Stayed in the deluxe cabin. Very nice clean and being able to bring the pup was a nice add. Staff was wonderful! Something to do for all ages! Didn’t travel with kids but you could tell by all the smiles there will be many five star reviews.

The cabin that we stayed in was cute and we enjoyed our stay. The only complaint that I have was that it had a strong mildew smell. The staff was on point. There were activities scheduled every day and I love that they send a text every morning with the schedule. Very nice pool snd bath house. I will definitely be back!

Our place wasn’t ready until 40 minutes after check in which made it difficult since we had dogs which are not allowed in certain places at the park. But other than it was very nice and we loved the karaoke.

We loved our stay here. Everything was perfect. The bathrooms and club house areas were extremely clean and there was plenty for the kids to do.

My family has stayed here for the last 15 years. Kids were out throwing rocks around and hit the rear window of my vehicle which caused it to shatter and they ran off. Every year the price increases exponentially, but there aren’t upgrades to the campground since last year. The cabin floor is squishy in places due to rotten wood covered up with linoleum and the air conditioner leakage inside

The place was very small, not as clean as I expected. Kids room with no ac i had to buy a fan to push cold into there room. Only two chairs of the dining table can be used because of the place so small. I dont know why they called it deluxe. They charged me the hotel prices. The AC were so loud. They offered only two toilet papers and two garbage bags, i asked for it they never brought it. Not ag

We stayed in an ocean front cabin that had a great view, however, the cabin was disgusting (hair everywhere, old coffee in the cups on the shelf, bathroom smelled like pee, the shower was moldy, etc. The cabin is also in need of many major repairs and is a hazard. The floor was rotten in multiple areas, the pocket door leading to the bunks did not slide, and the air conditioner was comically loud.

We loved our stay! Perfect place to stay with kids! We had one issue, when checking out at the store one morning we heard an employee talking about us to another employee. That was really disappointing to see.

Tina’s Poolside Cafe was exceptional, only negative is it closed at 3. Campground itself was great! Perfect location, access to the ocean & the sound. Several restaurants up and down the coast. We stayed in the cabins, they were clean and had everything you need. My Father in Law stayed in the suites & he loved it.

We stayed for the weekend in a premium camping cabin (no bathroom). We enjoyed the amenities at the camp ground. My son especially enjoyed the pool and the jumping balloon pad. Being located in Rodanthe, the campground is in a good central location to visit the whole of the Outer Banks. Would definitely stay again!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The campground has plenty of activities with a very large pool, and hot tub that is well kept. We really enjoyed the Tiki Bar next to the pool. The best part is having access to the beach from inside the campground.

This was our first visit with a KOA. My family was so impressed and happy with all of the events & accommodations. Despite the rain, my kids want to know when we are coming back! KOA OBX Rodanthe is going to become an annual tradition.

Stay was great love all the activities, how close the beach is, all the amenities. We stayed in hotel floors were sticky, the ceiling fans caked with dust. Could be cleaner. I’d suggest a quarterly deep clean of all rooms.

Arrived after hours and the key was not left in the box. It was 8:10 so we were able to locate an employee. Visited the bathhouse around 9:00. I fell and hit ground missed bottom step. I was holding the rail. I feel like there was not appropriate lighting. In a lot of pain during night. Packed up in morning and went to urgent care. Office refunded 3 of our 4 night stay.

Deluxe cabin we stayed in was just ok. The bathroom smelled like urine and one of the totes that stored bedding had bugs inside. Other than that..it was ok. For the price we payed no one should have any of those issues or concerns.

Bathrooms rarely had toliet paper and we had no knowledge that the ramp beach acesss with less stairs was closed upon check in.

Rude staff! I asked for clean towels and was told that I'd need to wait three days, with tons of attitude, like I'd done something wrong. I insisted and asked for 4 towels for my family, instead, I received 2. Another guest told me a staff member cursed under her breath when she asked for toilet paper. All signs say to simply call for towels. For $350 a night, can I have toilet paper & a towel?

It was great! Only complaint was in our cabin one of the air conditioning units and fan went off on the middle of the night, each night. Then the room was quite warm for our kids. It was looked at by maintenance but still happened cabin 517. But an overall wonderful experience!

Me and a buddy rented a primitive cabin for a week and it actually had a fridge in it this time which was a nice upgrade, as I have stayed at this KOA in most of its lodgings including many of the primitive cabins. The air conditioners could stand to be upgraded in these units imo but everything was great.

This was the first year I haven’t given five stars. It is solely based on the fact that the bathrooms were not kept up properly. I never saw anyone cleaning them and there was frequently no toilet paper. Otherwise, our stay was excellent.

I love the Cape Hatteras KOA. I’ve stayed here multiple times over the years and haven’t had a bad experience. I will say this time it was inconvenient to have the ramp entrance to the beach shut down. Having to carry all our stuff up and down the stairs wasn’t ideal. Also this time, we stayed in a cabin and the AC had trouble keeping up with the heat and humidity making it hard to get good

First time camping for our grandkids 6 and 9 years old. We only stayed for 2 days as we were headed to Okracoke. The kids wished we stayed there longer. They loved the activities, the pool, the golf cart. My granddaughter said when we camp again, we can only stay at KOA campgrounds! Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Wonderful weekend stay in cabin 503! Close to the bathhouse which was immaculate and a short walk to the ocean. This is our 2nd year staying here & we’ll be back in 2027!!

Excellent location with great beach access and sound side access. Super family friendly. Good staff. Fast internet (rated 85 MBPS). Lots to do. We can't wait to come back

Great family campground. Decent accommodations from tent sites, cabins, to rv sites. Large swimming pool with hot tub, and sauna. Has a playground and a large inground jumping pillow. Pet friendly with dog washing stations next to the beach area and they have a dog park. Good memories are always made here!

We rented a cabin which was an excellent way to be steps from the beach on a budget. The best party of this campground is the "train" which gives kids rides through the campground blasting music and spraying them with water. The pool and convenience to the ocean were also incredible. Camp sites are very close together and lack the privacy other places have to offer.
