1) 2 night minimum for events weekend ( every weekend is an event weekend in bangor). Couldn’t make it the first night and could not get a refund. 2) my son wanted to come but couldn’t put a small pop up tent on our site. We already paid for two nights and would have had to pay for 2 more nights in order for him to come. 3) our tent site was on a hill with 3/6 on level ground not being used.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

1) when you booked you were aware of a 2 night Min. with a 2 night min why would we give you a refund. 2) our rules clearly state no additional tents on a site, & again it was a 2 night min.3) your tent was not on a hill. Why lie becuase you did not get your way?

We had the most wonderful experience at this specific KOA site. Chris was extremely hospitable and gave amazing recommendations for things to do in the area during our short stay! The restrooms/showers were extremely clean. If we ever return to the area, we will for sure camp here again. Also, get the homemade NY style pizza if you're looking for great food!

Everyone was very friendly, the activities were numerous and kept an 8 year old busy and very excited to be there. She went trick and treating, road in a fire truck, had fun on the slip&slide, had s’mores and bonfire in the evening. She loved all the dogs. The pizza was excellent. The rest room was spotless. I would recommend this KOA for family fun.

I'm rating a 4, which is a low 4. We tented for 2 nights at an electric/water site. The site was nice and clean. It was unfortunate to look at a camper site next to us have all his junk cars and lawn mowers all over the place. Clearly those people have been there awhile. One of the bathrooms was being renovated, and two out of four dryers were not working. Bathrooms that worked were OK.

Noise from road loud. Food amenities were excellent. A guy set up a tent next to mine after I was asleep at 10:30 pm and made very loud noises pounding his stakes for 30 minutes

We tent camped (near the Dome tents), and the spaces were very small. Tents would be too close to the fire-ring. The pool was nice. Electricity at our tent site was functional, but seemed weak (our small fan didn't spin very fast, and the hand-dryer in the shower-house also seemed weak). The water at our site was sometimes cloudy. Staff kept the bathrooms/showers very clean!

Only one bath house, 2 female showers for entire campground. Owners said they had issues getting supplies for building the 2nd one. Really felt like that was a poor excuse.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

If you looked at the front bath house you would clearly see it is under construction. Amazing when we chatted you told me you understood about supply issues because as a nurse you are having problems getting things & you are also understaffed. Just amazing when you are here you understand!!!

The campground was busy, but other guests were quiet and respectful. The bathrooms were very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful

Wonderful campground with big beautiful trees and very friendly staff! My kids had a blast and they can’t wait to go back! They were renovating one of the bathrooms so only one bathroom for the whole camp currently. Not the most secluded, right on the main hwy, could hear traffic noise but we were in the very back so it wasn’t too bad. But those are things that can’t be changed. Overall G

Fantastic! Wonderful employees. They have a restaurant and delivered our pizza to our tent. Exceptionally clean bathrooms. Best KOA we've stayed in.

Great amenities like laundry and showers near tent site, restaurant on the back of main office. They also gave me a coupon for a free ice cream next door.

Hosts were very kind and welcoming. Facilities were in good condition. Overall a good place to stay. A couple points that kept it from being a 5 star site for me- It was a noisy area for sleeping in a tent with the roads running closely nearby. Wood available on site at the time was not usable as it was soggy from recent rains.

I called and reserved a spot for a tent for my wife and I. Whoever I talked to was very nice and told me where to find the map to get to our campsite (because we weren't arriving until late) When we arrived there was nothing left for us. That's fine, no problem. I called the KOA and explained the situation. Whoever I dealt with, was completely unpleasant. Very unprofessional. Unacceptable.

You called after hours and said you could not find the night drop. Told you where the box was, you were upset, said there was no map. We came down opened the door and turned on lights and you refused to come in. We apologized that someone took your map gave you a new one. Not sure what more you want

Our family had a wonderful time at this KOA! The staff was very friendly and worked extremely hard to satisfy their guests. The camp store had everything we needed that we had forgot to bring. We highly recommend staying here. We will be back next season for sure!

We stayed for one week. The sites are very spacious and ours was level. The bathroom and laundry room are clean. The staff is friendly. We enjoyed our stay. Only complaint is the massive pothole as you exit the campground. Makes it difficult to pull Out into traffic and not good for vehicles and RV's to bounce through. KOA, how about filling it up with gravel???

Service was great. Didn't stay there but needed propane late at night and they opened to accommodate us. We are so Grateful to the kind staff. Came back days later for a refill. All the staff was kind and welcoming

Wonderful, clean, quiet, friendly campground. I stayed in a Dome tent. Was wonderful! Spacious and nicely laid out. Short walk to restrooms/ showers. Would do again in Heartbeat.
