Unkept depressing campground

I give them a 2 because the newer bathrooms were very clean. First KOA I have been to where we never saw a KOA employee after check in and we stayed 4 nights. Weeds in site where high and many of them. Third day we came back and they were gone. They just need to clean up the grounds from the weeds. There are train whistles at all hours of the night. (Not their fault) it just needs some TLC.

We stay here a lot on our trips back and forth to Nevada from Denver. It's a great stop off. They are very kind. We did feel like the price was a bit High considering it's off season.

If you are a tent camper only stay here if you are a sound sleeper. There is a Motel 6 RIGHT next door, it has bright parking lot lights, noise and barking dogs. And there is the midnight train horn. The facilities are clean and there is a restaurant conveniently close.

Fantastic overnight in the winter. Pool looks awesome, definitely want to come back. Conveniently close to everything in green River. Very easy off the freeway.

The campground was clean and they had carpet on the ground at our site so you weren’t walking on gravel all the time. The campground is centrally located to three National Parks and other activities. At check in we were offered a pull through for less money. We agreed, but then were told none were available. Interestingly, there were very few sites taken all week. It was confusing!

Pros - full service hookup options. Restrooms and showers. Cons - basically a gravel parking lot behind brightly lit hotels. Wildly overpriced at nearly $100/night. Would only stay here again if it was the only option based on travel plans as it was for us this time. A more reasonable price ($50/night) would change expectations and yielded a higher rating.

No shade, trees. Pool not open yet. Bright lights from road and motel at night. Restrooms/showers clean and very nice.

The only thing separating my campsite from the motel 6 next door was a short fence, which did not feel very safe or secure. There was a dog barking on and off the entire night at the motel 6 and a lot of loud people and vehicles in and out of the motel at all hours of the night. I would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

I only stayed overnight and did not use any of the facilities, but the park was clean and well maintained. Lovely “buddy” site with a patio and chairs set up in a way that you could share or have your own space. Even the dog park was well thought out. I would definitely stay here agai.

We were just passing through Utah. Green River was available. Easy late check in. Facilities were clean and the campground was well maintained. It was perfect for a stop over.

Great stay and cute cabin! I appreciated the thoughtful lighting throughout the campground and that it’s all downward pointing to preserve dark skies. The campground felt safe, maps and directions were clear and the place was fairly quiet, except for occasional train horns. Close proximity to fun outdoors activities was a huge bonus.

The campground is very well cared for, perhaps one of the best KOAs I've ever seen.

Just needed a quick overnight stay with hot showers. We were not disappointed. The bathrooms were clean and there was plenty of hot water. The view from the campground was spectacular . We especiallly enjoyed eating at The Tamarisk Cafe, which was a short walk away. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful overnight stay. We were on a road trip through the area visiting the Utah NP's and needed a night to just relax and the Green River KOA came up. We did not expect much, but this was a clean well run KOA. The office person, I forget her name, was warm and very helpful. We had time to hit a local eatery take a very welcome hot shower and enjoy the Powell museum across the road. Great!

Bathrooms could use some love! Women's shower was full of hair and there was an old bandaid in my husband's men's shower. Loved the paw pen but wish they were grass! Great spot tho and felt safe!

Cabin and area around it was very well maintained. Showers by the dog park brand new! The dog park is a nice size but all gravel no grass or dirt so not ideal. The campsites with dog runs looked amazing.

So we arrived at 2:30p waited 15min before the lady behind the desk would even greet us. She ignored us as she was on the phone. She did not even say, “I will be with you in a minute”. Nope! Nothing. Then finally she hung up the phone and said “Last Name” . She gave us our pad assignment 9A. Then at 5p we got a knock our door from another camper claimed 9A. This is was her fault!!! Ver

We loved this campground. The staff was friendly and accessible. We were most impressed with the bath and shower accommodations that were better than most hotels. They recently added these accommodations for their guests. Everything was sparkling clean and spacious. We highly recommend this KOA!
