We had an amazing stay and will absolutely be back! From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming, friendly, and always willing to help. The restrooms and bathhouses were exceptionally clean throughout our visit, which we really appreciated. A couple of small suggestions: updating the arcade hours and usage information would be helpful, and adding more shaded seating by pool.

Our ratings always depend heavily on the people running the campground. This one gets our 5 stars for that; but, also for cleanliness and services. This is absolutely one of our favorites!

The Ladies of the staff, make sure you have a great time… They treat everyone in a wonderful way’ If we come this way again…I will definitely stay for a few days.. God Bless

Nice site, decent pool (ice cold), but no theme weekend like website says. Also, horrible office hours. Says they close at 7pm on Fridays; we arrived at 6:56 and office was dark and locked. Saturday hours are 9-4. The office called me, annoyed that we didn't pay remaining balance. Well, sorry not sorry that we were there to explore Acadia and left before you opened and got back after you closed!

Campground was nice. Not as advertised in the KOA book. There was no Friday Bingo. The Ice Cream shack next door that was a part of the KOA was no longer open. They had a “No Marijuana” policy that was not enforced. Had a camper move in next to us that was a pretty heavy smoker. Pretty area lots of trees and shade. But why have rules if not enforced.

Not a typical KOA that we are used to. Small sites and squished in every corner. Half of the washing machines were broken down and no paper towels to wipe them out, one had lots of dog hair. The store only being open from 9-4 was inconvenient for the campers. Multiple people made comments about no cable TV available, the condition of the roads (holey and bumpy) and staff.

for our purposes, our stay was fine and needs were met. We stayed twice, on the way to Nova Scotia and on the way back from Nova Scotia. We have a basic midsized travel trailer. parking in the sites was easy, sites were very level, water,sewer and electric easily setup. Both times we arrived after hours. I found our site info in the after hours box. Perfect. Great location for exploring 'downeast'

It is a shame the lost potential with this property. First let me say the Staff is excellent; they show up everyday to try and make the best of it. 40% of the Washers don’t work. 100% of the Vending and Change Machines don’t work. You spent a lot of money on signage for Pizza, but no Pizza Oven. There’s a GIANT pothole at the exit.

We stayed only overnight going to and returning from Canada. We liked the wooded campground, but the sites are close together. Had the sites next to us been occupied, we would have felt hemmed in. Some road noise is audible, but campers can still hear the birds. Pros: friendly staff, smooth check-in, clean and well maintained facilities.

Men’s urinal was out of service. The first stall I used, the door would not latch. Gigantic puddle at the exit to the campground. Just a mediocre KOA experience.

Little disappointed in the premium site we paid for, was not cleaned up when we arrived, we had to find the site ourselves and the stuff falling from the trees made it difficult to eat on the patio. Happy that we were refunded one night as we had a family emergency and had to leave early.

We tented for 2 nights. At check in my, friend found the person rude and not helpful at all. Another friend ( who was also tenting at the same time) received a welcome bag ( koozie ect.) which we did not. The vibes at the campground was very unwelcoming. We would not recommend this KOA and we will not be back.

Friendly staff, clean cabin, showers and park. Second visit in 2 years and never disappointed. Easy of checking in and out. Easy access to downtown activities, coastal attractions and even Canada.

The campground is run down. The pool was shut down and dirty and no one made us aware it would be closed. The patio at the site was falling apart. The cafe and ice cream shop are closed. The store closes at 4 pm and you cant play any of the games or use the arcade. The exit of the KOA had a huge pothole. Will never return.

Stayed one night just as a layover from driving. Site was bigger than other KOAs I've stayed at; hookups were easy and convenient. Office and pizza shop were closed, so we had to venture out for food. Would have been useful to have a sheet of suggestions, etc. Farther off of I-95 than I realized, but that's on me ;)

The staff at Holden are amazing. I made a major mistake in the first booking (dates were off) and they adjusted it without any issues. Then I changed it again from a camp ground to a cabin and again the staff was amazing and set it up in less than 10 minutes of me calling. When we arrived the cabin was all setup and we had an amazing time. Thank you for everything.

WE booked choosing a campground with a pool for our kids weekend away and was not told the pool was not in. working order. it seems(to me) that the pool was not propertly winterize last year as the pump and filter system were cracked. This is unacceptable for a KOA and the middle of June. I was also not told this when I booked(over the phone) which I always do so I get a person. (pool next door)

sight was a little unlevel. I don't like my front wheels being off the ground when leveling. otherwise campground was wee manicured and the staff was very kind and informative

Our family loved the cabin. It was perfect for our family of 6. The table, was awkward though and it definitely needs more storage or a pantry. If you made a bench area and created a fold up table, that would help. You could also put some shelves to the right of the couch and put a lamp on top of it, to save room and add more storage as well. The clothes line in the shower was awesome!!

Everything was closed the pool was closed waiting for inspection so it was hot we were dying from heat with no way to cool down. Arcade wasn't open or ready so couldn't enjoy that. We literally stayed in our tents the whole time because all that they had left open was the playground. I asked for accommodation because of the fact Everything advertised wasn't open and couldn't. I wouldn't go back!

The place is ok. They do a nice Saturday breakfast Had issues with the electrical that took a couple tries to get resolved The 30amp side of the service was never fixed. The site I was on was very tight for my 45’ coach To get in and out I had to pull across into the other spots. Maintenance guy went a little bonkers over it but it was all I could do. Not my typical KOA experience

Management is fantastic however as a Seasonal RVer I was not impressed with the new price structure. The fees kept going up with additional costs if we have guests.

Sites are small and close together. We were staying there to attend a funeral in Brewer, we called to request late checkout so we could visit with family ,and were told we could only have an additional hour and had to be gone by 12:00pm, the website said you could request to stay until 1:00pm. The campground was pretty empty at the time, this did not feel very accommodating.

We had a very nice stay. Staff is kind and accommodating. Took the dogs on the nature walk and they came back coated with ticks. Wish we had been warned.

We spent one quick night heading to Maine. They were put us in a camp spot very quickly and a nice spot too. Didn’t have much time to look around but we went for a walk on the trail and we where able to stretch our legs.

We stayed for one week. The sites are very spacious and ours was level. The bathroom and laundry room are clean. The staff is friendly. We enjoyed our stay. Only complaint is the massive pothole as you exit the campground. Makes it difficult to pull Out into traffic and not good for vehicles and RV's to bounce through. KOA, how about filling it up with gravel???

Service was great. Didn't stay there but needed propane late at night and they opened to accommodate us. We are so Grateful to the kind staff. Came back days later for a refill. All the staff was kind and welcoming

Wonderful, clean, quiet, friendly campground. I stayed in a Dome tent. Was wonderful! Spacious and nicely laid out. Short walk to restrooms/ showers. Would do again in Heartbeat.
