The "buddy" site was not quite as expected. To face each other you would have a small wall and drop off between you with all your hookups. We ended up back to back but it ended up being fine. Everyone there was extremely nice and we had a great stay.

We stayed 5 nights and found the place to be quiet and well maintained. But they did have an issue with in one of the bath houses with one of the woman’s showers closed due to roof issues and the urnals in both bath houses were out of order. We found this to be a great place to visit Acadia National Park and visit the coast.

Staff was wonderful. Shared buildings were clean. Wi-Fi was amazingly good. The showers had warm water, not really hot (this seemed to be hit or miss, some in my party got hot hot water… I got warm) Sites were kind of close together, but that is pretty standard for KOA. Overall a great stay.

We were greated very kindly by the staff and the geo domes are super cute. They have everything you'd get in a hotel. However the bathroom/shower area was not the greatest. The floors were pretty dirty and the ceiling was very wet and had moldy plaster falling into the shower.

Very nice stay. The "Geo dome" was awesome! It was very nice to have linens and coffee ready to go in the geo dome. I was not expecting that and was very pleasantly surprised. We came for 1 night as a quick stay while attending the Zac Brown band concert. We will definitely look at staying here again; possibly for another concert, or on the way to visit Bar Harbor/Acadia National Park!

This was such a great spot to visit. The people at the KOA were extremely welcoming and the staff went above and beyond. They made our first visit to Maine one to remember.

It was so refreshing to go to a “REAL” KOA after that disastrous stay in the previous KOA. The staff was amazingly friendly, professional, and the facilities were very CLEAN!! Hope to return there again.

The staff was wonderful and the park is located in a great spot. We would stay here again. My only suggestion is putting heat in to public restrooms.

We had a good stay! The camp is very clean and well maintained. My kids had a great time with the activities during the rainy days. We didn't stay long enough to use the pool when it opened, but it looked nice. Camp store very well stocked. Great ice cream! The girls at the front desk were wonderful. The only issue was the cold water shower but things happen and they were trying to fix it ASAP

We had a great lot (96) with a full hookup and power. The employees and other campers were friendly and helpful. We would stay there again!

The staff were super friendly. Having said that, I’ve stayed at a lot of KOAs around America and this one seems neglected. Generally, I pay about $50-60 a night and get a nice spot in a well manicured campground. My spot here (106) was $74 and muddy. The grass was overgrown and the lawn areas near the dog park and play area were swampy. $70+ for a basic site here is far too much.

The campground is small, with the highway in front of it and a lumber company right next door that starts operations at 7:00 am in the morning, both are noisy which are the only reasons we are giving this 3 stars. Otherwise, the hosts/staff were very nice, with a well stocked camp store, restrooms and laundry room very clean and things to do for the kids and an ice cream store in the park.

The staff was friendly, our assigned site was on a really steep side angle and should not have been in the system to be used. After the first night I requested another site and received it. The park just opened for the season and there was a lot of work that needed to be done yet. We have been on the road 8 weeks and this was the worst park we stayed in. I think it will improve once they are open

Pool was very good this year! Weekend activities kept the grandkids entertained & the addition of barrel train rides was a hit! The staff was great and accomplished quite a bit.

I love my stay at the KOA campground and HOLDEN Maine. The employees are amazing. Always there when I needed to help in hand always friendly in the office. Can’t wait to go back next year.

Some nice sites but we had one that I felt was too sloped and I would have had to jack the RV rear off the ground to level it.Asked for a different one and got it.They advertise pizza on web site and big display out front but they do not have any.Closed.WIFI was marginal.There was piles of leaves and pine needles at the edge of road from campers not picked up.Very narrow entry/narrow sites.

The Deluxe Cabin was very nice - neat, clean, roomy and cozy, and all at the same time. The bed was comfortable. The HVAC was good. The kitchen, with full-size refrigerator, was great. The setting for the cabin was appealing, and it was a beautiful, quiet retreat.

The dog area was being worked on when we arrived. But management had it up and running the next day. Really impressed with the grounds and management!!

We purchased our camper midway though the season. The previous owners were seasonal guests at the KOA and we purchased the remainder of their seasonal site. Our experience was awful. We were on a site with no sewer and were told we would be pumped weekly, we were never pumped once. We also purchased a deck that went with the camper, KOA removed the deck and destroyed while we were away.

Great campground layout, sites, amenities, and staff. Nice walking trails through adjacent woods. Sites #68 and #23 are the best.

Only 1 night. Sites were easy to get into but we could not use the septic as the inlet was higher than our camper outlet. The employee adjusted our rate so we only paid the price for an electric/water site which was appreciated. Only area of improvement was the men's shower I used was badly in need of an update. Everything was clean but shower wall was peeling.

We stayed for one week. The sites are very spacious and ours was level. The bathroom and laundry room are clean. The staff is friendly. We enjoyed our stay. Only complaint is the massive pothole as you exit the campground. Makes it difficult to pull Out into traffic and not good for vehicles and RV's to bounce through. KOA, how about filling it up with gravel???

Service was great. Didn't stay there but needed propane late at night and they opened to accommodate us. We are so Grateful to the kind staff. Came back days later for a refill. All the staff was kind and welcoming

Wonderful, clean, quiet, friendly campground. I stayed in a Dome tent. Was wonderful! Spacious and nicely laid out. Short walk to restrooms/ showers. Would do again in Heartbeat.
