I normally give the Hayward KOA a higher rating, but until the central bathroom issue, that has been a problem for all four of our stays this summer, gets fixed I can not give a higher rating. You need to repair the whole sewer/plumbing system for that bathroom.

Great place to stay - lots of great amenities. We were there over the Chequamegan Fat Tire 40 weekend. I wish they would leave the pool and waterpark open until after the Chequamegan race weekend. My grandkids would have all been in there all weeekend and it was still int he 80's for temp. But the hosts had a free Spagehetti dinner for us all on Friday which was awesome for them to do that.

It very nice as always . I’m 61 years old and have been coming to your campground since 1990… My kids have all grown up and now it’s just me . My brother came with this time. He also camped with his family since mid 80s All the camper’s that come there are always kind and friendly � Thanks for providing us with a great place for memories ���

The Hayward KOA is a lovely campsite. The staff are very pleasant and hardworking. The campsite feels remote...wooded country, but you're only 7 minutes from town and anything needed. It was quite full due to a bicycle event and yet it was very peaceful. Very pretty.

Great experience this past weekend. Friendly staff. Landscaping and grounds were maintained nicely. The only reason I did not rate it 5 stars was the muddy roads and lack of gravel maintenance.

The staff are friendly, they keep the campground clean and they offer terrific events for kids. We camp here every year and plan to continue doing so for years to come!

We have been returning for many years. The amenities are good. Seems there is an issue with the septic and/or pool or water side every year. One or more is always closed. Would request the staff in the check in/out office and driving around be more polite, very rude each year. Understand its the end of the season but its not what you say its how you say it. Kids that work there are great!

This is our 3rd time here and the first two were awesome. This time was good. I get that this time was in the off season but I didn’t realize it until we got there and the pool my son was wanting to swim in was drained and the ice cream store was closed and the general store closes at 5. If I knew that we probably would’ve planned it that way and not give his hopes up. Nobody was around to hel

The Wi-Fi was worthless and the supposedly enhanced Wi-Fi wasn’t any better. Just got an additional $8.00 out of me.

The flush toilets closest to our cabin were unusable the entire 3 day weekend. My husband and I are in our 70s; we had stayed at this KOA the previous year so we knew where things are; we did not like the extra walking at night to a flush toilet. The port-a-potties, which were closer, were okay for about a day and a half, but then they started to fill with waste and were disgusting to use.

Everything was great. Only negatives was they ran out of donuts before 8am and the pool heater broke. My son was pretty bummed it was too cold for him to swim. Otherwise we love KOA. It was our 3rd year.

Last year at our Labr Day stay the pol heater broke, same thing this year. The vandalism is concerning and there wasn't follow up on how it was handled. Was it park goers or outside folks? Did we need to be worried about our campers,vehicles, bikes, etc. being vandalized? We have stayed here a few times, are rewards members, but we may look elsewhere for next year's stay.

This past weekend was the second time this summer we stayed at the Hayward KOA. Was very disappointed in that the bathroom/septic issue, that was discovered in May for one of the bathrooms was not fixed, For having to use porta potties, we should get a discount. Also, disappointed the pool heater went out. Appears to be some maintenance/management issues this year!!! Please fix for next year!

The place is in disrepair, Toilets aren't working, no heater in the pool, water slides arent working right, mini golf needs a major update. These oweners now let UTV''s 4 wheelers, and golf carts race all over the campground. I have been campign here since 1994 with my kids and nw my grand kids and have never seen anything degrade and go down hill so fast.

Great campground with lots for the kids to do although we were a bit disappointed the advertised heated pool heat wasn’t working and couldn’t get fixed in the time we were there. Bathrooms were also closed and smelled awful. The ports potties were dirty or out of order. Will stay again next yr, hopefully all is working order.

Rude staff, dirty bathrooms and half were not working. Freezing cold pool like as cold as lake superior! (Heater broke) all of these things have happend in the past old ownerfixed it right away. as always the red pine staff was amazing. But the Office staff not so much. I've been coming here for over 10 years and this will be my family's last time. Very sad to see how far down this place has falle

We look forward to staying here every year. We were disappointed that the Red Pine was closed all day on Tuesday. And also the water in the water slide was so cold that my kids did not want to go down it. We did have an issue with an unsupervised young boy who told us he was an employees son. He spanked our 7 year old on the butt while they were playing on the playground.

The bathrooms were down the whole stay we had to use ports potties without and compensation for that. Everything costs extra money. The bathrooms and showers were disgusting and always dirty. Empty soap dispensers in the bathrooms after the “cleaners” left. Website didn’t mention extra cost for slide. Playground was unimpressive compared to photos.

It was fun but…we had visitors come and my sister had to pay for her 4 month old baby to come in! Then the kids could not do much because the slides were closed and they shut down the trampoline really early so they were paying for all their kids to do nothing. It’s really frustrating.

This was our 13th annual trip. The grandkids love it every year. Having porta potties instead of bathrooms was a bummer. We still miss all the Saturday games in the field, and it gets more expensive to pay for everything while we’re there. BUT the grands were happy.

We have been coming here for years. While we had a great time with our kids and grandkids, the facilities are definitely in grave need of upgrades. The pool did not feel heated and was rough. The mini golf is in terrible condition with rotted wood. The bathroom was dirty and too well used and I would have gone filthy rather than take a shower. Please upgrade. It would be a shame to lose this gem.

The bathrooms were out of order almost the whole time. The machines in the game room were broken. Overall it all seem a little rundown. However, the cafe had good food and prompt delivery and the pool was great.

The campground is old and outdated with many things in need of repair or upgrade. Most frustrating was how unbelievably small the sites are. You are packed on top of each other with no room to park vehicles, no room to sit around a fire pit unless you put it almost in the road or directly next to your neighbors pit. There’s no privacy and the neighbors hookups are literally in your site.

We stayed a couple nights and loved all the events that were organized, the food and grounds. The staff was very helpful and kind, too.

What a great stay! The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed everything there was to do! The kids enjoyed the pool and had a great time with all the activities of the weekend! The Olympics were a hit for sure and so family friendly! Good stay from start to finish. Our first stay and we'll be back!

This has to be one of the nicest KOA's ive stayed at for a while. They offer so many things for kids to do. The stuff and prompt and friendly. Lots of extra services offered. Dont miss smores on Friday nights and the outdoor movie. Travis has done an amazing job. Keep it up. We will definitely be back.
