We have stayed here many times over the past 30+ years. This stay was short and late in the season . But as always very enjoyable.

Had a wonderful time staying for the Chequamegon bike festival. So many great activities for the kids, and the pasta dinner the night before the race was fantastic!

We have camped at this KOA bike race weekend since 1989. We love our corner of the campground. The pool. The kid neon light dance. We did not like the 6 Decon mouse traps left in our cabin with a dead mouse. Cabin was dirty and had a musty odor. My biggest concern was when I called to check our reservation. I was told that I did not have a cozy cabin and I DID!!! I paid for an empty cabin.

We had a wonderful day at the KOA this past weekend! We really enjoyed that they have a lot of activities for kids, including the pool being open, the dance party and movie night. It was a great stay!

We had a great time. The sleeping cabin was perfect for the not so perfect weather, the bathrooms were clean and the staff were really friendly! We really enjoyed the free entertainment and look forward to coming back soon!!

We stayed at KOA Hayward MTB race weekend! Our overall group had 5 sites and we had a wonderful stay. One thing that we all talked about was how warm and welcoming the KOA staff was at this location, you truly have great people! The bathrooms and especially the toilets were very clean, the showers and shower curtains were acceptable but could be powerwashed more often. See you next year! Thanks!

We have been staying here for years! This location has been a little run down prior to new management. It needs to be some repairs, updates, cleaned up, and Travis and McKenzie are the right team to do so! The future is very bright here, we are already looking at spring, summer, fall dates to book online! Great job to all the KOA staff!

Good we had a great time, thing where different this year from the last 2 years. We missed the Friday night s'more and having trick or treating Friday and Saturday night was a bit much, Saturday night is enough. Heater in the pool was fixed this year that was great. Miss the game room. I hope sometime they put a little money into the mini golf course.

Mattress in Deluxe Cabin is unacceptable. Go inside and just sit on the queen size mattress and you will understand the rating. Fridge is not working properly and defrosting. Unit was clean including bathroom. Window shades need replacing. For the price I expected a better experience.

All staff and employees were great. The heater didn’t work in my little cabin (#182). When staff came over to look at the problem, they found the knob was missing, but they were able to get it turned on. However when I came back later, turned the knob on, the heater rattled so loudly that i sounded like it was going to rattle apart!

Staff and activities were amazing. We enjoyed the community and the fun events. The low score was for the state of the cabin we stayed in. The cabin smelled like ammonia when we arrived. Determined it was mold growing in the air conditioner. The floor was very weak and part was repaired by tape. The floor was very soft in spots. The side of the cabin had many holes where animals live.

We had a wonderful time! All the staff was amazing and helpful, lots of fun activities for the kids! The only comment I have for improvements is the camp kitchen is definitely in need of some upgrades. One whole section didn’t work at all and the sinks would leak onto the floor causing stinky water buildup. Everything else was perfect!

VERY disappointed that the ice cream place was not open. VERY disappointed the game room was closed. Disappointed that the air hockey was gone. Disappointed the water slides were closed. So much missing for the same price. Our bathroom smelled of urine but it was the shower curtain and liner. Old and stunk bad. The futon is old and uncomfortable. The office had way less to shop for.

Our first time there. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The mattress was not the best. Crunching noise when you moved around. Staff were friendly and helpful. The pool warm and big. We would come back.

Disappointed about the water slide being closed. Pool was so cold kids couldn’t stand to use it but heat was turned on/ up the next day. Tried to get food at Timber wagon but was never open. Tried tubing but also not available only during weekend. Bathrooms were clean:)

We loved our deluxe cabin! The staff was helpful and polite, and the grounds and facilities were very clean. A few important things were broken (both pool gate locks, bedroom & bathroom locks in our cabin KL9). We were also disappointed that both the waterslide and the arcade were gone. We look forward to their replacements.

