Only there 2 nights. Very enjoyable and clean. Only minor issue was wifi strength…so, not any camping issues.

People were friendly and helpful. It’s a great spot close to many area attractions. Wolfe’s Neck State Park is a must see. Peaceful!

All was well except for the water pressure. We were not the only ones with low pressure. Fix that and it was the perfect stay!

Nice and enjoyable stay! Loved our site and met some wonderful travelers on each side of us. We had some battery issues upon arriving and the owner jumped right and tested for voltage. Battery was dead, he recommended nearby auto store and we were back in business hours later. And to top things off, their brick oven pizza was delicious!

It was a great experience staying with the koa . The only thing I think they could have more of is some more things for the kids to do . Other than that it was great .

Very nice campground in Maine. Very clean and the staff is so helpful. Plenty of choices where to camp. It is an easy drive to Freeport where LLBean is as s well as all the nice outlets and cute shops.

Several guests obviously work because they started their loud trucks at 5:15 am violating Quite Hours which continued until 7am. If you want to sleep until 7 I would avoid this campground.

Beau site ombragé. L'office ferme un peu trop tôt , 17h! Le "wood bundle" petit.

Nice campsite. Quiet and very helpful and friendly.

Very nice roomy sites. Bathrooms are exceptionally clean. Enjoyed the clear sparkling pool and relaxed with a book. Last but least, was very enjoyable for not having a lot of biting bugs at our campsite in the woods.

The campground was ok and fit for exploring the areas in Maine around it. Our site was very level, pull through, no shade, clean bathrooms and showers but older. If you are not an early riser the big machines next door at the quarry might be a problem for some because the beeping and engine noise starts between 6-7 A.M….overall the campground provided what we needed.

The site was all dirt. Easily tracked dirt into motorhome. Luckily it didn't rain.

Except for the weather everything was great as usual.

Overall we enjoyed our stay but felt that this year was a bit lacking compared to previous. The pizza oven was not operational so we didn't get to enjoy that. The crafts this year were a bit lacking. Last year it was Tie Dye Shirts and Sand Art, this year it was painting paper plates and a sun catcher. The kids still had fun, but comparatively, last year's crafts were just cooler and more fun.

The staff goes above and beyond. It’s always a blast! We will be back again!

Thank you so much for accommodating our group and allowing us use of the building for our breakfasts and pot luck dinner even if others had it decorated for a party. Hopefully we cleaned up well after ourselves. Considering all the rain and cold weather that acddcomodation really helped to make our group weekend a very nice weekend! We will be back, as a group and as individuals. Terry

Nice large site and quiet park. We enjoyed the relatively short trip to Portland, which was our ultimate destination for visiting in this area.

Ok KOA but I can’t find any information about what limited amenities means…. No bathrooms open. Owner let me use handicap restroom that workers used. I think in reservation section it should be crystal clear that NO RESTROOMS are open

We drove to Nebraska and back to Maine, staying at KOA campgrounds whenever possible. KOA, is, by far, the better ones to stay at when compared to other campgrounds. The Durham/Freeport campground was one of the better KOA ones with a beautiful secluded site in the trees. We definitely will keep it in mind to stay at again.

We travel around the U.S., Mexico and Canada with our 5 dogs. We usually seek out KOAs because we feel welcome with that many dogs and there usually aren't any ridiculous limits on how many dogs you can have. We were on our way to Canada and were so happy to find this campground was open as many in the northeast are not open yet in mid-April. We felt very welcome at this campground with our 5 canine children. We came in after hours - our map and envelope were waiting for us on the board. Easy to find our spot. Nice, big dog park.
