Cherokee/Great Smokey Mountains Koa where the fun never stops! From fishing the Raven Fork River to making Tye die shirts you will be sure to have a great time.
Starting Memorial day weekend through Labor day weekend you will find your weekly funfinder at the registration desk or just ask a team member in yellow!
We take pride in making it GREAT for each and everyone of our camping families!
When the sun goes down, campfire time begins. Gather around the fire pit and get acquainted with fellow campers. Campfire time promises all the classics: toasting marshmallows, eating s'mores, belting out camp tunes during sing-a-longs. We've even been known to swap a scary story or two! (please note that this is in season only).
Cherokee KOA's Recreation Director keeps new and exciting programs in the lineup that will make you never want to leave the campground. Keep checking our events page for updates.
Bring your chair or a blanket and head on over for a family friendly movie at our giant outdoor screen. Refreshments will be offered for a fee. This activity is weather permitting and offered from May 15 through Labor day weekend. For your movie list please see your funfinder at the registration desk.
Bring a piece of your trip home with you: make a t-shirt during craft hour. Your tie-dyed t-shirt will be a wearable memento from your vacation. With a demonstration and all supplies provided, this retro activity satisfies campers of all ages. Remember, there is no right or wrong way to tie dye! (please note that this is in season only).
The Raven Fork River flows along one side of the campground with miles of excellent stream fishing. If you prefer pond fishing, you'll find three Tribal-owned trout ponds framing the west boundary of Cherokee KOA.
Join us the weekend of July 18-21 as we celebrate Christmas in July. Special guest appearance by Santa himself! Site decorating contest, Ugly sweater party with music and plenty of fun for all.
