We had a couple issues however addressed by Ashley the best she could once she knew about them. Glamping super fun. Little cafe had excellent food and service.

Our cabin had the pocket door fall off the tracks multiple times, causing us to get stranded in the bathroom. The tvs cable did not work in any rooms. The main door had difficulties locking. And the wifi did not work.

2 notes in rustic cabin. A/C was mounted 7 ft off floor. Could not adjust temperature because ther was no remote. Door to cabin wouldn't open all the way, dragging on floor. Door didn't close tight allowing insects in. Cabin did have fridge that was clean and worked great. Cabin was clean upon arrival. Some roads had potholes and were more rough than trip last July (2024). NO BEACH.

Great location and even better people. Only thing was in our cabin, one of the bunk bed mattresses had a foul odor. We know the staff cleaned, but we did also and 20 mins after we cleaned it, the smell returned. To the point we had to shut door and not use the room. The rest of the cabin, including that room(except mattress) was very nice and clean. Thank you

We stayed in one of the houses, it was perfect! Everything was clean, and it was so much fun! The whole campground is clean, and it was a short walk over to the beach- we really enjoyed our stay, and appreciated the pet friendliness!

Very comfortable accommodations. Our cottage was clean, pool was great and hot tub too. Only complaint was the bathtub. It must have needed repair at one time a poor repair was completed.

Awesome crew at this KOA-not our first time here either I honestly can’t say enough good about Jason and Betsy! They kept the kids happy one activity after another !! The activities along with pool and ocean gave the whole family a well rounded vacation Looking forward to the next stay!!

We love the Cape Hatteras/Outer Banks KOA, always a good time! Outstanding Easter activities all weekend. All staff were great, super kind, and tireless, especially Ashley, Jason, and Heather! They made us feel like family and we can't wait to go back soon!

Everything was wonderful except the portal bathroom. They were dirty all the time, and usually no toilet paper. Aside from that I like the place.

Such a beautiful place. We hunted for seashells, went fishing and enjoyed the beaches. Had an amazing time the staff are amazing at the KOA. Can’t wait to visit again!

Our family enjoys staying at the KOA Cape Hatteras every April for Spring Break. We come down with other families to enjoy the local surf and beaches. The KOA offers wonderful amenities for our family for a long weekend getaway.

My family and I had a blast during our stay, the campground has plenty to do for kids and we rarely left as there was no need. The campground did seem a bit understaffed though and we had an issue with our shower faucet and bathroom sink faucet that required maintenance come out, it took a bit of back and forth with the front desk which was a bit of a distraction on vacation.

Awesome place, we loved our time there. It would have been nice to be given more than 2 coffee K-cups for a 2 night stay and being told to buy more from the KOA shop. But otherwise was a great weekend!

We had a good stay in the deluxe cabin. Our stove top only had 1 burner working, the tub handle was very loose and the faucet in the bathroom splattered all over. Other than that, it was good!

Glamping tent was clean and parking was good next to the tent. High winds (30+mph) caused terrible banging and clanging of tent and structural steel- we got no sleep. We had to leave early rather than face another sleepless night.! No WiFi and dog owners allowing dogs to defacate without cleaning up after them �Ϫ Site maintenance & repair team very friendly and efficient- really appreciate them

staff was exceptional. Hot tub and southeast bath house were clean and in good working condition. We continue to use the cabins because they are affordable - however they do seem like they are falling apart.

Our stay was wonderful! We normally tent camp, but stayed in a deluxe cabin. The staff was accommodating and always working hard to keep the facilities maintained and the campers happy. The location on Hatteras Island was perfect. Even during the off season (March 28th-April 4th) we were always busy. The pool, hot tub and amenities were amazing. All 5 of us, plus our dog, give it 5 stars.

We stayed two nights in the Lodge. Our room was very clean and we had plenty of room. The kitchen was adequately furnished with cooking supplies. Staff was very friendly and extremely pleasant at check-in and check-out. Store was nicely furnished with goodies!

Staff and facilities are great. Only complaint is, we were given in one the cabins up front by the road. Being 25 yards from the main highway on the island, it was nonstop traffic all day and all night and not very peaceful.

This is one of my favorite KOA's to stay at! Perfectly located where you can access the beach steps from your campsite. Amenities were updated and things were very clean. Only downside was the main bathhouse construction isn't finished yet, so the family bathhouse got a little busy. Otherwise, great experience and I will be staying here again the next time I'm in OBX.

Stayed here for three nights. The location was great. Pool awesome and the staff super friendly. We stayed for the Easter weekend and they had a lot activities for our kids. They had a blast. The only thing I saw better at a Koa campground yet, were the sites itself. There were not much space between the regular sites and no vegetation. But We will definitely come back! Highly recommended is the sunrise at the beach.
