What an awesome experience! It was refreshing and relaxing. We can't say enough great things about the owners and the staff. We have now found a KOA favorite and will be back in the near future. Thank you for your hard work and making our trip so enjoyable. Keep up the good work! By the way, David's barbecue/smoker skills are out of this world!

We felt welcomed. Enjoyed all the plants, flowers and artwork. Lots to do for kids. The birds singing was amazing. Just would like to see a bit more space between the campsites we occupied.

The campground was beautiful and the facilities were keep exceptionally clean. The staff was friendly and interacted with the campers. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I will be back. Thank you for caring about providing quality service.

We stayed for only 2 nights at a FHU pull thru with a patio only because that is all that was available for our quick trip through. Registration was a bit put offish as they didn’t let you get out of the vehicle and registered you through your car window. Other than that the stay was great. Sites are not very level with hilly grounds of different tiered levels. Been there 2x and would go back.

Our curb site check-in is a courtesy to our guests. We know getting to your site is your top priority. Please do not take offense. Come on back when you are all set up. We are open until 8pm most nights.

Dave and Angie run the best KOA on the planet!! Very clean, very pretty (all the flowers and decorations are awesome!), Great food (and they deliver to your campsite!!), lots of things to do for all ages! Just Perfect!! Wish we could come up every weekend!!!

Very clean campground. Staff friendly and helpful. The inbound process was very quick. Prices in the store were very competitive with outside stores. All around great camping experience.

Nicest camp ground that we have stayed at. The staff was very helpful and curtious. The bath house was very clean and had everything you need. Loved it!

I try to avoid back in sites, but the guide who helped us knew what he was doing so it was easy, quick and painless. Also, be sure to try the brisket!

Beautiful campground, great amenities, especially the bath house & showers. Very peaceful �� not much to do in the general vicinity but plenty of things close by. We did lots of hiking & had dinner at a nearby winery about 40 minutes away. But if you just want to hang at the campground, there's plenty to do there...pool, games, pond for fishing, playground for kids. Highly recommend this pla

KOA Fancy Gap is an amazing camp site. The staff are great. Some of them even play water gun fights with my kids. Made my kids day!!!

Sites need to be leveled better and the sewer lines went up hill hard to drain sewage. No tv reception and the cable did not work. I will not be visiting again

We recognize camping in the mountains isn't for everyone. Our sewer lines are a mystery to folks because they can't imagine the amount of rain fall that makes large rocks clog or sewer system. We have clear tv channels great internet. We live on site and use the TV and WIFI. Please ask for help!

Nice stay but do not follow KOA directions in it's a narrow winding road in the back way instead I should have followed gps and google maps to go in on hwy 52. Even the host said to go back on 52 leaving not KOA directions

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Sometimes that older GPS will take you up a mountain and you will need a tow truck to be rescued. Please follow our signs. You will be much safer. We are only 1 mile off interstate 77 and 100 yards off Blue Ridge Parkway.

Great weather with cool breezes and many shaded sites for comfortable summer stays. Everything was spotless. Excellent camp store and lots of ideas for area activities. We will be back!

Angie and the staff were excellent. They have site delivery of food from their kitchen and store for free. We had a small trailer which they let us store for free. All of the buildings were exceptionally clean. The bathrooms are large and also very clean.

I felt like I was overcharged. Reservations were made a year ago with one price yet when I arrived, my site was changed and the price changed but I was never notified of the difference in the price of each site. Had I known the price was going to be so significantly different, I would have never asked for my original site to be changed.

Our first time staying there but it won't be our last. The kampground has tons of character and the staff is wonderful !! WiFi speed could be better, but that was the only negative I can think of.

Charming!!!!! We had a wonderful stay( only 1 night in one of the little cabins) it was so cute! Clean! Having the little Bathroom was great! My 13 year old son and husband used the showers and they said they were so clean, in fact my 13 year old raved about how nice they were!!! The campground was just lovely with flowers and charming decor. Great pool too! We will be back!!

We had another delightful stay at "our little cabin" in the woods. We always meet nice campers and share adventures. We always enjoy conversations with the staff; we always participate in the bbq menu; we always support the ice cream social; we always plan on coming back. Thanks a bunch. See you again in October!

Accueil TRÈS chaleureux. Terrain petit. AUCUN INTERNET WI-FI COMME ANNONCÉ. Toilette extra propre. Tranquille aucune circulation sauf personnel aux 10 minutes relevant continuellement la poussière.

Not only is the campground beautifully maintained, the staff are outstanding!! We felt like we were the most important guests they had while we were there and everyone was so friendly . This is becoming a yearly trip for our family and I couldn’t think of a better place to be. Thanks for all that you do see you next year.

Wonderful campground! We were the first campers of 2024, and we won a small prize. We had a wonderful view, it was very quiet and off the beaten path. Lots of activities for children and cute cottages for folks to stay in. Our site was nice and level and we had no problems with power or water. Definitely recommend this KOA and we hope to return in the future!

By far the best campground in the area. There are plenty of activities for the young and young at heart. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is enjoying their stay.
