The deluxe cottage was great, with such a fantastic view! The staff members were all friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again!

Overall it was a good experience with access to the beach and the cabin itself was nice. But the mud and standing water around our cabin was excessive and ridiculous. We couldn't even get into the cabin without having our feet in ankle deep water and couldn't use our fire ring until the 3rd night of our stay. You can't control weather but actions can be taken to minimize flooding like that

The cabin we stayed in was nice but bunkbeds should have had fitted sheets not flat sheets. The hot water did not stay hot long enough to take a short shower. My son had to move his camper 2 times even though he was staying for a week. Campgrounds are rundown needs a lot of repairs. Staff was nice but need to keep better track of open spaces and needed repairs. Pool was very cold should be heated.

We enjoyed our stay at a deluxe cabin in the OBX. It was comfortable and clean. The pool was open but it is not heated. The kids had a lot of fun on the jumping pillow so they didn't even miss the pool. The staff was friendly and helpful with the area. We would definitely stay here again!

Disappointed that I couldn’t get hot water in the glamping tent and when we said something about this nothing was done. Over tent cleanliness was eh I would have expected it to be cleaner. Hot tub was filthy. Arcade games- like only 3 actually worked. Overall disappointed.

We had a few issues. We did not have hot water for a few days, however, the issue was resolved. The wifi was spotty and not able to connect except a few times. We thought the Cape Hatteras campground cultivated a family environment. Much to our disappointed we had swingers post their flag at their driveway entrance. It was right in front of the children's playground and activities.

We stayed here before, this time staying in the deluxe cabin. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The cabin was perfect for the 2 of us and our pet. It was a relaxing vacation that was well enjoyed.

This location has deteriorated over the past 5 or so years, and this was likely our last stay. The hot tub did not function properly the 3 days we stayed (not just routine maintenance day) and water was terribly cloudy. The bathroom sink in cabin was clogged and the plumbing underneath was leaking so bad that I had to use one of their large plastic bowls to catch water when we did have to use it.

This place was great, met and exceeded our expectations. Loved being so close to the ocean and the sound, the amenities provided were perfect, and we can't wait to come back!

I love this place I have been there many times. The staff are friendly, and it’s usually calm. I got there this time on October 6th, so I wasn’t expecting very many people. However it was very busy. My neighbors were playing music late and had their kids out playing until 2:00am and someone road a golf cart playing really loud music. The camp staff told them to stop and an hour later they did.

My recent stay at the Ocean Front Cape Hatteras KOA was nothing short of magical. This campground truly embodies the essence of a coastal paradise.The amenities and facilities were top-notch. The spacious and well-maintained campsites provided ample space for everyone. The friendly and helpful staff went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met, making me feel welcomed and appreciated.

Our cabin had cockroaches in it. was moved to second cabin also had cockroaches in it. Had to stay in our family RV traveling with us for a night till another cabin came available without roaches. Hot tub did not work. Staff was nice though.

We didn’t realize how small the cabin would be for 4 adults and 1 kid. Not their fault and none of the larger cabins were available. Had an on going problem with ants which was address twice. Had to leave a day early due to a family emergency and did not hear anything about a possible refund of our last night which we had pre paid. The staff was all so very helpful and kind during our time there

My 14 yr old border collie was attacked on the front porch of our camping cabin by a pit bull. When the office was notified, they were very nonchalant & acted like I was being dramatic. I waited 2 hours for someone to come check on us.The man with his dog left before authorities arrived. We checked out a day early to get my dog medical care. This was a very traumatic experience w/ callous people

Enjoyed the cooler weather in late September, lucky missed the storms. The camp grounds are well maintained and easy to navigate. Staff was polite and friendly. Tina’s cafe was a nice surprise. Higher than expected quality of ingredients and skillfully prepared. Only issues was the ants in our cabin: just part of the great outdoors!

It was pretty good however, I didn’t like having to pay extra for bedding in a cabin. And I wasn’t advised the outdoor bar is only open on Fridays & Saturdays.

We had an awesome time and are eager to return! The cabin had everything we needed & the staff at the front desk was so helpful with tracking down a remote for the living area tv. The live music at night was great & the property has a convenient beach access path. Only negative really was the hot tub jets weren't working but after a long drive it was awesome just to soak in the heated water.

I enjoyed the beach. My cabin really needed work. The door would only close if locked and still had a gap so bugs could get in. Te ac unit was very difficult to adjust. I had to stand on the bed and stretch. The bed was very wobbly and needed repairs. Susan in the office was very nice and helpful.

One of the friendliest, cleanest and most fun KOA’s I’ve ever stayed at. Ocean on one side and bay on the other with a great place to launch a kayak. Very organized staff who were so helpful. Loved it her and most important lots of love for our dogs with multiple areas to let the dogs play.

I love the location and the people that work there. The grounds are always kept clean as well as the pool. We’ve always camped so staying in a room was a first for us. The room and kitchen area are great sized. The few things I’d change are the floors were filthy like they hadn’t been mopped and there was a broom but a stick vac would be better and the hot tub jets never worked.

Cabin was filthy, covered in dog hair (we do not have a dog) all over our socks, clothes, and bag’s immediately. Fridge was gross, surfaces were not wiped or cleaned. Crumbs everywhere. Dirty linen on the beds, trash stuffed in the sofa pull out. Legitimately roach infested. I wanted to crawl out of my skin the entire time. Been there before, never going back. 0/10. Id rather sleep on the ground

There was a problem with the cabin that I was assigned. The campground listened to our concerns and switched us to another cabin which was an upgrade from what we had rented. Then the new cabin had not been cleaned and the campground immediately took care of the situation. Very pleased with how everything was handled.

First off I would recommend this KOA to all, I see some of the bad reviews and totally disagree. The spots are very level, the staff is caring and amazing, the bath houses are super clean, the beach area is awesome, the sunsets ( waking distance) across the street are to die for and the wifi actually does work but don't expect high speed, use your own hotspot. This KOA is very centrally located and within driving distance to all of the outer banks attractions. Thank you KOA staff for making our visit amazing and our pups also thank you for the very nice large dog parks, woof.
