This RV Park is fantastic. The folks that work there are wonderful. Lots of trees & cool summertime temps. We have stayed here many times, hauling our RV trailer north from Jacksonville, FL. The proximity to the BlueRidge Parkway & the BRP Music Center is fantastic.

Love this campground . Enjoyed the great customer service . Ordered pizza and it was delivered quickly. Nice when you arrive and don't want to cook but have something to eat right away. Love the new addition to the pool area with the extra lounge area. Look forward to our next trip there. Thanks Dellinger's

We have stayed here twice! The staff is always so nice! The first time we stayed, they gave Welcome bags with KOA Koozies and dog treats…. We missed that this time… but it was still a good stay!

Very expensive. We don’t pay these rates camping oceanfront at the beach. Felt like we were camping in a dog kennel. Several campers had 3 and 4 dogs that were kept in portable fencing and barked constantly. I was hesitant to complain to the office but when I did it didn’t make a difference. Fancy gap KOA is not the place for a relaxing trip to the mountains.

We camped (tent) at site 81 at the Fancy Gap KOA. The site was perfect with good overhead tree cover and room for a 4-person tent and parking vehicle. Will certainly be back!

By far one of my favorite KOAs. The campground is not only clean, but it is cute. The grounds are immaculately maintained with adorable trinkets throughout. The staff and owners are one big family

There for only one night as we drove back to Ontario from Myrtle Beach. We had an amazing BBQ supper from Dave's BBQ, and the campground was super family oriented and easy to relax in. A+

We stayed in a site with a dog patio - loved this. Recommend not putting the fire pit in there as the dog jumped in and snuggled into the cold ashes. She enjoyed it. Picnic table would have been nice in that area as the cooking grill was in there on the ground. Nice state park atmosphere with amenities! Will come again next year and stay longer.

Good location for exploring Blue Ridge Parkway. Friendly staff, well stocked store. We stopped for one night, didn’t unhitch, terraced site on mountain side, not level. We expect Journeys to have level sites.

This KOA was one of the nicest campgrounds we have stayed in. The restrooms/showers were always clean, the staff were very helpful and the BBQ meal available for purchase was delicious and delivery of your order was free. The entire campground was quiet and well maintained. Definitely highly recommend this KOA campground!

Love the Fancy Gap KOA! By far my favorite campground; I always reserve the sites with a dog yard and love the space for my pups. Bathhouse is very clean and tidy.

Gorgeous location, well-maintained, and all the sites had a very cozy traditional campground feel. I will always come back here for a summer getaway. It’s obvious that the owners and staff all take pride in this place and making the experience great for each camper. See you again soon!

We like the area. I do think the campground as a whole needs more gravel. Our site was muddy due to rain. We did ask for some and they immediately brought some out in a spot where we had to hook up.

We stop here every year on our way to Myrtle Beach. We enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and the super friendly and helpful staff. They are all about customer service and making sure your stay is perfect.

Close to home first time outing with the new camper. Pleasant reception and help with lining up the camper in the site. Beautiful facilities and area. Ordered food one night and they delivered it to the site. Awesome service, awesome time.

Great service, good food, especially the BBQ. Sites are a bit tight and close together but considering the terrain that's not a big negative. We would stay there again if in the area.

Once again an excellent stay. Was not sure we were going to get a cabin this time as they were all booked, last minute cancellation and got the deluxe cabin #5. WOW amazing cabin, clean and plenty of room and love the two decks. Staff was excellent as usual. Still our favorite KOA so far. Not sure our travels bring us back this way in 2023 but next near for sure

First time at this KOA but we really enjoyed our stay. My daughter enjoyed the pool and the game room. They even will take you up to you campsite from the pool or store since it can be quite a walk depending on which tier you happen to be camped on. With my bad leg that was a great for me. Luckily we had all of our supplies since the camp store is a bit limited on groceries and such.

Everyone was so friendly, attentive and super helpful! We loved everything about our stay and can’t wait to return this coming Thursday. Water pressure was fantastic, shower houses were clean and doggy park was well maintained.

Me and my husband had a great time. The park is beautiful clean fun environment. Office staff was amazing happy helpful. However, after finding out we’re married men some of the outdoor maint staff were some rude; wouldn’t acknowledge us driving by on golf carts things like that. All In all we had a good time

Everyone was very friendly all waved when they went by or said hello while walking by. Restrooms were very clean and kept that way ,also washers and dryers in laundry were very clean. , Not always the case in campgrounds. some campers wash their dogs towels or bedding and you end up with dog hair on all your clothes .Nice store also.

Great location, just off Blue Ridge Parkway. Friendly owners and staff! One of our favorite places to stay in Fancy Gap. They offer BBQ ,PIZZA & snacks like ice cream and chips delivered to your cabin or camp sight at a very fair price!

Wonderful campground! We were the first campers of 2024, and we won a small prize. We had a wonderful view, it was very quiet and off the beaten path. Lots of activities for children and cute cottages for folks to stay in. Our site was nice and level and we had no problems with power or water. Definitely recommend this KOA and we hope to return in the future!
