Was booked for a week and only stayed 1 night. Sites are cramped and couldn’t even get our awning out because trees are so close and sites are not very long. Sites are nothing but dirt and a tiny bit of gravel. Most KOA are nice but not this one.

We came just after the Labor Day rush. It was quiet and spacious under the tall pine trees. We had corner camper sites which we enjoyed. The playground for the grandkids was great. Campfire wood bundle should be $5 instead of $8 for the small size.

This is always one of my favorite KOA campgrounds. The staff really wants everyone to have fun and provide lots of activities to do so. The place is always a bustle of happy people.

We absolutely love the KOA but did not like the change in schedule this year. 2 nights of trick or treating is too much. Otherwise the staff are friendly and the bathrooms are clean.

We love this KOA!! There is so much for kids to do, the atmosphere is great, people are friendly and the staff is awesome! We always look forward to staying here.

Our family absolutely loves the Hayward KOA! The staff are wonderful and the activities are always so fun! It was disappointing to see the arcade was no longer available, we hope it can be repaired. We also were surprised how little food was available compared to previous years. We often eat many meals from the restaurant, so this was challenging to adjust to. We can't wait for our next KOA trip

The trees need to be trimmed so not to hit camper roofs, the roads were too dusty, pool was too hot, no tye dying activity . Movie was great!

Haad reservation 7months in advance,put me in a spot too small could not get slideout,awning hit a tree. Went to office said they had a spot water an electric( had full hookups) for same price,an when tank got full ,honey wagon could come by for a fee ,NOT HELPFUL AT ALL! Worst koa we have ever stayed at.

Good we had a great time, thing where different this year from the last 2 years. We missed the Friday night s'more and having trick or treating Friday and Saturday night was a bit much, Saturday night is enough. Heater in the pool was fixed this year that was great. Miss the game room. I hope sometime they put a little money into the mini golf course.

It was really great, but the pool was HOT and overcrowded (I only assume) because the waterslide was shut down. The place is 90% sand and gravel, making it filthy for Littles. But that’s just the fact it was built in red pines. DESPITE THAT, it was really really clean so I’m impressed!

Mattress in Deluxe Cabin is unacceptable. Go inside and just sit on the queen size mattress and you will understand the rating. Fridge is not working properly and defrosting. Unit was clean including bathroom. Window shades need replacing. For the price I expected a better experience.

Checkin was slow and requires the license plate of your vehicle. Some music event on Saturday night that was extremely loud. Place was clean. Didn't use the bathrooms or pool. Firewood is delivered to site.

Had a wonderful stay been coming there since the middle or late 70's haven been coming lately kids & Gr. kids trying to get together is hard and some of them have other interest.

Very nice KOA! The service was awesome, minutes after ordering ice and firewood, they were delivered to our site. Showers were pretty clean, difficult to keep the floors clean with constant sand traffic. Our site was very nice and we enjoyed the patio. We will definitely return.

All staff and employees were great. The heater didn’t work in my little cabin (#182). When staff came over to look at the problem, they found the knob was missing, but they were able to get it turned on. However when I came back later, turned the knob on, the heater rattled so loudly that i sounded like it was going to rattle apart!

Staff and activities were amazing. We enjoyed the community and the fun events. The low score was for the state of the cabin we stayed in. The cabin smelled like ammonia when we arrived. Determined it was mold growing in the air conditioner. The floor was very weak and part was repaired by tape. The floor was very soft in spots. The side of the cabin had many holes where animals live.

We chose this campground for its proximity to the CAMBA trail system and knowing we can always count on KOA to provide everything that we need for a comfortable relaxing stay. This campground did not disappoint and having the ice cream and pizza shop was an added bonus for our kiddos. The pool is amazing and, though our kids are older, the playground looked like a lot of fun. Thanks!

the kids had a blast! It was a bummer that you were having issues with the pool but we totally understand and appreciate that you were working on fixing it properly. The text message when it was back open was great because being in the back of the campground it would be a long walk over to check to see if it was open. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Only had an overnight stay, but park was clean, quiet and friendly. Would seriously consider a longer stay in the future.

Camped with a 4 y/o granddaughter. Plenty of planned activities. Friendly staff. It was a great stay. The pool needed to be closed for repairs but had it up and running by late in the day. Thank you! Enjoyed the heated pool.

Overall, it was a great stay. We stayed Mon-Sat so saw a lot of people come and go. BUT, I will say, the staff this year was less than desired. The bathrooms were only cleaned twice in our stay, even after we complained. There were no warm and friendly faces to greet us or help us. They seemed to be driving around aimlessly on their golf carts. Our presence seemed to be an annoyance. Sad this year

Ce camping a tout pour être parfait. Malheureusement il n est pas super bien entretenu. Fin août plus d accueil après 5h, le coin restauration fermé. Le camping est quasiment vide. Le coin cuisine près de notre emplacement fuit. Les eaux usées débordent sous les éviers créant une innondation nauséabonde. Nous avons contacté a personne de garde de nuit pour signaler le problème

Beautiful trees. Convenient to a Walmart. The dust is unbelievable! We left a day early and lost money. You can’t open your windows. Dust bowl.

Pool had to be closed for several hours Saturday. Water slides out of commission, which we didn't find out until asking about them while waiting for pool. Mini golf is still lame. Wasn't the 1st time pool was closed over a couple years, maintenance not priority. No discount or refund given. Just free mini golf. So we decided we won't be back. Finding somewhere new to get what you pay for.

We had a wonderful time! All the staff was amazing and helpful, lots of fun activities for the kids! The only comment I have for improvements is the camp kitchen is definitely in need of some upgrades. One whole section didn’t work at all and the sinks would leak onto the floor causing stinky water buildup. Everything else was perfect!

We’ve gone to this location every August for 8-9 years and this was the one year I was actually pretty disappointed. The water slide was closed entirely, the pool was closed the majority of the day on Saturday, the dog park gate lock was broken, a lot of washers and dryers were out of order, the arcade was no longer there. It just wasn’t as maintained and it was a little disappointing.

Never return. Got put in a tiny site and nowhere to park our truck except back our truck in a foot from our camper. Also crappy dump station and water hose wasn't long enough. Also we camped by campers that had a VERY LOUD 4 wheeler that could hardly hear our movie we were watching in the camper.. Also when we were able to use the pool... it broke.... Feel a refund is due!

The pool was broken, the water slide was not functional, there was no game room, it took 20+ minutes to check in, there was dogs parking and children screaming all day and night, and the ice cream shop wouldn’t even let us bit ice cream cuz it was the sundae social only. We stayed for only the weekend so were unable to experience anything

Just ok. The shower facility next to check in is very outdated. The other facility is fine. The pool is very small considering the number of kids there. I do like that they have activities like outdoor movie.

Had such a positive experience here a week ago when we were on our way to our vacation, we intentionally routed our way home to stay here again. Excellent people in the store, very knowledgeable and helpful.

Fantastic KOA! Great activities for kids and the whole family. Sites are always clean and well maintained. Bathrooms are also well-kept. Friendly, helpful staff.

Sites are a little narrow, you feel like you are camping on top of your neighbors. The KOA it self is nice place. The facilities are fairly well kept but are showing their age. The staff were very nice and helpful and Michelle and her family were a bright spot. Hope the KOA knows what they lucked into those folks.
