Very tight pull through site and bathrooms were poorly maintained

I am sorry you were on one of our smaller pull thru sites. It was the last one available for the 4th of July weekend. Next time book early! With 100% capacity we tried to keep up with the bathrooms through out the day. If there was a problem with the bathrooms please let us know while you are here.

The pool looked cloudy and needs repair. I wish the play ground was open later for the kids to play. The sun is up past 8pm most of the time. More activities for the kids as well.

You live in Bangor & you are well aware of the frost & freeze we get. Some of the pool tiles popped off over the winter. The pool was not cloudy. Foam Party, fire engine ride, kids craft, tie dye, face painting all happened when you were here Playground sign clearly says it is open from 8AM to dusk

Our lot was terrible. Went with friends and booked a while ago and could not even be close to each other. We had a corner lot that was so small. Our fire pit was about 3 ft from the road. The pool needed desperate repairs. I am handicap and held onto the railing to come out of the pool and the whole railing was coming out of the cement which almost caused me to fall after losing my balance.

You were 6 sites from your friends. We try to accommodate everyone, being the 4th we cannot always. The pool tile popped off over the winter freeze, living in Maine I would thought you would understand Please do not leave a bad review just because you were not next to your friends. Great place!! Staff was very helpful and had a great sense of humor!! Very clean bathrooms/showers. Area is wonderful. Close to Bangor which I had not seen in 50 years and was amazed. It has grown a lot!!! I loved the Campgrounds feel and the hiking trail!! They are very kind to veterans and display their appreciation with flags and other items for veterans, family members etc. We will be back! TY

This was the perfect stop on the way home from Canada. And the Red Barn Cafe was so convenient after that long drive. Being able to order a delicious salad and get it delivered to my campsite was just what I needed. My site was much bigger than I thought it would be, and very quiet. Thank you for a restful stay.

This campground is borderline big rig friendly. Boulders in the turn makes it extremely difficult to get to your site. The road needs to be widened about 2 feet to allow Class A and 5th wheels to turn. Bathrooms are not up to KOA standards that i am accustomed to.

The boulders are needed because people keep driving up on the grass and destroying it. We have a full size pumper fire truck and have no problem on any of the roads. One bathroom is closed for renovation and the other was renovated 4 years ago. Are you sure you have the right campground?

Sites are to close together no privacy we would pay more for a little space. Also not sure why you need to sign a waiver not to use marijuana when it is legal. Staff and owners were all very nice!

Marijuana is legal in Maine. As a private campground we do not allow it on our property, since we are a family campground. I am sorry you find this upsetting. You had a 21' travel trailer on a 65' x 30' site. Again sorry about no privacy but you are camping. A 130'x50' site was available for more $

We stayed in a deluxe patio site for a week. We had plenty of space for the seven of us and our dog. Our truck, camper, and a second vehicle has plenty of room or parking. Showers were clean, pizza was delicious and you can’t beat Gifford’s ice cream from Holden A Cone. Stayed for 3 nights. Lots of activities to do. Bathrooms very clean. Cafe's pizza is very good. Ice cream parlor serves up 24 flavors of soft serve and hard ice cream. The soft serve banana was my favorite. I would of given this place a 10, however our site overlooked the back of 2 full time annual units that had long weeds and piled up crap. Not the view we were hoping for when camping.

We were placed in a premium spot but it was mere inches when slides were out from our neighbors. The next double premium spot was totally empty. How did that occur?

Let's be honest you were not mere inches from the other camper. You were 3' away. When you stepped out of your camper door the next site is at least 50' away! The other site was booked but they cancelled. You should have come to the office to discuss this and we could have moved you.

Lot was extremely small. Camper and vehicle couldn’t fit on one lot. Most sites appears to have people living there

I agree the site was small for your 32' fifth wheel. We recommended that you go on a different site since you had a large camper but you did not want to pay the extra charge. The site you chose is for a pop up, van or smaller camper, but you knew better! Less the 1/4 of our sites are long term.

