All of the workers were so friendly all of the time. Very unusual for us to have such friendly people where we camp.

Went with a friend family. Went tubing, the first 10 mins there is a tree that’s down the width of the river. That was tricky. When we came back the kidos enjoyed the bounce pillow and pool. The glow dance party was fun. Thanks for the stay the ice cream is delicious

Great for families and biking and fishing nearby Clean bathroom and showers. We've been traveling from southern California to visit family in Michigan. Now making our way back. Our 10 year old loves all the amenities and activities, along with fishing across the country!

It is a great place to bring kids and grandkids .. They were very happy with the pool and water slide Hayward was not far away to provide other activities There is drawback, the prices of the sites and cabins are getting a little expensive.

Lots of activities but it is too crowded. Sites are too close together so very little space to enjoy time as a family together at campsite.

Event planner Nikki was phenomenal! The Staff was so friendly. Bathrooms were clean. Camping neighbors stayed up past midnight playing music with loud conversation. Neighbors on the otherside were smokers. Most other campers were friendly and sensitive.

We stayed for a week, and had planned to travel around to sight see which we did BUT there was so much going on at KOA the next trip we will just plan on staying at the campground. It’s clean, facilities are nice, and the people were wonderful!

The bathroom/shower facilities need attention. The floor drain in one of the showers was plugged up, and the little rack you put your soap and shampoo on was really old and crusty. I’m not looking to rip on this place , don’t get me wrong, we love it , and have been coming since around 2000 , and will continue to do so. I have two small kids and they loved all the activities at the campground. The especially loved the pool, waterslide, and gold mining adventure. Thank you for a fun couple of nights!

The shower was broken in our cabin, we had a gentleman try and fix it twice but still didn’t work. There were ants in the bed when we checked in and all over the floor in the main bedroom. The red barn was always closing early due to staff issues, and the lady yelled at my son in the main store for taking to LONG picking out his icecream!!! Our deluxe site should not have been 100 per night. We had a giant puddle in our area, which they came the day we were leaving to fill it. There was no privacy from the cabin next to us and the lawn furniture was junk.

Stayed July 1; site 38. Only stayed one night but a nice campground from what we saw, with lots of amenities. Enjoyed the pizza at the cafe after a long day on the road getting here. Sites are a little tight in our area but was fine for short stay. I will say that it rained overnight and sand was over everything when we packed up to leave.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hayward, WI KOA. Love that they have multiple activities there to do from Mini Golfing, Pool to use, Water Slide, Basketball Court , Volleyball area and Playground area for the younger kiddos Also really neat they even have their own Cafe which has several different types of things to eat from Breakfast foods to Pizza and Ice Cream along with more yummy treats

The kids had a blast and felt special. It felt like a trip just for them. The kabin we were in was a decent walk to the nearest bathroom, which was tough for us. I have four small kids and am parenting solo at the moment, so having to take all of them to use the bathroom was a pain.

Bathrooms are pretty moldy and gross. Better cleaning of bathrooms/showers please! We were not a fan of Glenda in the office. Not welcoming and gave wrong information. Jewel in office was amazing!!

First time here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Had a 4 & 6 y.o. along. The weekend activities were a lot of fun. The main craft lady was very helpful when tie-dying, face painting, and chalk painting and the Dance Party was enjoyable. We have already booked next year's 4th of July camping experience back in Hayward. The bathrooms were clean and the grounds well-manicured.

We had site 215 right by the water slide. This location is not great due to the road noise - obviously not an issue with KOA but I wouldn’t select this site again based on that. There was a bright light attached to the power source between our site and the trailer site next to us that made it hard to sleep. Maybe there is a way to turn that off or down? Otherwise, great staff and facilities!!

The bathrooms weren’t kept very clean. The sidewalks were full of rocks/pine needles. I’ve been coming to the same campground for 25+ years. I’m use to seeing the sidewalks cleaned off every morning with a leaf blower, I’m use to seeing someone in the bathrooms cleaning counter tops and toilet. The outlets don’t work in the women’s bathroom. The ice cream shop shut down early.

Perfect family campground with glamping options! We stayed in 3 deluxe cabins and enjoyed their patios, firepits, and grills. The waterslide next door is available for kids of all ages - you just need an adult if your kiddo is under 42 inches. The only things that would have been nice is a floor plan and inside pictures of the cabins. They have full size refrigerators and showers with small tubs.

What a great stay! The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed everything there was to do! The kids enjoyed the pool and had a great time with all the activities of the weekend! The Olympics were a hit for sure and so family friendly! Good stay from start to finish. Our first stay and we'll be back!

This has to be one of the nicest KOA's ive stayed at for a while. They offer so many things for kids to do. The stuff and prompt and friendly. Lots of extra services offered. Dont miss smores on Friday nights and the outdoor movie. Travis has done an amazing job. Keep it up. We will definitely be back.
