Campground Reviews

The bathrooms and showers were clean and we loved the manner of how they were built. We were disappointed of the lack of grass.

This campground is coming along! You can tell the owners have put a lot of hard work into many updates and improvements. The pool area is very nice and the sites are big, with new trees planted and artificial turf (which is such a great idea for being in the high desert!) The bathhouse was new and very clean, the best I have seen! The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Overpriced

Friendly. Restrooms are the best we’ve seen at KOA. New trees are going to provide nice future shade. Astro Turf is nice addition.

We had a nice spot that included a concrete patio with an enclosed doggie area.

Enjoyable

The park was nice and quiet for the two nights we stayed. Everything was clean. The young lady at checkin was extremely nice and helped us get another night on the books. Great place to stay to visit Arches National Park.

Good place to stay and relax.

Nice to have a field nearby…

This was a wonderful place for a stopover on a long trip for both myself and my 3 dogs. Quiet, clean, friendly and convenient. Highly recommended!

Extremely nice staff. Good spot for overnight stay, easy access of I70.

The space was level and the area between coaches is large.

The pool was nice but they need the rubber covers on the handrails. Our campsite was very nice. I really like the turf.

It was pretty basic but so is the little town. We had nothing to complain about other than the hot weather but KOA can’t control that. ;) The lady that booked our reservation was very kind and helpful. Some of the sites have cool upgrades. We would stay here again for an overnight stay.

Good location. Perfect pool. Nice showers. Clean bathrooms. Easy in and out. And thank you for the much needed eggs. Thank you

Thought it was a bit pricey for the amenities but with it being 107 degrees when we arrived, we were thankful for the pool.

A large facility with great staff. But, it is in Green River, Utah!! Good for a night. But little else. Miles from nowhere!

desert environment , very few thin trees , no grass ,it's hot , good swimming pool , nice bath / shower rooms ,nice laundry room .The camp site is pretty much barren.

Great place! Needs more trees (hot in the summer).

Nice and clean pull through sites , gravel so not totally level, but the KOA patio was really nice. Very open so no problem with satellite reception. Bathrooms were very clean. Away from the freeway so not alot of road noise. We never saw the office or store since they closed at 5:00.

Nice, friendly people

I was impressed that every site had fake grass… even the tent sites! They have a nice pool too. All the sites were nicely cared for. You can tell that they have put time and money into upgrading the campground. I’d stay there again when traveling through the area.

It was a good stay. All the dead trees and bugs really put a damper on the park.

an oasis in the desert

The shower rooms were nice and always clean. The pool was okay. The pictures show trees with green leaves, not dead stumps 10' tall. Some had fire a pit, some nothing. Some had chairs and cover while others had the slab. All had fake grass, not helpful to absorb. We were able to use a pavilion at the State Park to have our group dinner, wish we'd camped there. All but one of us left early.

We stayed in the Deluxe Kamping Cabin. It was just great. The kitchenette was well appointed and the bed comfortable. The only thing I would recommend is some kind of awning over the outdoor table (where the pergola is). The afternoon sun just bakes that area. The pool was really nice. Great place to cool off after a day in the desert. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable!

It was perfect for a quick overnight stay. Clean and organized!

The staff was very friendly, the bathrooms were nice, new and clean. On our trip we stayed a three KOA’s and this was our most expensive and least favorite because of no shade. We noticed most of their trees were all dead. Not what we expected from a KOA campground.

Well maintained but very few trees
Jul 08, 2024
Loved the new shower rooms! Everything is very well kept! The lack of shade is a bit of an issue, but the new trees are growing!

Prettiest campground we’ve stayed at. Beautiful place!
Jul 08, 2024
Clean and well maintained gravel lots but overpriced. Local hotels are cheaper.

As an overnight campground this will work, large flat parking areas and if you need it a brand new bathhouse. As far as the rest of it, the park could use some work. Long dead trees remain standing are unsightly and could be dangerous. A few new trees have been planted but will need years to grow. Weeds are also prevalent including a lot of bullhead stickers which can be very painful.

Nice pool. Friendly staff. Great recommendation for nearby dining. Nice store/gift shop. Beautiful new bath/shower building. Could use more shaded sites.

The grounds were clean and well kept. Lack of trees in the tent area was a negative. The pool was clean and cool - a real treat. new private shower building was a nice tough. The one real downer was to bank of spotlights on the back of the Motel right next to the tent area. They were on all night long, very bright - like middle of the dy. It was like being in a high security prison or gulog.

Very clean and hosts are great. The pool is amazing, the only problem is you need some more shade trees around the campground
Jul 04, 2024
We stayed for one night on a tent site which had no shade of any kind so be prepared for that, especially with pets. Aside from that, the service is great. The new bathrooms with showers are the best yet and the site was a good size. Great fellow travelers as well.

The facilities were amazing and the staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Very nice staff and accommodations are what's expected for a KOA. Very clean bath houses and sites. Mostly gravel but stunning views of horizon. Centrally located to many national and state parks. Amy, Mike, John and Heidi made our monthly stay most enjoyable and memorable.

This was my last camping spot from my 8000 mile cross country. I want to strictly mention about camp site. I’ve been to many KOA camp sites and this is the worst. First of all too tight camp site and could hear mosning and screaming at night from next tent. No shade at all. Noisy vehecle sound at nighr since they are located right next to the vehicle road.

Too many rocks and bugs no shade and no pavilion for group gatherings.

It was perfect for an overnight stop. And the restaurant next door was perfect. We didn't have time to visit the downtown area but it looked nice.

Location of this KOA right off highway was nice (road noise not an issue - there is a train nearby though that does pass by at random times day and/or night/early am so just be prepared if you're a light sleeper). Centrally located within an hour of Arches & Canyonlands NPs, Moab, & Goblin Valley. Campground itself apparently underwent some new improvements. It's well kept. Rv sites level ( gravel with cement patio, picnic table and a patch of astro turf). Large dog park ( all gravel, no grass ). Didn't use the new bathhouse so can't comment there. Pool was closed during our week stay. I wish this KOA the best with your future RVers /campers and hope for much success in the revival in the future to the cute little town of Green River.

Nice and clean campground. Swimming pool, nice bathrooms and showers. The pet area is fantastic! Plenty of room for your fur baby to run. We arrived after check-in time, but the process of selecting your own site from this available was easy. Would definitely stay there again.
