Campground Reviews

Very nice people. Beautiful location just under the mountain. Well shaded.

I reserved a site 2 months early. When I checked in, I was told sites were held for an additional $25. I have 2 problems: -I wasn't told I had to pay an additional $25 to reserve a specific site. -Charging $25 is excessive. If the $25, or even half of the $25 went towards the daily cost of staying, I'd have no issue. The place was clean & employees pleasant - those are basics, not unusual.

The worst KOA we’ve ever been to. Dingy, unkept, crammed, much too close to the road to be a Holiday. It definitely looks like the management doesn’t care. One of our neighbors was a permanently parked RV with trash around it, and the other one arrived while we were out, parked on our campsite (with our tent being up!), took our fire ring and moved our picnic table to their spot. Awful.

Bathrooms are old, dirty and out dated. Tiny showers. Campground is great, lots of trees, dog park and nice office/store with friendly and helpful staff. Staff was great.

Very expensive. People packed very close together. Staff was very nice.

Always love coming to this campground. Only thing I would say needs improvement are sites not having enough gravel and are pretty much loose dirt. Would be nice if sites got gravel redone.

We loved camping amidst the trees next to a mountain rise. The facilities were pristine. All the staff were friendly & helpful. The only slight issue was the tightness of our site within the two trees on either side when parking and leaving--a bit tight. However, not all sites had this issue. There were tents and RVs present. Many families had children enjoying their scooters. Our pets enjoyed it.

Site was too close to neighbor. Good for one night

It was the first time ever at a KOA, the staff was very friendly and always around. I was disappointed in the campsite, after pulling in our RV and placing chairs near it, the site was not flat so the chairs were on a down-slant and was annoying easy to “Fall forward”. Also, the picnic table was wood and old very easy to get splinters, thought that a KoA would have a composite type picnic tabl

The sites are not leved, we are used to pulling into a KOA and it being leveled. This is why I book with KOA. The sites are dirt with holes. We had to keep moving the 5th wheel out of holes to level it. When you pull in you see trashed rvs and Mobil homes which were a big turn off. The good of the park if the big trees and jump area for the kids. Other than that, we won't be back.

Great campground, good amenities. I really liked the patio spot we got. Well worth the extra amount.

The sites are very unlevel and need gravel. The water pressure was very low and the hookups were weird. Water was at least 20 feet away from Rv and electric shared with other site

This place should be closed and rebuilt ..we have stayed at numerous KOA,s and this is by far ,the WORST we have ever experienced,we will probably never use a KOA again ..this was so bad ..we left a day earlier and just ate the 80$

Nice staff but sites are stacked on top of each other with little room or privacy.

Loved it there nice place employees nice close to Grand Canyon no problems

Average campground...for a Holiday KOA I feel this one falls short in the dog park category. The dog ramp was in extremely poor condition with exposed splintering wood , the carpet worn away and generally just a crappy piece of equipment. It wouldn't be hard for the KOA to replace and they should! But most important was the broken glass I cleaned up next to the ramp. Please do a better job!

Campsites were a little tight, bathroom showers were small overall staff was very friendly.

Easy check in, close to activities. Facilities could use a little updating but comfortable and great stop for the night. We would stay again.

Older bathroom facilities. Showers heads were abnormaly low. Locks on the bathroom facilities were a pain to remember. Alot of highway noise. Undeveloped dirt road directly behind us created a lot of dirt in our site. Raised tent pads were too small. Almost ever tent site wasn't able to place tents on pad.

First off, the people working here are VERY NICE, but the site itself is just OK. It's right off the 89, across from a gas station and down the street from shopping. Convenient, but you don't much of a camping vibe. LOTS of activities for kids. Bathrooms not centrally located. Campers were quiet at night. Can't beat that!

Fat man’s loop is directly behind the campground. For this old body it was a moderate difficulty while younger folks probably call it easy. The washer/dryer was easy to use. The tent site was clean and bathroom facilities. Quite windy the first nite so my tent flaps kept beating against the main tent. Next nite I might have got used to it cause I don’t remember hearing anything.

Office staff were outstanding! Campground needs major improvements as it is all dirt! Upgrade by putting gravel or asphalt down in spaces. Campground would be there if it rains. Dirt unacceptable when compared to other KOAs we’ve stayed at.

This was a little bit of a last-minute stay and it was so worth it! The cabin was clean and the staff was nice and helpful. The best part was the extra activities they offered! Our whole family loved the outdoor games. They also had BINGO and Julia was so fun! She even joined us for a game! They had a candy scavenger hunt at night that was a big hit for our kids as well.

Great! Hotter and windier than we knew, never having been to Flagstaff before. The KOA is nice, and the highlight of our stay was the hike up Mt. Elden.

The employees were great, bathrooms and other areas were cleaned and well maintained. We really enjoyed our stay and our space. The only part I would habe changed was all the night traffic noise from the highway. Lots of sirens and loud noises but they can't do anything about that.

Good location, quiet in the back away from road. Close to the Maverick, groceries and other shopping.

Quick one night stay. Campgrounds are taken care of. Everything was tidy. Lots of people and the place was popping. Bathrooms are a bit crowded but clean. Would definitely stay again iif I’m in the area.

This was our maiden voyage/trip in our new 5th wheel. We enjoyed our stay at this KOA. Clean park, friendly staff and all the amenities you could need. We would stay again.

Nice staff. Roads too narrow for bigger RVs. Overall this KOA needs a face-lift.

The KOA was nice and tons of people were camping. Our spot was a pull through it was pretty tight to pull into I couldn't swing wide since there was a truck parked blocking me. If you have kids I would recommend to stop and camp they have a bouncy spot that the kids love to play in.

At almost 7000 feet in elevation, it is a great location for summer. Lots of pine trees for shade and to contend with with for large RVs. The campground is situated on a slope, so most RV sites are not level (due to years of use/erosion. Roads are potholed blacktop. Overall, the campground needs site leveling, road repairs, and basic maintenance. The pull-through site we had had a nice patio area made with paver stones and included a nice table and chairs. Located next to hiking/mountain biking trails. Also has a playground and a bounce pillow for the kids.
