Not enough theme activities - most campgrounds have some kids activities on other days or at least Sunday. And the activities weren't always as advertised. For the low quality of the mini golf course, it should have been included in price. But has a very cool playground, jumping pillow, and heated pool. Game room was too small but cheap. Friendly staff and felt safe letting kids play and explore.

We have been going to the Hayward KOA for many years and have enjoyed it very much but this year will be our last year. There were a few disappointments this year- needed a reservation tube, this would have been great to know at check-in, no DJ dance, not enough chairs in the pool area, office staff could be more friendly and informative.

Check-in was easy and staff very polite. Campsites were clean as well as all facilities. Plentiful amenities and my 2 year old daughter had a blast with all the activities. Themed weekends are a blast. Can’t wait to go back!

Sites are really small.instead of charging for everything, should have a flat fee and wear a wristband for it

We were unlucky with weather, limited pool time. Women's shower next to waterslides barely drains, leaving you to stand in dirty water.

Always the highlight of our summer, fun for the whole family. Always clean and so many fun activities for the kids. We love the Hayward KOA!

Clean, quiet, fun! We enjoyed all the amenities you guys offered like the pool and water slide. Probably my favorite koa to date!

Tight spots due to the layout of trees and lack of parking next to spots. Actually seen one person hit the tree due to not able tp pull in with out enough angle to get in, seen another person have to switch spot because there was no way to get in the spot. When reserving we even give length of trailer.... staff and activities were great. Layout bad.

Bathrooms always dirty, stall bottoms far too high, showers provide no privacy, employees are bothered when you report issues. Additionally, we were dumbfounded by an interaction with Linda (employee) less than one hour after we arrived. She actually yelled at our daughter to not touch an item if not buying, even though my husband/I were next to her, and I had said to check the price. Appalling.

Large, clean campground with sites for every kind of camping plus lots of cabins. The staff was very friendly and helpful and there were lots of activities! One complaint is the fact that other campers (mostly adults) would walk right through our campsite even though there was a clearly marked walking path on the other side of our trailer. Please learn some campground etiquette, fellow campers!!

Fun kids activities, clean but dates facilities. Grounds staff were friendly and helpful, the desk staff ranged from apathetic to rude and hostile. Will not be returning.

It was ok . We expect some newer facilities and the quite time should be from 11-8. Every morning someone wake us up at the kitchen area . We could not sleep well when always someone is there in the morning. Staff was nice . It is fine overall. Wish it is more staff to do with kids .

As usual we had a great time, Will the KOA be grinding the tree stumps, it's easy when you walk around to not take notice of them and trip easy, Just wondering. Sorry to see that a lot of them are gone. but not as much sap on the car. Ha Ha. Wouldn't mind some gravel in some of the site also, helps when it rains, no mud to contend with. We possible have some people who may like to stay.

It was a KOA that had everything for the kids, activities, and really neat areas for groups. The sites were VERY close to one another. The office staff was friendly but did not know much about anything outside of the KOA. Bathrooms were okay. Probably would stay elsewhere due to there confusion.

we enjoyed the family-friendly atmosphere, and the beautiful Norway Pine plantation. We took part in many activities you offer. Only two complaints/comments: 1) too few bathrooms for the campground 2) the battery-powered blower used to clean the grounds in the morning is VERY LOUD and REALLY disturbs the grounds.

We go every summer and it's one of our families favorite place to go! I've gone every year since I was a kid and now I love seeing my kids enjoy Hayward KOA. We love it here!

I come to Hayward annually to ride MTN bikes and gravel, and just recently bought an EV. Hayward is short on reliable EV charging stations, and the closest supercharger is close to 140mi away. The staff were so gracious to let me charge my car and keep me from having to wait over 24+ hrs while charging on a household 120V plug! Even though I wasn't staying at the campground. I love people who continue to pay it forward!
