This is a great family campground. There is plenty for a young family. Very clean and a very friendly staff. It felt safe and accommodating for young children and dogs.

We loved our stay at the KOA in Hayward. From extremely friendly staff to super clean bathrooms and showers and everything in between we had a relaxing and fun time. Our family loved staying in the little cabins and enjoyed all of the activities especially the pool!

Kids Really enjoyed all the amenities that the campground had to offer. There wasn't any bugs and that made the week even more enjoyable.

This is a great place for families with kids, an unending playground. (If you're looking for solitude, lakes and trees, go to a state or national forest.) The facilities sparkle from the care given! The staff is extremely accommodating to fit your wishes. We had reserved online, didn't care for the site--and without question were given a different location. Five star camping resort!

We enjoyed our stay. It would be great if the pool opened earlier in the morning (8am-9am vs 10:30am), to add better signs/markings for where to wait for the pick up after tubing, and to reduce the wait time for that pick up (it was not busy during mid week, yet both times we had to wait 25-30 minutes).

Staff are friendly and hospitable. If there is a concern, they are on top of it right away. Cleanliness is top notch! Lots of things to do and nice shop. Nice to have a cafe on site. Quiet hours are adhered to! Poop bags and trash cans and fenced in pet area are nice. You are all great!!

Neighbors were very loud much past the quiet time. Staff came about 12:00 midnight to tell them to be quiet.. Rest of camp experience was great.

We always have a good time staying here. Only a few complaints. Someone parked in our spot, had to call and they sent someone to check. He had to go search for the people. There was a dog across the way (#77) that barked at everyone and another that sounded like it was in the last row. We were there for my daughter's 5th birthday & so many people on the KOA team made sure to wish her a happy birthday! She had a donut & some toys delivered to our campsite for her birthday & also received a free ice cream cone. It was wonderful how special she was made to feel! We're yearly guests of the campground but this was the first year we came over her bday weekend. It's 1 she won't forget!

The staff were all incredibly friendly and the campground was very nice. The only reason I didn’t give it 5-stars is that I wish you could buy a wristband for the water slide for your entire stay or that it was included in the stay cost. As a family of 4 it got to be really expensive. Other than that, the campground was awesome and we look forward to returning next summer (already booked!)

Check in felt different this year. We arrived at noon. We were told we couldn’t check in until 1. She said our site wasn’t clean. I was told we had to leave as there wasn’t any where for us to park a unit of our size. We left. When we did come back, I wanted to use my $25 KOA reward credit. She forgot. So had to a credit on my card. I didn’t have her full attention. Sat tractor ride-slow

This is a great place to stay, lots to do and we go every year for a family outing. We love the place! The only thing that needs to improve is the stocking of the Sleeper unitls. Ours only had 3 spoons, and 4 forks and many pots and pans were missing. Also, the blinds were broken and falling apart. Please improve the upkeep of the sleeping cabins.

I love the changes to the office/store. Thank you for including the bounce pillow in the stay. Nancy and Brian are amazing with the campground.

It was okay. I don't know if we would be back. It was so cramped, we have never been to a campground where the campers have been packed in so tight! That was hard for us. Also, golf course falling apart, pool was too small for that many people. I'm sure they make enough money to make some upgrades. Bathrooms and sites were clean!

Most staff was rude and disrespectful. Didn’t feel welcomed or know what was going on when for activities. Went into office about jump pad and was asked if we were even staying there. Need to be polite, smile, and be warm and welcoming. Water slide life guards were on their cell phones and not paying attention to kids. Our stay was good, the KOA staff was very nice. But there was way to many barking dogs. The policy of “barking dogs will not be tolerated.” Was not enforced.

We got there late on Thursday night and the front desk was friendly people however we got wristbands and nobody really told us what they were for. The second day we checked in our daughter and grandkids and we had to ask what the wristbands were for and they were not so friendly. Overall most of the staff did seem helpfull.

Very impressed with the cleanliness and what appears to be a on going effort!! Sorry there turned out to be a extra charge that I felt was high for use of the water slide. That slide is what got my first attention to look into staying there. I guess I should have asked. But one would assume it be included. At least we did. Other than that a very splendid stay!!

We had a great time! Love the campground! My only complaint would be that some of the staff can be a little cranky and not always very kind. And the water slide is very expensive. I love that the jumping pillow is now included!

Didn’t appreciate paying extra for amenities at this KOA. Too expensive to stay with kids as everything that is more fun than a pool costs money. One family was denied because they had more than 6 in their family and would’ve had to book 2 sites. Kids are too young to tent by themselves. Large families shouldn’t be discriminated against with limits and should be welcomed in one site with all

We’ve been returning to Hayward for many years and have always enjoyed our time here. We were disappointed to discover the weekly combo bracelets were no longer available. This made tubing and use of the water slide much more expensive. We used both far less than we usually do. We are returning next year and hope the combo bracelets will return as well.

Very happy with the campground, the amenities and customer service. Fantastic place to stay. My kids loved all the wonderful attractions. Thanks to all the staff for being amazing.

Me and my family have been camping three years in a row. We all love it and love the staff here! From doing events almost every weekend to movie nights and a nice playground and pool. The campsites are very nice and the cabins are cozy and comfortable! Are daughter makes new friends every year as well is me and my fiancé we couldn't imagine camping anywhere else the hayward koa is very much like home to us and very family friendly

If you're looking for a well kept, family friendly, pet friendly, camping location, the Hayward KOA is the perfect stop. My family and I had an unforgettable experience this last weekend and we are so excited to go back in just a few weeks!

KOA Hayward is a great campground! There are plenty of things to do to keep you busy and help is always around the corner. The staff are friendly, the playgrounds are nice, the slide is fun, the bouncing pillow is always fun, and everything is just great! I really enjoyed the tall pine trees that were throughout the campground. They prove to be a little more challenging to navigate around with the camper, however, I'd rather navigate the tall trees then bake in the sun! It's a great campground that we will be returning to for years to come!
