I always enjoy this KOA spot in Flagstaff. I can see some areas that need some improvement. I have viewed the new Hospitality Units which are very nice, but the remainder of the campground needs a facelift. Roads are in bad shape, signage is not present, and the bathrooms need to be explanded or a second complex should be added. You are a popular place, and people need to have adequate facilities

We absolutely love the Flagstaff KOA and can't wait to return!

Easy check in. No sewer hook up, which is obviously on me, so I'm not dinging you for that. But the serious problem is the condition of the bathroom: very low water pressure, and not clean at all. This my husband's report, so I didn't even go there. I'm sure you can and will take care of this!

I’ve never in 30 years paid to camp in so much dirt

One of the best koa we ever stayed, very clean, staff are great, very friendly. One think we like the most the spacing,we are not ontop of each other with the other campers, just perfect space.

Beautiful site! We will be back.
Jun 07, 2026
It was fine but they were having water and septic issues when we were there.

The park is fairly quiet, even though it's just off Hwy 89. The staff was very friendly. The location is really convenient to great hiking trails. On the downside, the spaces are small. We had no room to put out our awning or sit outside, and it was tight leaving, due to others parking partly on the narrow pavement. The soil is like moondust, and I think it would be a mess if it rained.

Great place! Tucked in the woods, lots of shade. Friendly staff, store and nice restrooms . Rental’s

Lots of upgraded RV patio sites. They were cleaned and well equipped.

Would give 5 stars, but our site had dog poop can 3 ft from our picnic table ( ???). We smelled feces entire stay. Can needs to be moved to trash can area.. it should not be near ANY campsite.

Sites and roads are way too tight for big rigs. Way too expensive, also. I expected a much nicer experience since this was a KOA.

It was delightful not to mention beautiful!

Staff was superb. They were kind and helpful. Campsites are squeezed in tight. Maneuvering is tricky for some sites. Not perfect but very good site.

Very nice campground but no pool or hot tub.

Facilities were very clean. I loved how location is adjacent to forest land with easy access to many trails. Great place for hiking.

Great location - Great playground for the kids - Great staff With this being our first KOA, the sites being very close together was new.. but the advantages listed above overshadowed that. Great!

Great park. The dogs lived the dog park and natural area above the park for a good long hike. Site was super clean and nice shade from the trees. Check in was a little hairy with big rigs trying to get in and backed up almost onto the highway. Only one girl in the office and one guy showing people their sites. Could face been just a one-off though. Recommend this park. VERY QUIET!

Put in a spot too small for our rv We had to back into and touch a tree for our electric cord to reach the box which was in the back instead of on the side

very nice park and staff very helpful.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

That means a lot to hear. We try to keep things running smoothly and make guests feel taken care of, so it is good to know that showed during your visit. We look forward to your next visit.

Rates higher at most KOA campgrounds with not much updating to the campsites. Site was basic for one night. Fairly quiet with some street noise but manageable. Don’t use amenities at most so can’t comment there.
Jun 03, 2026
The dump station is very difficult to access . We were unable to use it as our site only had water and electric.
Jun 03, 2026
It’s not a KOA with customer service. I had several issues that the front desk would not resolve , tried to talk to the owner and they refused to let me get in touch with them. This location is a one night commuter station. Lots of RV’ s pulling in and out every day. The camp sites are sardined into each other. It’s like a Dominos board. The cross in the park are extremely narrow and windin

The showers were adequate but could use some upgrading. The campsites are really nice with BBQ (along with tools for cooking) and a nice fire area with two chairs to enjoy. Very nice set up!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We are happy to know the campsite worked well for you. The setup is designed for easy, relaxing stays, and we appreciate your note on the showers. We look forward to having you back.

Very difficult to maneuver vehicle with trailer.

I stayed in the same spot last year and was disappointed this year when I pulled into our site only to discover that you erected 3 cabins affecting our view of the national forest. I was also expecting cable hookup for tv which you eliminated. Guess I should have checked your website instead of assuming you still had it. All in all it was an enjoyable stay and I would stay there again.

