The San Rafael Swell is one of Utah's most spectacular landscapes but also its best kept secret. Green River is only 45 minutes from Moab, a Mecca for off-roading enthusiasts, and a stone's throw away from the lesser-known San Rafael Swell. The "Swell" is unlike any other place Utah where you can ride your dirt bike or atv. The landscape is unique and beautiful and the trail system is robust, with similarities to Moab, full of sandy washes and jeep trials with options for riders of all skill levels. A few of the more famous trails are Temple Mountain and Five Miles of Hell.
