On the first day we had multiple power outages. A maintenance person worked on it and said it was fixed, but afterward we still couldn't use our AC as running it caused more outages, so we had to switch to just the fan. On top of that, the dust and dirt here have been a constant problem. There's no gravel, and the dirt road right next to our site kicks up dust everywhere. We left after 1 night.

Didn’t use all your facilities, just my wife, dog and I, mid week, very quiet, the grounds are very clean, was very nice that everyone cleaned up after there pets, can’t say anything else nothing going on during the week

Friendly staff. Loved staying in the trees. KOA quality with a state park feel. Very quiet.

Great Holiday Weekend - Weather was the only problem, very hot temperatures which affected the use of air conditioners, but we made it work� Always a great time at the KOA����ϋ�

The campground was very peaceful and the campsites are woodsy and wonderful. My only suggestion is maybe add a jump pad for kids like some other KOA's have.

Beautiful camper ground. Large sites for big rigs. Awesome dog park the biggest I’ve seen at a KOA & we have stayed at over 40. Staff was great. VERY close to Freeport & the LL Bean. Nice pool, a cute donkey & couple horses. Also a LARGE field for the kids to play in. Would stay again if passing through the area.

Another “Holiday” park, apparently from the plethora of activities for young children. This is an absolutely huge KOA, yet they don’t escort you to your sites like most other members of the franchise. This would be an OK campground at about half the price. I had just come from a wonderful place in Connecticut where I paid less than this KOA. This KOA’s dirt streets with potholes that could swallow a Class C, unlevel sites, non potable water, and limited amenities were a disappointment in comparison. I also did not like being told at check-in I had to upgrade from a site I could fit in.

Very nice, clean and well maintained facility. Only 5 miles to Freeport. Portland and Bath are also in easy driving distance.

Great staff. Very helpful. Showers & bathrooms are very clean and stocked w/soap & paper towels. Very nice sites. Reservations are already made for next year!!!

We had a great time. It's a quiet location with great campground activities and amenities. Bathrooms were clean, the grounds well kept with lots of tree areas. Our only suggestion is maybe the addition of a gaga pit and/or bounce pad.

ADA bathrooms were locked and the ramp to them was overgrown. We had to leave early in the morning for my wife to use a restroom that was usable. The men’s room had no paper towels overnight. There was also no enforcement of quiet hour rules as people were extremely loud until after midnight. The campsite itself was nice and large, sadly the electric hookup was only 30 amp with no 20amp.

Convenient location near Yarmouth and far enough away from major roads so was very quiet at night. Site was level, with reasonable space between campsites next to us. Good area to walk dogs. Bathroom and shower facilities were clean and in good shape. We would stay here again if in the area.

We enjoyed our stay. There was a lot of dust with the dirt roads. We had to wipe out the washer and dryer before using them. There was 'yuck' in the gasket and on the lint filters.

Definitely one of the cleanest and most well run KOA’s that we stayed at. This is our second year here. Most definitely will be coming back next!

We had a great time at the campground. We brought our 4 y.o. grandson with us for his first time camping and he was so excited with everything. He had a great time on the playground. He heard the train coming around for rides but we didn't make it soon enough and the owner saw he was disappointed and he started it up again and took him and a couple of others on a trip around and that was so nice.

The kitchen was well stocked and cabin was very clean. No soaps were provided, back door to cabin did not lock properly. Otherwise beautiful setting for a KOA. We had a very nice stay with very friendly hosts.

Stayed 2 night Sunday and Monday. Quiet campground. Rented one of the Dome Cabins, with own restroom and shower. Roomy, clean and updated all around. 2 adults and 1 disabled young adult. Room for his sleep tent. Really quite pleased with this experience. Nice folks in the office.

We had a wonderful, quiet weekend at the KOA Freeport/Durham, Maine. We expected a more peaceful stay with the timing—summer winding down and kids back in school—and it was exactly that. At the same time, it is easy to see why this campground would be a premium destination during peak season. We stayed on a pull-through patio site, and it was excellent. The site was spacious, very level, and appeared to be in awesome, nearly new condition. The patio furniture was a great touch and made it easy to relax outside by the fire. At night, the open view of the sky gave us some beautiful stargazing. The utilities were modern and worked exactly as expected, including strong water pressure. The campground itself is clean, well kept, and welcoming. Every staff member we met was super friendly, and the washrooms we checked were very clean. The camp store was also a pleasant surprise, with lots of unique gifts and fair pricing. This is a very dog-friendly campground, which we appreciated. Another fun feature was being able to visit and pet the horses at the on-site stable. The pool area looked great as well, especially the water slide—definitely something we would enjoy on a warmer or busier trip. The location is another major plus. It is close to Freeport, with great restaurants, shopping, and plenty of nearby attractions. It is also a great area for biking, with state parks and outdoor recreation close by. Overall, this KOA offers a comfortable, polished camping experience with spacious sites, friendly people, clean facilities, and plenty to do nearby. We would absolutely stay again.

The only minor problem was that my site wasn't ready when I got there and had to wait a few hours before I could move onto my site. They offered another spot for the night if I wanted and did what they could to make up for the inconvenience. Other than that this place is a wonderful park with great people and accommodations.
