Stayed in a kamping kabin again, same one as last year. Floor is spongy by bathroom, said they would fix it last year, still the same... tubes were shut down again this year Tuesday and Wednesday after checking ahead three times before we arrived. Ahhhhh

The Hayward KOA was well maintained with friendly staff, beautiful grounds, and tons of entertainment for the kids. The 9ft deep pool and the water slide were great. We had a blast.

We enjoyed our stay in one of the deluxe cabins. Loved the amenities/activities for kids. The beds in the cabin were super squeaky. Also assumed a kitchenette meant there would be a small stove/oven but alas there was not. They should add that to the cabin descriptions. Would also be nice to have a full size sink since there is no sink in the bathroom. Overall enjoyed our stay.

The only complaint is that we really booked the stay for the river ride.and when we went to go apparently it was closed on tues and wed. which went to register on mond for it they just said register tommorrow when you go without even saying it wasnt open on tues. we could of went on monday if they would of said something . the kids were so dissapointed.

The campground was clean as were the shower buildings. We were lucky enough to have beautiful weather (70’s) so it was extra nice for camping. Cabin was very clean and well shaded. The only thing that I would have liked better was that the fire-ring was not in the back of the cabin. I can’t see people and meet them if I am in the back.

It would have been nice to more bathroom stalls in the men's bathroom. My husband mentioned the lines of men waiting to use the stall in the bathroom and that there wasn't enough of them. Also, we are potty-training our daughter and he was unable to help her use the restroom due to the lines or not having a stall open when needed. Otherwise, very good experience.

While, the amenities are great and most everyone is incredibly friendly, the cabins are in desperate need of updating. The mattresses were so bad, my kids had to double them up just to have a little bit of cushion to them. I know it’s expensive to run a campground but we could have gotten a higher end hotel room for the price we had to pay for the cabins.

All KOA employees were fantastic! Our lodge was clean and supplied with all the necessities. Comfortable beds. We booked for next year as we were leaving. Same cabin! We had a great time! Thank you!

Our family has stayed at the KOA for a few years as a family reunion weekend. We are never disappointed. The camp staff is amazing and the campground is always clean, safe and fun.

We loved our stay at the KOA in Hayward. From extremely friendly staff to super clean bathrooms and showers and everything in between we had a relaxing and fun time. Our family loved staying in the little cabins and enjoyed all of the activities especially the pool!

This is a great place to stay, lots to do and we go every year for a family outing. We love the place! The only thing that needs to improve is the stocking of the Sleeper unitls. Ours only had 3 spoons, and 4 forks and many pots and pans were missing. Also, the blinds were broken and falling apart. Please improve the upkeep of the sleeping cabins.

Took a camping group to the park. 35+. Mostly senior ladies. Tents, campers, cabins were used. Wonderful help from manager, Nanci. All the staff were wonderful to assist our group, put our group in same area, delivering wood, Informing of local interests. Not a negative comment from anyone in the group. Was asked to host this event here again.

We had a great time with our children, their spouses & grandkids! Lots to do, kept us all busy. We stayed in a cabin and loved it. Our family each were in campers. Went tubing and that was fun as well.

We had several families stay at Hayward KOA this past weekend. Everything was exceptional. The staff were friendly and entertaining. The campground was so well taken care of, the cabins, bathrooms were so clean. We utilized and had a blast with all of the weekend activities offered. The kids really enjoyed the bikes, pool and jumping pillow. We already booked for next year. Thank you KOA staff!!!

When everything is combined, it is non stop kid fun. The wagon ride, smores, crafts, games, swimming, and more. The kids never stop playing.

Clean, friendly & attentive staff. I would have liked a camping family rate for the big water slide. We couldn't justify trying for all 3 kids when we were sure one or two may not want to try it. It needs to be built in cost with access or priced more family friendly on choice to try it.

We go every summer and it's one of our families favorite place to go! I've gone every year since I was a kid and now I love seeing my kids enjoy Hayward KOA. We love it here!

I come to Hayward annually to ride MTN bikes and gravel, and just recently bought an EV. Hayward is short on reliable EV charging stations, and the closest supercharger is close to 140mi away. The staff were so gracious to let me charge my car and keep me from having to wait over 24+ hrs while charging on a household 120V plug! Even though I wasn't staying at the campground. I love people who continue to pay it forward!
