We miss the welcome white board announcing the new arrivals. It’s a little thing but it was nice to see especially after a long drive. We travel over 4 hours to stay here. The showers in the office building could much more pressure

All was fairly good. Sites were a bit small and tight. In camp rules they stated in bold print not to cut thru occupied sites. We had a repeated problem with cut throughs. From observation I think cabin dwellers need a bit more instruction.

They had very nice facilities and many cabins. The bounce pillow kept our daughter entertained for hours.

Upon arrival we received a text msg. During our stay & at ck-in there was no communication re tubing Only about Red Pine reduced hours & limited service. We missed out on tubing!! On Tuesday, they were grading the dirt road up & down for an extended amount of time. EVERYTHING inside my camper & truck were covered with dust. (Even with windows closed) Our campsite was not cleaned before arrival.

Normally I give 10's, it was a nice KOA with a lot to do. The issue I have is they graded the road for about 3 hours on Monday after the weekend. So much dust we could not sit outside. The other issue is the sites are to tight to get the camper out. We had a pull thru end site but had to back out of the site and that took some effort. I would recommend anyone with a 36 to 40' unit to think twice.

I have been going to koa sence my girls �� were little we always seem to have a great time .its always great to get away and have that camping experience koa its always a great time .

We had a very fun stay. The kids missed the field games - had their balloon toss teams all chosen. The adults missed the camp doing s’mores - but we did them ourselves. Lastly, I don’t like the new $20 charge to choose your campsite.

The RV spaces were way too close together in between trees. Very difficult to maneuver. If there was someone in front of us, we would never been able to get out in the morning. Due to the pine trees it’s all dirt very dirty.

Our stay was good. We purchased arm bands for the our grandkids, however, they only used them for 2 slides. It would be nice if you could purchase a weekend arm band or have them included in the camping price. It’s too expensive to purchase them each day. Especially when they aren’t used very much.

This was our first time staying here and it was Glow Weekend. The kids had a lot of fun with the activities. I gave it a lower rating because they had a glow dance party, which was fun to participate in but the music was AWFUL. They played very inappropriate songs with lots of swearing. Should have been geared more towards kids. The movie on Friday was also more of an older kid/adult movie.

The stay was nice. We were at the back of the campground next to the woods. This made it better because we were not in so close to other campers. Another restroom would be nice it was a long walk for only 3 stalls. The kids activities were nice. The pool was very clean. The picnic table needed a new board.

It's nice if you like other campers right on top of you. Very tightly packed in, but that's not really my thing. Kind of an average KOA with average customer service and average employee engagement.

Sites very close together and no grass except a handful of w/e sites only. Large pool was nice and kids liked the water slide. Did not like having a site next to the walkway on the RV side. Zero privacy. Would stay again at a patio site for the pool.

We’ve been bringing the grandkids for 9 years. Two things they really missed this year - the yard games and the S’mores. The camp seemed a bit understaffed - trash not emptied, etc., but everyone had a great time. I don’t like having to pay $20 to pick our campsite. That’s quite a rip-off. Should be first come (or reserve) first serve.

Awesome time, great place. I would say it’s time for some upgrades, playground, mini golf other areas are getting a bit run down. But, we will be back!

We have been coming to this KOA for 10 years. This time was a different experience. We were understanding of the water slide not open and no river tubing service due to the lack of employees. What was hard to deal with was the showers/bathrooms being extremely dirty. They have added a $20 “lock-in” fee to reserve the same spot for the following year (along with first night payment).

Hayward KOA is my favorite place to stay. I was there twice this year, and I'm already booked for next year. Staff is so friendly there. Everything at the campgrounds are perfect.

Beautiful campground! Kids loved the pool and bounce pillow - were sad that the slide didn’t open on Thursday morning. Would recommend to a friend.

Having so many prices, and not being able to see the different cabins or camping sites. Staff explaining to many variables management cleared things up.

Great time w/friends. Well maintained. The lower score reflects in that we asked for sites next to each other months prior and one person of our group even drove the 2 hours to confirm it. It didn't happen, not even an apology. I'll pay $ for quality, but this left a bad taste in our mouths. A/C in one of the cabins simply didn't keep up. It was a great trip, just could have been A+

Very dirty camp ground overall. Rented cabin and paid extra for my dog. Very dirty floor. Shower house should be closed or take my pet deposit to clean the dirt, hair and bugs out of showers. Dogs chained to trees, kids toys out in drive and clothing hung on fence to dry at front gate. Also small children left unattended in bathroom and shower area in pajamas. Left a day early. Not a KOA.

Sorry, but way to busy for me. Staff were very friendly and seemed very helpful. Would have liked to swim but I don’t care for rubbing elbows with people while doing it. Overall it was a good weekend to break in the new camper.

It was a last minute stop as we were passing through the area late evening. We only stayed for one night but regret that decision. So many fun things for the kids to do. It looked well cared for and the people were nice.

We've stayed at the Hayward KOA many years and this was the first time it's disappointed. Our cabin was filthy,nothing had been swept. Things fell under the beds and retrieving them brought back dirt and cobwebs.Kids pinata event was poorly organized.Unable to tube the river due to a lack of tubes and drivers. Overall disappointing, The special touches no longer exist. Sorry to see it go downhill.

We love Hayward KOA. You do such a great job Showers and bathrooms are very clean. You have alot things to keep kids busy and having fun. Your Friday and Saturday activities are fantastic. Our grand kids love it. You all work very hard day in and day out and I thank you.

This was our 3rd year at this KOA. We had some concerns-cabin was dirty, bathrooms were not cleaned often enough, and the showers were beyond gross. I only took 1 shower in 4 days because it disgusted me. Pool did not seem clean-water not clear at all. Lifeguards very unprofessional, not safe. Chatting with friends, no uniform, and doing things they told kids not to do-like going down headfirst.

We go every summer and it's one of our families favorite place to go! I've gone every year since I was a kid and now I love seeing my kids enjoy Hayward KOA. We love it here!

I come to Hayward annually to ride MTN bikes and gravel, and just recently bought an EV. Hayward is short on reliable EV charging stations, and the closest supercharger is close to 140mi away. The staff were so gracious to let me charge my car and keep me from having to wait over 24+ hrs while charging on a household 120V plug! Even though I wasn't staying at the campground. I love people who continue to pay it forward!
