Our stay was a reunion of sorts. We were longtime campers here in the 1990s and early 2000s until we retired and moved to Florida. This was our first visit since November 2005. The KOA has expanded and the new section and overall improvements are stunning! We will be back!

We always try and stay here at least once a year. We enjoy the workers along with new camping friends. Very clean and well maintained grounds/ bath houses.

Sites were clean, all hook ups were functional and the whole facility was beautiful. The only comment I have is that our specific site had a bit of a drop off at the rear of the site. It was not ideal, but did not hinder our equipment.

The campground as a whole was in bad shape! Unleveled sites with some gravel and high weeds! The main roads had huge divots making it almost impassable! Poor water pressure and the list goes on! I wish I could attach photos! Do not waste your money!

We've stayed here many times and it's always a great experience! The staff is always attentive and keep the campground very clean. Their kid facilities are great - great playground, really cool bike course and typically a jump pillow. This year the jump pillow was closed due to new rules which was a little disappointing, but the kids still had a blast.

Staff is always kind and accommodating! Even if they don’t have something you need in the camp store they will provide you with the nearest place to get what you need, however, the store has a lot of things! Grounds/bathrooms always clean! Great campground!

We stayed one night as we were passing through the area. The campground was very welcoming with pretty flowers in bloom and friendly hosts. Everything was neat and clean. The bathrooms were excellent.

The only thing that was bothersime was the septic connection was too high and i had triuble emptying my black water because of it.

We only stayed for the night while traveling through Belefonte, but the staff was awesome, the sites were well kept, the patio furniture was beautiful. While we took the pups for a walk, we saw all of the amenities and everything took Ed top quality.

We enjoyed a very short stay as we returned from the Great American Eclipse 2024! Check-in at 1:30am was easy - all the details were in an envelope waiting for us at the door - thank you! The site (#103) was was flat and had a lovely view. We hope to visit this KOA again soon as it is in a great location on Rte 80.

Koa bellefonte is absolutely perfect. Plenty of room for our trailer. Easy in and out. Casey and his team are incredibly great as well. Always available and helpful

We always stay for the full fall football season and sometimes in April for Blue/White weekend. We've always had a great time. The campground is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful. The other guests are respectful and quiet hours are respected. My kids love the new playground, jumping pillow, and bike park.

Let me start by saying the staff is PHENOMINAL! They are always friendly, attentive and available for any of our needs. The campground itself is outstanding. It is clean, spacious & there is lots to do. I appreciate the extra effort to help keep the campground safe and can't wait for next season.

We stayed the weekend to attend the last home game of PSU Football. The sites are really nice. We love the firepits and tables, as well as all the amenities. The bathrooms are clean and well-maintained.

Cannot thank the staff enough for our stay. We showed up the day they opened at 9am. They were more than welcoming an knew we were coming (trying to get away from severe weather in Ohio valley) everything about this Koa was outstanding. Sites were clean and level. Water pressure was perfect. The grounds were well maintained and it was the first day of season. So you can tell the the staff takes pride in making sure it's a true koa experience! Laundry rooms were clean $2.75 per load. Although I did not use there showers they were also clean! Playgrounds were clean an our kids loved them. I even went fishing at there pond and caught bluegill an small mouth! Dog park was clean an had bags available The staff even the grounds crew were beyond friendly and helpful. The office staff helped us print out a bunch of paper work we needed with no questions asked. I cannot say enough good things about this Koa. My family have literally crossed the country staying at many koas an RV "resorts" this one is top notch if every aspect. If I could critique one thing it's that we showed up to early for the bounce pad to be going an the weather wasn't great and I didn't take any pictures to show how wonderful the property was! 5 stars A+ an many thanks to the Koa crew you are all complete rockstars an it shows via the grounds and customer service at State college / belefonte koa!!! I could go on and on!!! Highly recommend this campground!

(From Summer 2022): I have nothing but great things to say about this KOA. We have been camping here for about 5 years and we will continue to return each year. They do an excellent job of offering fun activities throughout the summer weekends. If I can make a request, Bingo should be a permanent fixture!! My family usually stays in deluxe cabins, which are clean and beautiful, and there is plenty of space for our extended family to join us for meals and hanging out. The bathrooms are clean and well-maintained, and the private bath/shower combos are luxurious. When we stayed in the cabins without bathrooms, it felt was so nice to be able to use these private bathrooms to get kids showered and dressed for bed. The campsite itself is wonderful as well. The pool is clean, with a fun splash pad for younger kids. The pavilion is huge, and we safely sheltered there one year during a massive rainstorm. The jumping pillow is great and newly replaced (2022), the mining sleuth keeps my kids occupied for a while, they have a new and upgraded playground (2022), and their new bike course was tons of fun. I have never had a bad experience, and because I have been to several KOAs (and researched many more), I can confidently say that the Bellefonte location seems to have more amenities than many others. Every year seems to get better and better. We always stay on a summer weekend, and there are several activities on Saturdays, including a giant bubble machine, tie dying, painting, building rockets, etc. Most activities are fun for kids and adults alike. Unlike some KOA campgrounds, evenings are pretty quiet, and it seems like most people respect the need for peace and quiet early in the morning and at night. Their country store is also great and well-stocked. Slushy machines were recently added in the store, and although they were ridiculously overpriced, it was fun to splurge on slushies or an iced coffee on a blisteringly hot day. The staff have always been great too. Highly recommended!!!

If you wish to have a pleasant camping experience with the family, the KOA is lovely and kid-friendly. The pool is heated, and my son was excited to explore the fantastic bike park. If you like fishing, they provide a pond full of fish so your kids may enjoy the thrill of your catch. A lovely swing to unwind on while admiring the pond. The personnel is amiable and fantastic! It's kept immaculately. It's clear that they worked very hard to create the KOA so you could unwind in the summer.
