This is our third time staying here. Twice in our camper and once in a cabin. Every trip has been great. Bathrooms and showers are very clean. All the staff is great and friendly. We are already planning our next trip. Highly recommend this Koa.

Friendly staff, everything was well maintained. Pool was clean and a nice size. Our RV site was a little short for a pull through site but still adequate.

Site 101 flooded when it rained and we could smell sewer the first day but I guess the issue was fixed. I enjoyed our stay other than that

Was a little disappointed we were crammed between another RV & the bath house-no good view-look right into bath house window. Wi-fi was crappy We couldn’t get satellite reception

A one night stop for us on way down 95. About 5 miles off highway but worth it!! Great staff. Super clean. Site (pull through) was a great size! Wished we could have stayed longer.

I love the park. It’s lovely. I just would not stay on site 24 or recommend anyone does. It’s on a hill and very unlevel. Otherwise it’s great there. Thanks

We were very disappointed with this KOA. This was not an inexpensive stay yet all of the "ammenities" are sub-par. The pool was filthy and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. The laundry machines are very outdated and only 2 of the 4 dryers worked. They have a problem with ducks taking over the grass areas around the green, murky pond and are leaving duck crap everywhere. Just gross!

Tip for Future Campers: All KOA pools meet health department standards. They may need a facelift, but the water will bring you a splashing good time. The geese have finally flown! Happy Camping!

Great little park. Only downside was, cable at our spot, very grainy. We weren't able to get satellite due to all the gorgeous trees. Wifi was excellent. Very clean, well maintained and great staff.

Very friendly and responsive staff! Found us a site for the nite, pull-thru easy access for our rig. Beautiful location to stay longer next time!

We were at the last stay of a 30 day RV trip and we will never return. I wrote this out and ran out of space. There isn't a textbox big enough to describe the intrusive manager and rude staff. I made it a point to let them know that they are rude and cost me unnecessary money bc of their mistakes during registration. I would not recommend if you are looking for a true KOA feel.

Tip for future campers: Rental camping equipment breakdowns and malfunctions are not the responsibility of any KOA. All sewer connections must be fitted to campground hookups to avoid accidents. Happy Camping!

Overall it was very good I hope my club comes back next year. However, my site was not good. I am the wagonmaster for the Blue Crab Fun Bunch and I do breakfast for the club. Site 96 has almost no room for me to prepare breakfast for 18 people. I was lucky and the weather was bad so I was unable to fix breakfast. I have sites numbers in my travel log that are not suitable for me for a return trip

We enjoyed our stay at the Fredericksburg KOA. I think the only disappointing part of the stay was that, in spite of having reserved as a group, our group members were scattered all around the campground rather than parked together. In previous years staying at this campground, our rigs were all grouped together.

The check-in process was fast. The staff was helpful when ever we visited the camp store. The bathrooms were very clean and supplies were sufficient. The pool was well maintained and our grandkids loved the play area.

The dog park is very small. The pool did not look clean, it was a yellow-green rather than blue and clear. The bathroom was well lit and clean.

We had a very enjoyable stay during our 8 day reservation. The campground seems to be upgraded each time we visit. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Cudos to their manager Stephanie! The Williams, Forest, VA

Lovely, wooded , peacefully quiet setting. Great paved roads within park, gravel FHU with 50 amp sites. Immaculately clean spacious bathrooms & showers. Many of each. Exceptionally friendly & helpful staff. However, poor signage off Hwy. , extremely confusing direction after exit 118. Hwy. 1 not posted. Roads off Hwy. 1 to park are hairpin blind turns, no shoulders & drop offs. $81 overnight, bit high but close to east coast & our Nations Capital

Ran into truck trouble on 95 on a Thursday before Easter. We needed to find something very quickly and close to a dealership to have the truck fixed. Luck was on our side when we saw a KOA 10 miles from the dealer. I tend to over research before picking where to stay, however, we had no time. I booked a site literally 5 minutes before arriving. The grounds are beautiful, shady and tucked into the woods. Plenty of room to walk and for my son to ride his bike. A great playground which he loved as well. There is also a pond on site which adds to the charm. The general store/office was nicely stocked. They did not have milk or butter but had a couple of grocery items such as eggs and hot dogs. It had rained a lot the night before so the grassy areas were pretty soggy but the staff were actively trying to get any sitting water off the sites and roadways. The staff were super friendly, welcoming and very accommodating. If our travels bring us back to this area, we would definitely book again.

Stayed at this campground many times. Great location. This is the first time they charged extra for pets. Not sure why they need to do this. Maybe they charge extra for kids too. Campground prices are high enough without adding extra charges.