Our deluxe cabin had so many flies even in the refrigerator. There wasn’t a fly swatter. The floor was dirty like it wasn’t cleaned. Bathroom sink was dirty. We didn’t read the part where linens were not supplied so we showed up without any bedding:(. We also don’t understand why you couldn’t have a pet in the cabins because the floors are linoleum and no different then the other cabins

The floor in the "Delux" cabin was very dirty. The bottoms of our feet were black even after trying to wash the floor several times. The beds were terrible.

It was nice, for sure. A little misleading that all promo materials and the app still state there’s a water slide and arcade- our kids were very disappointed to find out that’s not the case. Bathroom near the pool- 1 soap dispenser was out our entire stay, none of the showers would turn on (the knobs seemed very broken), but no signage. Other showers were clean, nice to have. Family gathering. You were accommodating to put us all together, thank you! One thing that bothered me was the very dirty garbage can in the woman’s bathroom! Needs to either be cleaned or replaced! Also the showers had debris in the corners that should be cleaned out.

The "delux" cabin was not delux at all. I was with my husband and 85 year old mother. The bunks were horrible. I had to double up the mattresses for my poor mom but she was still miserable. It was cramped and very uncomfortable. The website should clearly note the thinness of the mattresses on the bunks and only suitable for adults. The full size bed was super loud, annoying. T.V didnt work.

No upkeep at all. Tables peeling paint and very rough, slide broken for last few years, I’ve cream shop closed at 8 while a dancing event for kids was going offf until 9, no community fire pit ever. Staff was very nice and helpful. Kids looked to be enjoying themselves very much.

Got there our cabin wasn't cleaned. Delivered wood to us we didn't order, it was for the cabin next door. Red Pine very limited hours. No tubing which is part of why we come.Decided to leave early on Tuesday night, office closed at 5:00, ridiculous, had to chase a golf cart around the campground to return the key. You need a lock box. We've been there 20+ times over the years..won't be back.

Very friendly staff and very reasonably priced. My only complaint is it wasn’t kept very clean but it was made clear that were very short staffed. Bathrooms were gross. Clogged toilets and trash overflowing.

We have stayed at the Hayward KOA for well over a decade, but have not visited in the last five years. I was very disappointed upon our return to your campground. Our cabin was dirty, and the up keep of the grounds and amenities were subpar compared to the past. I am sorry to say that we will not be returning to this campground as our kids always loved coming here while growing up.

Although we appreciated being checked in early, when we got to the cabin it had not been cleaned. We cleaned it ourselves but did tell the front desk. They took a very tiny bit off our bill. We had heard so many good things over the years about the KOA, but were not impressed. It’s definitely family friendly and the staff were very friendly. Needs some grounds and pool work.

Bringing several children with and thinking you have food options available only to find out the cafe/restaurant was closed nearly the entire time was extremely disappointing. When they finally did open there was a sign that said coffee only. You missed out on a ton of revenue from all people out tubing with me that were also upset there were no food options. Please do better.

The campground is not kept up well and we were very disappointed with our cabin as well as our stay and the campground.

We were a little disappointed this year. Cabin upstairs was dirty and bed room had spiders with visible webs. We missed the pool table and air hockey.

Wonderful staff, clean and heated pool, plenty to do in the area. The bathrooms however were in need of service all 4 days we were there. Hair on the walls of the shower, empty soap dispensers and just overall unkept, which was the only negative to our stay this time around.

Had such a positive experience here a week ago when we were on our way to our vacation, we intentionally routed our way home to stay here again. Excellent people in the store, very knowledgeable and helpful.

Fantastic KOA! Great activities for kids and the whole family. Sites are always clean and well maintained. Bathrooms are also well-kept. Friendly, helpful staff.

Sites are a little narrow, you feel like you are camping on top of your neighbors. The KOA it self is nice place. The facilities are fairly well kept but are showing their age. The staff were very nice and helpful and Michelle and her family were a bright spot. Hope the KOA knows what they lucked into those folks.
