Wonderful stay during “Christmas in July” activities

When I arrived at the campground, the pool was very green, but people were still in it. I understand things happen, but that's one of your main attractions is your pool and didn't even offer a discount officer room or the cabin. I should say as I was there 44 days with my grandchildren and I had to go a half hour out of my weight to go swimming. It was very disappointing hopefully, if I make it up

This campground was top notch! We were in site 97 which was so big and perfect for our pups. The bathrooms were spotless! We have an 35 ft travel trailer and hands down chose to shower in the bathhouse, and I’m VERY PICKY! About 40 min to Acadia and Bar Harbor. Lots of local lakes, check out Branch Lake!

All of the sites are very clean and offer enough space so that you can enjoy sitting around the campfire. The staff is very friendly as is those who camp at this campground. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay because we were able to talk with person who would just walk by or the staff checking in to make sure everything was going well.

Camp staff very friendly and helpful. All facilities clean and in working order. I would definitely stay here again.

Everything and everyone working there were great. Campground was clean and friendly. My only complaint and why I wouldn't stay there again is that the dog park is way too small and not secure. You have all that open property around the park and you don't make a bigger park is such a shame.

We stayed at a big well kept tent site. Considering how busy the campground was, 4th of July, we had 3 very quiet nights sleep. On grounds they have a big camp store, well kept pool and ice cream stand with Giffords ice cream. Staff was also wonderful!

We really enjoyed our stay at this campground! The campground was very cosy and quiet, which we loved! They had a great activities center for children and their pool was nice and refreshing after long days at Acadia Park.

Girl at the front desk was very helpful. Bath house was always kept clean. The only complain is that you will hear trucks from the lumberyard next door very early in the morning. Other than that, everybody was helpful and our site and stay was perfect! Will definitely come back here next year for 4th of July.

Great, as usual. A little disappointed that traveling in July, the office still closed at 5pm. We had planned on ordering pizza for supper..oh well, everything else was great.

31 ft motorhome w tow stayed 2 nts, easy in/out from Hwy, site level, no shade, cable, WiFi, 2 bars cell, laundry room clean, 3 of 5 machines working, close to town for groceries, restaurants, etc. would stay again.

This was a wonderful koa. Great things for kids. Kind staff. Quiet. Clean. The laundry was ok needs some updates but that’s ok. Bathrooms were very nice. Close to a lot of things. The kids didn’t want to go home. Ice cream place was great. Would come back!

Stayed Memorial Day weekend. Lots of updates taking place at that time, pool repairs and new jump pad installed. Friendly staff, quiet nights. Will definitely stay again!

I was in a tent site unserviced. Very nice with tall pine trees. The amenities were clean and not too far from the site.

The Bangor KOA is right off the highway and easy to get to. Mackenzie, the young lady that works in the front office was very friendly and helpful. She had lots of recommendations on places to eat, and visit! The sites are level and nice sized. It seems like the owners are doing a lot of improvements to the campground. I would like to come next year to see all the upgrades!

We arrived after the office closed. We were very pleased to find our reservation left for us and we happened to be greeted by one of the staff who let us know to call the number on the form and he would try to help us out if we needed anything. Our site was good #64. We have stayed here before and we absolutely will be back. Thank you!

One of our top 10 favorite campgrounds. Clean facilities, friendly staff and nice sites. A real relief after a series of marginal CGs.

We had a wonderful time at the Bangor/Holden KOA! The staff were above and beyond friendly and helpful. I would give the KOA a 10 out of 10 stars! The cabin rental was spotless! The rental had everything that you may need for a get away vacation. The property was well kept and had some hiking trails close by. The camp store was clean and organized. I would highly recommend the Bangor/Holden KOA.

Lance and crew did a really great job. There were some hiccups as there were some major shifts. Lance is doing a great job. I’d say the thing we felt was a little lacking was communication. As seasonal residents, there were a few things that happened that were not well communicated.
