Nice location, close to Bangor. Site was long enough for the RV & Toad. Mostly seasonal campers, many seasonal sites are cluttered. Showers are clean and spacious, currently under renovation. WIFI was poor, Cable TV, but several channels have poor reception. You should have told us in advance that the water tested positive for E. coli in June and was not safe to drink! Then to be told it’s fine to shower with it, etc, defies logic. E. coli is a very dangerous bacteria. And it’s OK to use for a nice, hot shower? To add insult to injury, instead to offering us a free jug or two of drinking water, you offered to sell them to us for $2.00 each?

Site right next to dump station. Worker dumping multiple times while we were there. You could smell it. Terrible site so small and muddy

Site was ok. Only problem we had was when we arrived the people in site #69 were parked across the front of our site so we had to set up the best we could for the night, then reset up the camper the next morning. People that worked at the KOA were friendly.

The whole staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. Not one bad attitude in the bunch. Plenty of activities going on and clean facilities. Nice they have trails in the back to explore with pets. The only reason I have not done a 5 is that it is by a very busy road that can be a challenge to get in and out of and a-lot of road noise. Good location to get to things otherwise.

From my first call to Bangor KOA to schedule a stay until my last day I drove out of the KOA driveway, the staff was very friendly, professional and available. My grandchildren loves it and I loved every moment!!! I hope to become a seasonal and if that is not available, my next stay will be at least for a month. Can't wait to return! Prayers for God's blessing upon Bangor KOA.

Sites are tight all around the campground. The site we had was great on one side but the other side we were right up against the neighbors rv and shared hookups with that site.

Had a wonderful site. Right next to the trees, everyone was super helpful. They waited up late even though we showed up at 10 o’clock to help us get checked in and get us to our site. Camp store was loaded and fully stocked. Pizza is good. Warning, the pool when there’s been no sun for four days it’s freezing cold But fun.

Boil water order in effect. Bathroom next to us had many issues and our neighbor was connected to our water spigot. Site was acceptable but not worth over $100/night.

Boil water order was in effect while we were there due to failed well water test. It appears that the issue is being remediated...Otherwise, all was good. Best wishes to the new owners and management of this KOA. All staff was very friendly and caring.

We made reservations 4 days in advance & was NOT informed about a boil water order until 1 hr before arrival. We stayed 9 days, ea day we searched for drinkable water to fill our RV tank to avoid ingesting bad bacteria. When asked if we would receive compensation for not receiving what we paid for, drinkable water, Sarah Tibbetts said no; she was being nice to allow our pkgs to ship there. Really?

Our travels throughout 2023 has taken us across the US & we’ve stayed at many KOA’s. What happened to taking care of the customer? When a KOA has a boil water order, shouldn’t KOA provide free bottled water for their customers? Shouldn’t KOA lower their fees to compensate for lack of clean drinkable water? BEWARE of this location!

Great park under new management, still suffering from the sins of the previous owners. Big camp store, nice cafe, and great managers and employees. They do have music from time to time. If you are close to the stage that might be a problem? Great sites except for a few seasonal sites that have been left go and are pretty ratty. Lots of upgrades in progress. It's a great place to stay.

It was unkind to provide no alert that the quality of your well water was compromised to the extent that there was an order to boil water before drinking it. We paid for a KOA campground in order to get full hookups! It is your responsibility that the water provided was not potable. You should have given us fair warning before we arrived, and also provided us with at minimum FREE drinking water.

Although, I don’t think this review is fair, as it’s under new ownership. The place was rundown and definitely needs a major updates all over. The pool was closed for our entire stay. The site we were booked was the dumping station. I’m not sure as there was plenty of available sites during our entire stay that did not have the dumping station. Everything was easy from check-in, getting to our site and having friendly service. The only problem was there was a boil order due to the amount of rain the area has received in recent days and weeks so we just used our fresh water tank.

Attentive and helpful staff & managers. New ownership. Clean pool, grounds and facilities. Wi-Fi extenders were being added during our stay so we didn't have any Wi-Fi until the last day. Great location. Level sites. Boil water in effect but we knew that before we checked in and filled our fresh tank beforehand. Definitely would go back in the future.

Like this location/campground, but how do you NOT tell your customers at check-in that there is a "boil water order" because of E Coli?? We did not see it posted anywhere until the day we checked out. It was posted on an 8 x 10 piece of paper on the wall in the rec center? Shame on them for not making it more clear before and at the check in. My wife was sick for a couple days after our stay.

We stayed overnight in our camping trailer. We were able to park fairly close to the impeccably clean restrooms. Water supply was under a boil water order. Please spread more washed gravel in campsites to avoid tracking dirt into trailer. No sewer hook up in our site -- not obvious how to dispose of grey water. The campground was very easy to find. Happy to see recycling bins.
