Everything was closed the pool was closed waiting for inspection so it was hot we were dying from heat with no way to cool down. Arcade wasn't open or ready so couldn't enjoy that. We literally stayed in our tents the whole time because all that they had left open was the playground. I asked for accommodation because of the fact Everything advertised wasn't open and couldn't. I wouldn't go back!

We highly recommend this campground. It has all the necessary amenities, along with being clean & organized. The staff are friendly and the gift shop was a hit too. There are indoor and outdoor games for kids and adults. Saturday there is a bonus pancake breakfast and coffee. We tented with power and water to supply charging / lighting needs. Firewood is also available. Don’t hesitate.

The staff were amazing- friendly, attentive, and especially great with kids, making sure they felt included. The grounds were clean and well kept. Bathrooms were spotless, with spacious, privates shower/toilet combo stalls. Our only complaint was the tent sites being small and very close together, though luckily we had great neighbors. Overall, a positive experience.

Great breakfast free of charge with a small donation request, and very clean, nice bathrooms. Lots of games for kids, only negative was not having fires at campground due to fire risk, but other campgrounds we visited before and after our stay in Maine permitted it.

We have stayed at many KOAs and this was by far our least favorite. Passing by for a night? Perfectly fine. As a holiday KOA? No. They cater to long term residents, have a ridiculous amount of rules, chased us down twice upon entering, have cameras that monitor your trash emptying prowess and tent access to trash, water and bathrooms is terrible.

Tent area was farther from restrooms than other lKOAs we’ve visited. The tent area situated next to a business that does some kind of construction that started before 7:00 am. It was very loud. Restroom lights turned off in the middle of my shower (less than 3 minutes in). The second bathroom only had one working shower. Also, there was a dead rat by the area for washing dishes.

I think if you have an RV this KOA would be great but if you're staying in a tent the only spots they have for you are down by where the dog park and pumpouts are. The sewer smell is not pleasant

Worst KOA I have ever stayed in due to service/communication. We were not notified of check in closing at 5pm, instead received a call at 5:22pm stating the documents would be in box. Other KOA’s we stayed at during this trip called 1 hour in advance to check. Upon leaving we were getting rid of our trashed and stalled by Woody who was extremely rude. Maybe teach the man some service etiquette.

A quiet place, clean premises and excellent personnel who helped me with all my needs. If one day I get the chance to come.back to Maine, this is one of the places I will stay again

We stayed at a big well kept tent site. Considering how busy the campground was, 4th of July, we had 3 very quiet nights sleep. On grounds they have a big camp store, well kept pool and ice cream stand with Giffords ice cream. Staff was also wonderful!

Girl at the front desk was very helpful. Bath house was always kept clean. The only complain is that you will hear trucks from the lumberyard next door very early in the morning. Other than that, everybody was helpful and our site and stay was perfect! Will definitely come back here next year for 4th of July.

I was in a tent site unserviced. Very nice with tall pine trees. The amenities were clean and not too far from the site.

We checked-in on the day of arrival at KOA around 6:45 PM & Sara (Gen'l Manager) was most helpful in finding our tent site. The only downside of our stay at the Bangor/Holden KOA was the "boil water" restriction. It would have been an inconvenience if we had a big RV & had to boil water for washing & brushing teeth. When camping, the boil water is difficult. We will learn from the experience.

on a choisi pour la piscine et le jump pad mais aucun des deux n'était dispo. C'est inacceptable, ca devrait etre averti quand les installations sont fermées. Trop cher , c'est la derniere fois que l'on sejourne à ce koa. Le site de camping pas tres propre, la table pourrait etre nettoyée de temps à autre .

Campground & bathrooms nice. Need a heads up that the business next door starts making loud trucking noises at 6:00am. Wish office/gift shop opened before 9:00am.

Tented for 3 nights. Happy with site. Bathrooms very clean. Showers are big. Pool was cool for our taste. Staff helpful.

Our first tent site we had reserved was a little stinky - smelled like sewage. So we asked the front desk if we could move, and we did. Our 2nd tent site was backed up against a lumbar yard? Lots of noise in the morning. Anyway, the bathrooms were so clean and nice.

Would have liked paper towels available in the bathroom to wipe down the sink area before & after using; also, would have been nice to have a light in outside sink area as it makes it difficult to wash dishes when getting dark outside!!

We stayed for one week. The sites are very spacious and ours was level. The bathroom and laundry room are clean. The staff is friendly. We enjoyed our stay. Only complaint is the massive pothole as you exit the campground. Makes it difficult to pull Out into traffic and not good for vehicles and RV's to bounce through. KOA, how about filling it up with gravel???

Service was great. Didn't stay there but needed propane late at night and they opened to accommodate us. We are so Grateful to the kind staff. Came back days later for a refill. All the staff was kind and welcoming

Wonderful, clean, quiet, friendly campground. I stayed in a Dome tent. Was wonderful! Spacious and nicely laid out. Short walk to restrooms/ showers. Would do again in Heartbeat.
