The campgrounds are very neat and clean. There were activities for the kids and then activities for families. We had several of our friends and relatives who came to our camper for the afternoon and were very impressed with the KOA. We are scheduled to stay again over the 4th of July weekend and also the Halloween weekend.

Lovely camping spot, great views of the surrounding area and lots for kids to do. They kept our kid busy at the campground and always smiling! The bathrooms are clean and well maintained by staff.

Great campground. Clean, site was mostly level. Amenities for children are wonderful. Check in and scheduling for the next year is easy. I do get anxious about getting the same spot for the next year. I would love a policy that guarantees you first dibs on the same site in a year if you schedule with in a certain time frame. We love our spot.

I had a great stay been coming to the koa over memorial day 2 years in a row now with friends and have had a blast and on books for a 3rd. But 1 thing that took me surprise was having to pay for my full stay next year and not a deposit. I wasn't expecting that and had to let something go so I could get my spot for next year.

The staff was very friendly. Campground was very clean and well maintained. This was our first time there but it won’t be our last! We’re looking forward to coming back!

We love the campground, was clean and neat and had so many things for children to do and we love the fact that the area where the children would go and play and hang out was in a separate area than the camp campers were the only problem we had was Adults and children cutting through our campsite all of our stay, That was a bit annoying.

We always enjoy our stay at the Bellefonte/ State College KOA. The campground is beautiful with great amenities. And, the owners and staff are always so friendly and helpful.

Campers were too close and first time me and my wife were asked to then out door speakers down prior to quiet time . Also the placement of fire pits made us reluctant to have a fire due to camper next door parking within 6 feet of ring when he could of parked on other side of drive with his second car !

Unfortunately we were just passing through and only stayed for one night. My husband and I both commented that we would have loved to have been able to stay another night or two. Very nice, well kept campground.

Easy on/off of major highway . Well maintained campground. Bath houses excellent. Big rig friendly, many pull through sites. There isn't a lot of space between sites, but we were here before holiday/summer season, so our 'neighbors' were spaced out well, but during peak season it would be tight ! Great amenities for families. State park is fairly close too

Bellefonte/State College has been our favorite for 15 years and they've only gotten better as the years have gone on. Camping up and down the east coast and as far west as the Mississippi, we haven't found another one that compares.

The spot at this stay was not as nice as before. No view. Too close together. Did not like placement for sewer at all

Great clean park. The staff are friendly polite and knowledgeable of the local area attractions. The washrooms are spacious.and clean. The pool wasn't open for our stay. The staff was busy cleaning it and getting it ready for opening memorial weekend. Like the gated entrance. Planning on staying here again next year.

I've been camping at no doubt one of the best KOA's in the nation for going on 15 years and one thing hasn't changed...The water pressure is horrible!!!

This was a trip back from Elkhart Indiana I would normally score a 5 but we were a bit disappointed on the trip out to Elkhart when our bedroom slide malfunctioned which prevented us from being able to sleep in the rv. We were forced to cancel our stay. Because we were less than 48 hrs from our stay, we were charged. Hotels have 24 hrs cancel policies. Campgrounds should have the same.

Single-use shower and bathrooms at the top of the hill are the best I've seen in any campground. Staff is friendly and helpful. Campground is well-maintained. Please bring in some dump trucks full of gravel for the sites and roads. It's just too muddy in the rain, and drainage is an issue in some sites.

We used Bellefonte KOA as a stop along our trip but should have made it our destination. It was beautiful, well maintained, had great ammenities and the staff were wonderful. I would love to return and stay longer.

The site was level so we didnt need to unhook. Beautiful grounds with pool, covered pool house, dog park, jumper, playground and the coolest bike park/boardwalk. I love the automatic gate and pass. I always feel safe at KOAs even in areas I've never been to. Excellent!

Modern facilities that are well maintained. Very secure with the use of the badges to enter the campsites. Will be even better once the young trees have grown a few more years.

Stayed for two nights. They should escort you to your site or point out in the directions that they have two gates and which one to go through. It was a nice park with plenty for the kids to do.

No hot water in shower. Even though sign said let it run for 3 minutes. After 8 minutes still no hot water. No escort to camp site…map very confusing.

(From Summer 2022): I have nothing but great things to say about this KOA. We have been camping here for about 5 years and we will continue to return each year. They do an excellent job of offering fun activities throughout the summer weekends. If I can make a request, Bingo should be a permanent fixture!! My family usually stays in deluxe cabins, which are clean and beautiful, and there is plenty of space for our extended family to join us for meals and hanging out. The bathrooms are clean and well-maintained, and the private bath/shower combos are luxurious. When we stayed in the cabins without bathrooms, it felt was so nice to be able to use these private bathrooms to get kids showered and dressed for bed. The campsite itself is wonderful as well. The pool is clean, with a fun splash pad for younger kids. The pavilion is huge, and we safely sheltered there one year during a massive rainstorm. The jumping pillow is great and newly replaced (2022), the mining sleuth keeps my kids occupied for a while, they have a new and upgraded playground (2022), and their new bike course was tons of fun. I have never had a bad experience, and because I have been to several KOAs (and researched many more), I can confidently say that the Bellefonte location seems to have more amenities than many others. Every year seems to get better and better. We always stay on a summer weekend, and there are several activities on Saturdays, including a giant bubble machine, tie dying, painting, building rockets, etc. Most activities are fun for kids and adults alike. Unlike some KOA campgrounds, evenings are pretty quiet, and it seems like most people respect the need for peace and quiet early in the morning and at night. Their country store is also great and well-stocked. Slushy machines were recently added in the store, and although they were ridiculously overpriced, it was fun to splurge on slushies or an iced coffee on a blisteringly hot day. The staff have always been great too. Highly recommended!!!

If you wish to have a pleasant camping experience with the family, the KOA is lovely and kid-friendly. The pool is heated, and my son was excited to explore the fantastic bike park. If you like fishing, they provide a pond full of fish so your kids may enjoy the thrill of your catch. A lovely swing to unwind on while admiring the pond. The personnel is amiable and fantastic! It's kept immaculately. It's clear that they worked very hard to create the KOA so you could unwind in the summer.

My family and I stayed in one of the deluxe cabins as an alternative to a hotel room while on a road trip, and we're so glad we did. The cabin was clean, warm, and exactly what we needed for a road trip overnight. Glad we stayed.
