommend this campground!

Our 16th year coming here and first time in a delux cabin. We will definitely do it again! The staff continues to be friendly and helpful, and the grounds are clean and continually improving. My one complaint is that the camp store closed at 5 on two of the days we were there, which limited our ability to participate in some of the activities.

We were at Site #184. When walking out the door there was a tree in the middle that needs to go away. Two stumps low to the ground right by it that two of us tripped on. At the cabana several burners were not working. A microwave would be helpful in the cabana to pop popcorn. Otherwise, it was a great stay like normal.

The KOA was very kid friendly and had great staff working throughout our stay. We will definitely be coming back!

I stayed at the KOA in Hayward with my three littles and it was a great experience!! Lots of fun stuff to do for kids/toddler and amazing and kind staff. Will definitely stay in the future!

Had a great time. The staff is very friendly. Love working with Glenda she is very helpful. Our only complaint would be the water slide. This is 2 years in a row that it was not staffed. I understand today’s word force but maybe they need to try to find more dependable people. Kids were very disappointed

Now bringing the next generation of children to Hayward KOA. It was just as fun as their parents remembered! Coming in Sunday, there weren't any of the fun extras like wagon rides, crafts, etc, BUT there weren't even half the folks of a weekend, so I will take it! Cabin and tent area were spotless. Everything was just as we knew it from 20 years ago. Great time.

As always, we love our time away at Hayward KOA. It is peaceful, comfortable, friendly and a most delightful place to go to get away from the rest of the world. My kids enjoy roaming the campground and I feel safe to let them. We will be back next summer for our yearly visit. At least once, but maybe more than that. See you next year.

like the campground and the amenities. For me it's an issue of 'value'. We cabin, and the price for what we get leave a lot to be desired. Over $200 for a cabin w/a below average bed is over-priced

It was our second year coming. It was so much fun! Only complaint was our cabin smelled of really really strong cleaning supply. We aired out the cabin for a good 1-2 hours before letting our baby and toddler in there. Only other recommendation is to have more events on weeknights! The sensory night was awesome for our toddler!!

Everything was wonderful as always. Your camp grounds is my favorite place to stay. Only suggestion I would make, would be not letting people play football in the pool. When we where there people where playing football in the shallow end of the pool. They where kind of taking over all area of the pool. It make it difficult to swim with my young grandson.

Lots of things for kids to do!! Cabin was nice and fully functional for our visit. I wish the sites were bigger and more private, but that’s KOA’s. The big down fall was it was the worst mattress I’ve ever slept on. It squawked so loud, if you rolled over it woke up our 10 month old baby, every time. Overall it was a nice campground, we’d come back here.

Not necessarily OK with the “cabin” we rented. We realize that we are at a campground as we have done multiple times previous including KOA’s Found it odd that there was not the smallest of a TV

We were talking at a very quiet level at 11:07 pm and the night security began threatening us with the sheriff. They were extremely hostile and made the experience unpleasant.

We ended up getting cabin KL10 and was it ever nice! Any issue we may have had was immediately addressed. We hope to get this cabin again in our next stay!! Always a great time at the Hayward KOA!!

Stay was lots of fun . Everyone enjoyed. We did have an incident though. One of the workers approached there site and said rudely. Is this your kiddo to the father. Father was not happy. Tone of her voice must of set him off. Something about the volleyball net. So sorry that happened. It seemed that lady was watching the kids all the time.

Volleyball pit needs more sand, new net, 2 pits. Pool needs more chairs, umbrellas, 2 pools. Long time return customers should not have to pay $20 to guarantee the same site for the next year! That’s a money grab. If you improved the campground with that money at least we would get something out of the deal but there’s no improvement only more cabins $$. Ice cream too expensive. Amy Monson

Volleyball court in very poor shape. Net not tight, not enough sand in the court, they really need another court. Ice Cream house menu too expensive. They charge $20 to reserve your spot for the next year. They Charge $20 to arrive before checkin time even if the spot is vacant.

It was all around great time!! The one hiccup was our cabin said sleeps 8 but there was no mattress for the pull out couch. There was one bunk bed, two twin mattresses in the loft, and a queen bed in the room. That was enough to sleep 6. Had the pull out couch had a mattress we could have slept 8. We made it work by doubling up kids in the bunk bed.

Check in was fabulous, cabin already had the a/c on, it was super hot outside, unpacked and then sat on the porch swing... it had an enormous creek, I love a porch swing. Asked the office to send some WD40, and noone came either of my 2 day stay so i wentvto walmart and bought my own and fixd it myself. Pool area was amazing, there were lots of other activities for all ages. Bathrooms were midern and clean! Would definitely return some day.

We enjoyed our time at the KOA. The campground was very quiet, although we were on the back row and not near a lot of the activities. The bathrooms were pretty clean. The showers were hot and had good water pressure. We did rent tubes, they took us to the beginning and picked us up at the end. Being a holiday weekend it was an overall nice stay.

This is one of our favorite KOA's. They are in the works to do some upgrades with plans to put in a splash pad. You can go tubing down the river (highly recommend). There is a pool, which does tend to get a little over packed. On site pizza and ice cream which is yummy. Always clean & family friendly. Lots to do on the area.