The park overall was very nice. However you really need to consider updating your showers/restrooms. There was no water in some of the showers in the center facility of the park. Also the shower heads are too low in both restrooms.

Very easy to stay at the Flagstaff KOA. Check-in and check-out is quick and easy. Excellent environment to camp in and I like the "Holiday" type of KOAs

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for sharing your experience. It is great to know your stay felt easy and enjoyable from start to finish. We are glad the setting and overall atmosphere added to your time here. We look forward to welcoming you again.

This was a very nice campground! Lots of trees. Very family friendly (although we weren't travelling with kids or pets). Good variety of activities. Facilities are (reportedly) being upgraded after a change in ownership; they are presently more than adequate. Staff and gift/supply shop were top notch. We extended our stay and were accommodated with only a minor move. Definitely on the return list.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for taking the time to leave this thoughtful feedback. We are glad the campground, activities, and friendly staff helped make your stay enjoyable. It is great to hear we could accommodate your extended visit. We look forward to seeing you again!

Everybody was very friendly and the campground was beautiful. I wish you had a spa and a room where people could watch tv .

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We appreciate your comments. It is great to know the team and surroundings made your stay pleasant. We appreciate your suggestions for added features and look forward to having you back.

We were in a lot in the outskirts for large motorhomes. The large rocks on the lots are horrible. It is dead space and tough to walk on. The gate latch on one of the dog parks was broken, rendering it unusable. Office personnel were friendly and helpful. The very worst part: when we first arrived our a/c wouldn’t work, spent $300 to get repair man. It was the power box at fault. BAD!!!!
Jun 01, 2026
We stayed one night. The sites are narrow as are the roads especially for a 40 foot motorhome towing.
May 31, 2026
The staff was friendly and helpful, but the sites were tight with many trees making navigation through the park difficult. Also, only a few sites were paved or even had gravel, the rest of the sites were dirt and, on a windy day, pretty yucky if you were outside at all.

Actually a very nice place to stay, although I have limited experience with RV parks. This one is able to accommodate any type of RV, tent camping, etc. Nice little store at the check in with everything from souvenirs, to items you probably forgot to bring along. The only criticism I have is the bathroom/showers on the east side need to have the stall doors repaired or replaced.

Terrible! Desk people were rude ! Sites are extremely small! Dirt everywhere!!
May 31, 2026
Bathrooms and showers really need replacing. The showers are tiny. old and the shower head was at my nose height and I am a woman. 2 of the three showers I tried had no water pressure.

Dog park was all dirt. Camping areas were packed together.

The one thing I really liked was the vast amount of trees on the property. This campground makes for a great hub, lots of National Parks, National Monuments nearby.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Really glad you enjoyed the trees on the property, that is one of the things that makes this place feel so special. It is also great to hear you were able to take advantage of all the nearby parks and monuments. Thanks for staying with us and exploring the area.

Clean, helpful staff. Also easy access to fuel and Groceries

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Really glad to hear you found everything clean and our staff helpful. It is also great that the location made it easy to grab fuel and groceries while you were here. Thanks for staying with us, we appreciate it.

We stay there a few times a year. The staff is always wonderful. My one piece of feedback is that the last few stays it’s been challenging to level the motorhome. I know it’s a large ask, but it would be helpful for some of the pull throughs to be ran through with a tractor to help reset the ground.

With easy access and a spacious wooded location, this KOA has many amenities for campers to enjoy.

This KOA is a little on the pricey side, but our site did include both water and electric hookups. While it may cost more than some other campgrounds in the area, the location is extremely convenient. It's close to shopping, restaurants, fuel, and many of Northern Arizona's top attractions. Flagstaff makes an excellent base camp for exploring the region, including the Grand Canyon and other nearby destinations. The campground is clean, well-maintained, and easy to access. Overall, the convenience and location help justify the higher price, and we would stay here again when visiting the area.

We were traveling in an RV with our two standard poodles just passing thru. I was impressed with the dog parks, yes two of them. And the fact that you can hike the trails right out the back of the park. Everything else was pretty standard koa, staff friendly, nice playground including a jumping mat. We will come again
