Nice campground and really close to everything in the area. We had a family emergency and had to leave a few hours after setting up, leaving our camper on our site, and returning on our departure day, so we didn't spend much time on site, but did speak to a few of the staff and they were very nice and the facility is clean and well kept. Several areas of camping types allowed a nice camper mix.

This is a pretty typical KOA Journey located about 4 miles out of town on a shaded hillside. The park is clean and well kept. The sites are not really level and are just dirt. We used all of the leveling blocks we had. The park was only 1/2 full so the WIFI worked ok. There is Verizon cell service. We did not use any facilities. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Wonderful stay! We were able to move in and out to visit the surrounding area with no hassles whatsoever. The staff was very accommodating and we enjoyed our stay immensely. Thanks somuch!

Only stayed overnight. Nice clean bathroom and shower. Campground had to turn off water due to overnight freeze. No cable ,weak Wi-Fi , No OTA Stations.

Loved the area, employees above and beyond helpful, first time there would have preferred a different site if I had been there before. Overall we will be back, enjoyed our stay.

Very relaxing atmosphere, clean facilities, friendly people, clean level sites, very affordable. I would highly recommend the Boone KOA to anybody!

We enjoyed our stay at this KOA. It was quite and relaxing. The only issues with the campsites is the very low water pressure, the Wi-Fi is terrible and no TV reception.

Pretty campground close to Boone and Blowing Rock. Lots of trees for shade in summer. Only issue that some people care about and others don't is the Wi-fi could be better (faster). Had issues connecting to websites. Otherwise, a great campground. Lots of cabins to rent for those with no RV.

Gorgeous view. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great location if you want to be off the grid. Sites are very close together and tight. We had difficulty maneuvering to exit. There was no cell service, Internet or digital TV reception.

This is our 3rd year and our cabin was wonderful! I love this place. Only complaint was the bathroom n at cabin 9 on the left side wouldn’t lock. Everyone was using the other side. I forgot to mention that to y’all. Sorry.

I had a great week as always in my previous 3 stays. Staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The campground is very pretty, especially this peak leaf time. It’s quiet at night and just 5-10 minutes from downtown Boone.

Very friendly staff. Nice easy access to site and area amenities. WiFi not great BUT I am in the WiFI business for parks and apartment complexes. You can not provide good service without a circuit provider. They will not currently run the circuit up the mountain. Until they do DSL is all you have. Not KOA's fault. BUT also I did have a friend test the T-Mobile Internet Gateway and it worked great!

We had a nice couple of days at the site. I recommend management periodically grade the camping trailer sites. I have a 17’ camper and my Uncle has a 28’ motor home, both of us had difficulty leveling. Mine is a manual method and his is auto leveler, he was unable to fully extend his levelers on the driver side because the grade was higher than the right side.

The facilities were clean. The night was quiet and the other guests very respectful. Firewood was too expensive though.

All but a few sites are very close together. This time we were in E1 and liked it. Just have to know the sites. We also rented a cabin for our daughter. It was exceptional. Very clean and well maintained (unlike Cherokee KOA). The staff was very pleasant and helpful.

Very good stay with you guys. Easy sites to get in and out. Really nice concrete/gravel with fire pits and table. Quiet. No experience with loud folks or music and campground was full. Close to Boone and other area attractions. Will be back.

Quiet time was not enforced. Tent next to us was playing music loudly until 1:30 AM- making it virtually impossible to rest until that time. Camping is supposed to be relaxing. I’ve been to numerous campgrounds- this was my first - and last- visit to a KOA.

We had a fantastic time during our recent stay at this campground. The facility was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, and it was professionally managed by Christina, who was absolutely amazing to work with. Her knowledge of the area allowed her to offer numerous recommendations for restaurants, hiking trails, and local attractions during our visit. Her friendly and kind nature went above and beyond, making our experience even more enjoyable. We wholeheartedly recommend this campground and eagerly anticipate our next visit. Christina is truly the best and excels at her job!
