staff is top-notch a solid 10! The owners are Hands-On, the grounds are perfectly manicured! The location in my opinion is perfect easy access from the interstate and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The only problem we had, is when we arrived they put us on a site that was not the site that we picked out, we did not lock it in, which means another $25. This aggravates me tremendously, this is wrong!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

When making your reservation, we have the option to "select my site" it's a one time fee. For $19 to get the site locked in, so no other guest can select the site that you want.

This PARTICULAR KOA Journey is a FABULOUS Place to stay! Cabins are clean and well maintained. Never had an issue and we LOVED the people that worked there! Put this down as a DEFINITE place to stay!

We had never been to Fancy Gap but we enjoyed it. The staff was great. We enjoyed riding the Parkway and eating at the local restaurants.

The staff is the best of any campground around. Everyone is always so friendly and helpful. We called to have ice delivered and it was delivered to our site within 5 minutes. Customer service is a high priority for them and it shows. This is why we continue to come to Fancy Gap KOA and is one of if not our favorite campgrounds.

I stayed for Seven Nights and enjoyed every one of them. Everyone there was very cordial and friendly and helpful. The grounds were kept up perfectly. The only problem was the internet and the TV were not working that good. Highly recommend

Oh my, I am so sorry, at no time was our cable out...please while you are on site, let us know if you are having issues, our WIFI is not connected to our cable, looks like you enjoyed all that nature had to offer.

Place was clean, staff friendly & polite, great for families but the wifi was was non existence. We were told that they were working on the issue & I also understand that if there is no cell tower near the wifi is going to be bad. I think is better that is not offer at all in order for people not to have any expectations. Just provide cable but no wifi.

Thank you for understanding the WIFI was out of our control, Century Link has ordered the part that went bad and they are working to get us up and running, like everything, it just takes time. If Verizon is you cell carrier you are golden, that is what works best here. Dave

Great campground in Virginia mountains. Clean restrooms and showers. Very friendly staff. Lots to do in campground as well as in area. Most sites level. Stayed in basic cabin. Very nice. Will go back!

What a great park! We were only passing through for one night, but we left wishing we could stay longer! Incredibly friendly staff, immaculately clean bathrooms, great pool area, yard games, clubhouse area, and adorable camp store. Spacious pull through site! Food delivery to your site! The kids loved the playground. Nice dog park.

We were greeted at the office entry as drove in. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We used Fancy Gap KOA as our base camp for exploring the area. The ice cream social event was wonderful! We will stay here again when ever we are vacationing in the area.

We were just coming through overnight but would like to stay here again. We were greeted with a very sweet host who came out to the RV as we were pulling in. She had all of our paperwork and instruction ready to go. We were then escorted to our campsite by the host. The customer service was off the chart! The campsite was beautiful with a lot to do on the property.

Super nice campgound and the staff are amazing. They go out of their way to make your staff safe, happy and easy. They will deliver just about anything to your campsite so you don't have to go get it, even BBQ from their shop! The BBQ was amazing and they meet you outside so you don't even have to leave your camper while checking in! Overall, it was an amazing stay and we will be back!

KOA Team met me as I drove up. I didn't even have to get out of my car. I was escorted to my tent site by a team member on a golf cart as I followed in my car. He was very courteous. The camp was very clean. The bathrooms were very clean and well equipped. I love that they were completely private. I ordered dinner from the camp office and they brought it to me. How wonderful!

Only stayed here overnight as we traveled north, but would definitely stay here again in the future. This was one of the nicest, well-kept, accomodating parks we have ever visited. Perfect location at the gateway of the Blue Ridge Parkway, with lots of amenities at the park as well as nearby. Double Thumbs up!!

We visited the KOA in Fancy Gap, VA. The mountain air was nice! It’s a small campground, has plenty of trees, and very kind workers that go above and beyond to make sure you’re taken care of. They even deliver food to your campsite!We got to swim in the pool, mined for gems, fished, played on the playground, cooked over the fire, ate ice cream, and slept in a tiny cabin. Perfect family place!

Very well kept campground. Always willing to help those staying. Due to recent heavy rain, our site had mud on it he patio. We asked for a shovel to remove the mud. Staff went above and beyond by washing the mud off the patio and then placing crushed rock around the edges. One of my favorite places to stay.

Great location, just off Blue Ridge Parkway. Friendly owners and staff! One of our favorite places to stay in Fancy Gap. They offer BBQ ,PIZZA & snacks like ice cream and chips delivered to your cabin or camp sight at a very fair price!
