We had a great time like we do every year. We were in cabin KL8. Only thing I wish we could change is the mattress in the futon. It is getting pretty flat and uncomfortable. Otherwise we had a great time.

everything was awesome except for quiet hours not being enforced. Other campers were extremely loud, drinking and partying until way past midnight.

The whole camp was so clean and full-of all kinds of activities. We loved all the tall pine trees. The staff was so kind and non intrusive. We will definitely be back.

It was very nice. The porta potties were terrible and smelling and that was all the kids had to use for the family area (pool, store, large playground, ect. Our child had a few accidents trying to get to our camper to go to the bathroom as the porta potties smell was so horrid. They need to be cleaned more often.

We had a great time! The campground offered lots of family friendly activities as well as having a lot of amenities and things to do. We will be back.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hayward KOA. The grounds and campsite were well maintained. The staff were so friendly and helpful! There was a lot to do for the kids. The tye-dye shirts were a hit, as was the dance party. The jump pillow was fun and playground exceeded expectations. The pool was cold but who expected 70 degree temperatures in July? We loved our stay!

The tent site was very nice with grass, flat and lovely annuals in planters. Bathrooms and swimming pool were clean. Loved the pool and mini golf was fun. Yapping dogs in RV's were annoying when owners were gone and left them alone for hours. Nearby RV had strings of bright lights on 24/7 that spread out to our tent site ruining the outdoor camping effect and looking more like the city at night.

We had the best time this weekend! So many activities to keep the kids busy and the staff was wonderful. We will definitely be back next year.

Only issue was one important to us- the nearest and most accommodating restrooms were out of order the entire weekend during peak season. Out of 3 restroom in the park- the walk was quite a distance to closest, often at capacity with a line. When paying $124 a night- with a description of “near restrooms” prior to a non refundable payment-there should have been notice. Otherwise Great.

A lot for kids to do. But when your bathrooms don’t work it makes camping with a toddler more difficult especially at night. Also consider ending loud music before 10. Pool doesn’t seem heated either.

Wonderful time!! We were celebrating our great granddaughters 4th birthday. Owner/manager went out of the way to wish her a happy birthday and gave her a coupon for ice cream �� of her choice. Smiles ear to ear. Pool, camping cabin and grounds very clean. Only bummer was the bathrooms closest to us did not have working toilets, but I think that was being resolved. Will be back!

Our stay was great!!! Actually, we travelled next to the KOA ”journey” in Wetmore/Munising, Michigan… and to say it best, it is a COMPLETE night and day difference. I have always enjoyed KOA, but was surprised at Wetmore. Hayward is PERFECT. We have 3 kids ages 11, 13 & 15 and each of them has something to do and didn’t complain once. Staff was friends, Tabby was SUPER helpful as was Glend

Camp staff was friendly, things were clean although the shower was pretty worn. We are past the kid stage so the pool was not as enjoyable as we had hoped

It was a great stay. The only frustration was paying for WiFi that worked maybe half of the time. You shouldn’t charge for it if you can’t guarantee the service.

Very nice clean place with friendly employees. Suggestion Is to have brochures about things to do in/around Hayward in the checkin area.

We go every year with grandkids. We were disappointed this year. The bathroom by the pool was out of order. They brought in portable toilets. They were nasty! Nothing was mentioned at check in. A heads up would have been nice. The overall cleanliness was much to be desired. The scheduled activities were nice for the kids. We did rebook for next year. If it doesn’t improve, we won’t be back.

We had a great time but same as last year Please get a sign on the bridge that says KOA Exit here for the tubers. I don't know why it is so hard to grab a sign. Also, some work could be done to the exit, it's pretty shady especially when you are barefoot and in a suit. Please put up a sign! Thank you

The sites are narrow and do not allow for parking a vehicle. Hence everyone’s vehicle is sticking out in the street making it difficult to maneuver around them when pulling the rv.

Noticed deteriation of the property. Water slide did not operate. Mini golf is getting old, update needed. Bathroom were closer at the clubhouse.

Met family friends from Ladysmith and it was the perfect spot. Very impressed with how the staff wanted to help us out. Clean sites too. Just a little dusty when cars drove by.

We were told that we'd have internet and we didn't have any. Also, we were told there is a coffee pot in the cabins, and we didn't have one. Otherwise it was good for what we needed it for. :)

Fun time with family; thought there would be more themed activity during the week/ cafe was closed a lot…. Bathroom near waterslide was not comfortable; 1 shower and changing stall was not convenient; kids enjoyed pool and amenities…

We have been coming to this KOA for many years. Early check in fee of $20 bucks if you arrive 38 minutes early or 2 minutes early! Activities for the kids were lacking. Outhouses set up as one bathhouse was shut down for repair. Pool not opened on time. Up keep and repairs lacking. No changes have been made for some time. Unfriendly staff. Water slide down one day during our stay. Flowers great!!

The site we had was extremely small and the ground had lots of roots sticking up that were trip hazards. The water facet was leaking. I did not discuss with the office as they told me that this would be the nicest park that I had ever stayed in. I was very disappointed.

I come here a few times each summer. I have had amazing experiences. The weather a few times has been another story but they have always been willing to work with me or help me. I already booked my next stay this summer, but will probably stay another time in between.

Since the new owners took over the grounds haven't been that kept up. Tall grass areas that could be at least weep whipped. The cabin where my in-laws stayed was definitely not worth what they paid for their stay. I don't know how many times we passed or came in contact with the new owners, and not one time did they even make eye contact or say anything. Not impressed with them.

Check in was fabulous, cabin already had the a/c on, it was super hot outside, unpacked and then sat on the porch swing... it had an enormous creek, I love a porch swing. Asked the office to send some WD40, and noone came either of my 2 day stay so i wentvto walmart and bought my own and fixd it myself. Pool area was amazing, there were lots of other activities for all ages. Bathrooms were midern and clean! Would definitely return some day.

We enjoyed our time at the KOA. The campground was very quiet, although we were on the back row and not near a lot of the activities. The bathrooms were pretty clean. The showers were hot and had good water pressure. We did rent tubes, they took us to the beginning and picked us up at the end. Being a holiday weekend it was an overall nice stay.

This is one of our favorite KOA's. They are in the works to do some upgrades with plans to put in a splash pad. You can go tubing down the river (highly recommend). There is a pool, which does tend to get a little over packed. On site pizza and ice cream which is yummy. Always clean & family friendly. Lots to do on the area.
