There’s nothing like the smell of a pine forest or a campfire. Early morning sunrise on the mountains. This park is in one of the best locations ever. The camp is clean, comfortable, and friendly. It’s close to Flagstaff and lots of hiking trails. We will look for reasons to return and camp there.

I enjoy staying at Flagstaff KOA. The location is handy to shopping and to trails on Mt. Elden. The staff has always been friendly and willing to work with the campers.

We came for all the Halloween festivities listed on the website to change up Halloween some. I’d imagine they didn’t do them all because there were enough kids but overall it was a nice stay.

Staff was extraordinary. Also, we loved that there is a State or National Forest that borders the park as that was excellent for our GSD. The park is an older one and could use some TLC. Roads could be better; sites are very close together. Overall, it is a great overnight park. Get an upgraded site for longer stays.

We have stayed at KOA across the country. I would say this one is closer to a Journey style. The roads are very tight. The spots are not level. Staff was friendly. I wouldn't stay here again for a few reasons, mainly the roads but also the price range for the area. It was the highest priced of any KOA we have stayed at and It is a tad noisy.

Very nice KOA! Outstanding personnel. The “premium” site I was on left a little to be desired. No where close to being level and had water damage to it. The patio had a large stump basically in the middle of it (???). I brought the site to the attention of the counter person (Cat). They made it right for me with a discount. Very nice touch!!! Great location. Clean bathhouse. Very clean campgro

Beautiful KOA in a Ponderosa pine forest. It smells amazing, the gift shop is well stocked, 2 large gated dog runs, fire pits, picnic tables, walking trails. Most sites are not level and expensive for a KOA.

We enjoyed our stay, the staff were really great! There's so much to do and see in the area. Work is needed on the roads. Some are narrow and/or rutted.

This park needs some serious updating of roads that are falling apart and sites that are rough, ungraded, minimal gravel with no landscaping.

Extra large spaces with privacy fence lots of trees, got the patio site with fire pit absolutely amazing

This KOA may have been great in the 80s. The roadways are in disrepair and are very tight. Not at all big rig friendly. I made my reservation by phone and paid $108.05 for a premium pull through site. The site was so tight I had to unhook the car to get out. The Flagstaff KOA is a very poor representation for KOA overall.

It was a nice place to stay. The restrooms & showers could use an update. But would definitely stay there again.

I’m still giving you the best ratings even though we, in person, made a 5 night reservation, but got the reminder email saying 4 nights AND we reserved certain spots, only to find out when we got there that the sites were given away. Not cool.

Although the campground is close to all the things offered in the Flagstaff area, there seems to be an issue with the GPS pin which told us to turn the street before the actual turn and this is NOT a big rig friendly campsite. Are there big rigs there, yes, but the spaces are narrow. And the spaces ARE VERY UNLEVEL.

First time staying with dogs and were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the two dog parks. Poop bags were strategically placed around the campground. Thank you

With easy access and a spacious wooded location, this KOA has many amenities for campers to enjoy.

This KOA is a little on the pricey side, but our site did include both water and electric hookups. While it may cost more than some other campgrounds in the area, the location is extremely convenient. It's close to shopping, restaurants, fuel, and many of Northern Arizona's top attractions. Flagstaff makes an excellent base camp for exploring the region, including the Grand Canyon and other nearby destinations. The campground is clean, well-maintained, and easy to access. Overall, the convenience and location help justify the higher price, and we would stay here again when visiting the area.

We were traveling in an RV with our two standard poodles just passing thru. I was impressed with the dog parks, yes two of them. And the fact that you can hike the trails right out the back of the park. Everything else was pretty standard koa, staff friendly, nice playground including a jumping mat. We will come again