My boys enjoyed the ping pong tables and activities. Holden A Cone was a delicious treat. One thing I would change are the dryers. The dryers worked in 15 minute increments.

The dryers run in 5 minute increments not 15. For every quarter you put in, you get 5 minutes. You can put up to 19 quarters in at a time for a total of 95 minutes. Glad the boys enjoyed themselves.

We were in a patio pull thru site. It was a great site with lots of shade. We were worried about putting our canopy out because of the sap from the trees but fortunately did not need it. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. The only reason I did not give it a five was because it took us almost 2 hours to level up. Apparently they add gravel every year but it sinks.

Only stayed one night, would definitely return & stay longer. Hosts were very friendly & extremely helpful. Love the beer koozies. Great amenities!

the sites were very close together. Our neighbors campfire was about three feet from our bedroom. Wifi which we counted on to fill out Canadian claim forms etc was pretty non existent despite they’re attempts. so if wifi is vip for your planning this is not the place fir you.

As we explained to you our vendor Spectrum's equipment went down. They came out 3 days later & spend 2 hours fixing it. We offered you to have us print the paperwork for you & you refused. You complained 4 times to us and we explained that we were waiting on Spectrum. You had no one next to you.

This Campground had the basic amenities, however when checking in I was challenged about the amps our motorhome needed. I said my husband and I are not new campers - we've been camping for quite a few years. After double- checking with my husband, we were given the "ok" to stay at the site we had chosen. A little disheartening as a "welcome". No other contact with any staff over our stay.

We had a two-night stay and was very comfortable, sites are well kept and easy to inter, all the hookups were easy and worked fine. A lot for kids and adults to take part in and we had a great pizza delivered to our site. Will stay there again this season as it is only minutes from home.

Chris is extremely rude to his customers. He banned my mother for leaving an honest review and then continued to tell her that none of her family was welcomed back, including me who was not even part of that review. I called to let him know that I was not pleased with that. He was very disrespectful to me on the phone so as he raised his voice, I raised mine. Very disappointed with the disrespect.

I think the front desk is rude and argumentative. I wanted to cancel because I found out I had Covid and wanted to change my paid reservation to another weekend and was flat out denied any compensation. The Augusta KOA I found out the following week had the same symptoms and they gave them a full refund except 10$, that’s much better customer service.

When we arrived we found out that our site had an actual dump station on it. This should not be allowed. People across from us were partying one night and decided it was ok to walk through our campsite and then one of them decided to urinate on our site with us sitting right there. The wifi doesn't work, can't watch TV at all because it doesn't keep working. There is no way we would go back.

Loved it! Loved it! Loved it!!! We drove 1800 miles & picked Bangor/Holden KOA as our home for 4 nights. Would happily stay there again if our travels point that way!

In December 2021 l made an error to my Memorial Day stay. The owner, Chris told, no problem during a March telephone conversation. He offered to change my site and provide a cash refund for my KOA discount upon my arrival. Not only did I not get my refund, I was upcharged to 2022 rates. Not a good customer experience. They required removal of toads at checkin resulting in unsafe road access.

You threatened us with a bad review if I didn't discount the site. Stop blackmailing us! 2022 prices were established when we opened 2022 bookings! No error was made, you wanted to move to be with a friend. They booked a w/e/s site & you booked a w/e site. You wanted $20 back for an upgraded site?

We stayed for one week. The sites are very spacious and ours was level. The bathroom and laundry room are clean. The staff is friendly. We enjoyed our stay. Only complaint is the massive pothole as you exit the campground. Makes it difficult to pull Out into traffic and not good for vehicles and RV's to bounce through. KOA, how about filling it up with gravel???

Service was great. Didn't stay there but needed propane late at night and they opened to accommodate us. We are so Grateful to the kind staff. Came back days later for a refill. All the staff was kind and welcoming

Wonderful, clean, quiet, friendly campground. I stayed in a Dome tent. Was wonderful! Spacious and nicely laid out. Short walk to restrooms/ showers. Would do again in Heartbeat.
