The staff at Holden are amazing. I made a major mistake in the first booking (dates were off) and they adjusted it without any issues. Then I changed it again from a camp ground to a cabin and again the staff was amazing and set it up in less than 10 minutes of me calling. When we arrived the cabin was all setup and we had an amazing time. Thank you for everything.

Our family loved the cabin. It was perfect for our family of 6. The table, was awkward though and it definitely needs more storage or a pantry. If you made a bench area and created a fold up table, that would help. You could also put some shelves to the right of the couch and put a lamp on top of it, to save room and add more storage as well. The clothes line in the shower was awesome!!

Always great staying at a KOA, this time I had a geodome and was great except the street light for the campground road was next to the dome and the light shone through the circular window and reflected off of the white tarp thus lighting up the inside all night long- too bright

We arrived after hours and found our map and campsite easily. It was a short overnight stay so we didn't meat any of the staff but the cabin was clean and tidy and my kids loved the loft.

Very clean very friendly. I stayed in the dome. It was nice when you had to get up in a night to go to the bathroom. It was lit very well. Restrooms were clean. Showers were great.

I booked through the internet and the website says snack bar, gem mining, Christmas in July, however there was nothing. I came with kids and there was nothing except pool and playground and I can find that at any campground. There were no activities for kids, not even Christmas decorations anywhere. Very disappointing after having spent the money

Disappointed overall. Loud music heard from different camp sites, staff was rude at times, overpriced. Would not recommend.

No activities at all on site. Kids were extremely bored. Small campsite and extremely empty. Completely unpaved so kids couldn't used scooters or anything. Every cAmpsite I've been to has had the road paved atleast. No privacy at all with sites right on top on each other. Everything closes at 5 as well.

We were greated very kindly by the staff and the geo domes are super cute. They have everything you'd get in a hotel. However the bathroom/shower area was not the greatest. The floors were pretty dirty and the ceiling was very wet and had moldy plaster falling into the shower.

Very nice stay. The "Geo dome" was awesome! It was very nice to have linens and coffee ready to go in the geo dome. I was not expecting that and was very pleasantly surprised. We came for 1 night as a quick stay while attending the Zac Brown band concert. We will definitely look at staying here again; possibly for another concert, or on the way to visit Bar Harbor/Acadia National Park!

This was such a great spot to visit. The people at the KOA were extremely welcoming and the staff went above and beyond. They made our first visit to Maine one to remember.

It was so refreshing to go to a “REAL” KOA after that disastrous stay in the previous KOA. The staff was amazingly friendly, professional, and the facilities were very CLEAN!! Hope to return there again.

The Deluxe Cabin was very nice - neat, clean, roomy and cozy, and all at the same time. The bed was comfortable. The HVAC was good. The kitchen, with full-size refrigerator, was great. The setting for the cabin was appealing, and it was a beautiful, quiet retreat.

It was great- the pavilion space was great for a party. The cabin was a bit tight and the store/office closed very early both nights which was a bit inconvenient.

We were here to visit my mom. She’s a work camper. Her and the other housekeeper do an awesome job, keeping the cabins and the restrooms clean. The maintenance crew kept the grounds very nice. The office staff was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. My children were extremely happy to go to the pavilion and do some painting and activities. We really enjoyed our stay.

We were disappointed in our stay. The dome was cute but surprised when we opened the door and there was no bedding (luckily, I had ours in the car for the rest of our vacation camping). The dome was very moldy smelling and air freshener was used to mask it. We coughed and had a headache all night. Wish we had just found a local motel instead of stopping there for the night. Bathrooms were clean!

Loved the dome very roomy and comfortable. Campground was quiet. On the other hand the limited office hours for a summer stay and the lack of activities like a game room was disappointing. Also making a left out of the driveway was difficult.

We love this place! Noticed a lot of nice changes and upgrades since the last time we stayed! We have literally stayed every way possible, in our camper, in a rental camper, in a cabin, and in a dome! There honestly isn’t a bad way to stay here! You guys rock and we will be back soon!

Cabin was like brand new. Beautiful wood throughout. Very clean, very comfortable. I took an adult craft class even though I was there only one night.

The cabin was nice. The mattress had a plastic protector around it. It needed a regular mattress protector as well. You kept sticking to the plastic well trying to sleep. So uncomfortable. The pool wasn't open. So that was a disappointment. The campground needed to communicate what was going on for activities. Flyers maybe instead of riding around in golf carts hollering to get people to come.

When I arrived at the campground, the pool was very green, but people were still in it. I understand things happen, but that's one of your main attractions is your pool and didn't even offer a discount officer room or the cabin. I should say as I was there 44 days with my grandchildren and I had to go a half hour out of my weight to go swimming. It was very disappointing hopefully, if I make it up

We had a wonderful time at the Bangor/Holden KOA! The staff were above and beyond friendly and helpful. I would give the KOA a 10 out of 10 stars! The cabin rental was spotless! The rental had everything that you may need for a get away vacation. The property was well kept and had some hiking trails close by. The camp store was clean and organized. I would highly recommend the Bangor/Holden KOA.

Our stay was perfect! We rented a camper and it was so cozy and had everything we needed! Staff was very friendly and they had tons of fun activities going on! We will be back!

Great campground and staff. Cabin was awesome. Only problem was the firewood we purchased would not burn. Bought two stacks; just left the other one at the office on our way out. Definitely need an axe or something to spilt wood. We would stay again

It was unkind to provide no alert that the quality of your well water was compromised to the extent that there was an order to boil water before drinking it. We paid for a KOA campground in order to get full hookups! It is your responsibility that the water provided was not potable. You should have given us fair warning before we arrived, and also provided us with at minimum FREE drinking water.

We stayed for one week. The sites are very spacious and ours was level. The bathroom and laundry room are clean. The staff is friendly. We enjoyed our stay. Only complaint is the massive pothole as you exit the campground. Makes it difficult to pull Out into traffic and not good for vehicles and RV's to bounce through. KOA, how about filling it up with gravel???

Service was great. Didn't stay there but needed propane late at night and they opened to accommodate us. We are so Grateful to the kind staff. Came back days later for a refill. All the staff was kind and welcoming

Wonderful, clean, quiet, friendly campground. I stayed in a Dome tent. Was wonderful! Spacious and nicely laid out. Short walk to restrooms/ showers. Would do again in Heartbeat.
