Had a great time though our stay was brief. Hard to navigate the roads in the dark so we missed our tent site several times but in the end we made it. Thank you.

Sites were not super level and needed gravel needed to be added. The picnic tables need to be replaced. The bathrooms were great - large & clean.

Our tent site was on a slope which was frustrating especially considering nobody was on the site next to us which was flat.

Unfortunately someone did book that site and did not show up for it. If you every notice a different site you'd like more please let us know, we would've been happy to move you to a site that better suited your needs.

Staff are nice, campground is improving with amenities and new cabins but the bathrooms are still disgusting. There needs to be more frequent walk throughs and cleaning especially on game weekends.

Stayed three nights while attending a career fair and meetings pertaining to my business. Friendly staff. I like the gated entry. Bathrooms were clean. Doors were hard to open and one of them didn’t seem to lock.

There was a critter in the cabin.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Our basic log cabins are very rustic and located adjacent to several hundred acres of state game land. While we do our best to deter wild life, those older log cabins are not entirely sealed. I would recommend booking a deluxe cabin to avoid this in the future

It’s gotten even better since last time we stayed here. Facilities are clean, amenities are well maintained, and there was so much for my kids to both enjoy, even with a 5 year age gap. We’ll be back again!

Nice wide tent sites. Clean facilities. Lots to keep kids busy. Small pool for all the people. Some road noise at night but further back in grounds would lessen that. Convenient location.

Amazing staff and great location! When I got in, someone had unfortunately still been in the spot that I was assigned, however, staff quickly resolved it and got me into a different spot. Wish I had stayed more than one night so I could have hit up the pool and other amenities. 10/10.

Very nice campground. Clean restrooms. Awesome pool and bike trail for kids. The only negative was some of the driveways were washed out a bit from a very recent storm, but they were working to restore them while we were there.

Nice campsite and amenities. Pleasant staff. The check out time is very early for tent campers. There was a lot of garbage on the ground over the whole campground unfortunately. I picked up a small bag of it at our site alone. Also, the bathrooms were not well cleaned and often smelled of pot smoke.

Could not get our A/C to work, for some reason. Even with A/C turned off, every time I plugged the cord in the GFCI it tripped. We just decided to tough it out. The A/C worked fine when we got home.

Enjoyed all of the activities. Even the extras were fun and affordable. We had a tree branch fall on our easy-up canopy and the staff was helpful and quick to handle the whole thing.

Excellent experience. All in one bathrooms were clean and convenient. Amenities first rate. One of the top 10 best campgrounds in our opinion.

Quiet hours need to be better enforced please. There was a group of obnoxious families with kids in the Cabins loudly playing music and yelling past the 11PM. The tent sites with electric were also a bit too close to the roads. Perhaps move them back a bit if able. The bathrooms were very clean and private - a nice touch. Overall a fun experience.

Very polite and friendly staff!! Kept up with trash removal! Only negative was warm pool and splash pad not working Very clean grounds It was nice to have climate controlled bathhouses!!!

We only stayed one night. It was nice the tent row is nicely located. Check out is kind of early. I get it is comparable to a hotel stay and check out but at a hotel you don’t need to tear down your tent and gather everything. The splash pad was also not working during our stay. I understand those things cannot be controlled always, but it was my understanding that it was down for sometime.

We had a great stay at this campground. Every part of this campground was very clean and well maintained. We were there when it was very hot and we especially appreciated the beautiful pool. The campsites are spaced a nice distance apart. Our site had a light on a pole that was great to turn on in the evening. We will definitely be staying here again!

This was our first time and we’re already planning a return trip! The amenities were incredible for our 6 year old and she was busy day to night making friends and playing. I can’t say enough about how genuinely nice and pleasant each staff member we encountered was. The bathrooms were also very well maintained which isn’t something you always see at a campground. Well done!

The best camp on the trek from Tahoe to the East Coast! Staff answered my call just before 7pm and flagged me a perfect spot on the hill by the shower house. The amenities are bountiful and the site for my camper van was private and flat. I really did not want to leave! Camp host and staff were all so friendly and helpful! Great visit! We've never been to the KOA for Halloween before and I was super impressed. My kid had the time of his life with the bike trail, hayride, and jumping pillow. I also loved the clean (and warm!) bathrooms, and little outdoor kitchen for us tent campers. We'll definitely be back for Halloween next year :)

We always love our stay at the Bellefonte KOA! The bathrooms are amazing, the playgrounds are the best! This stay was one of the Halloween weekends, and although there seemed to be less people staying/participating this year (probably due to it being the last weekend for it and colder) we had a great time! KOA staff is always amazing, the bike paths, jump pad, hayride were great as always too!

The facilities and service here were excellent. Nice and clean showers for a campground, and the playground and activities for kids were awesome. Not much immediately near the campground, but a short drive to State College.
