Owners have a bad attitude, the 1st response when we had an issue was to refund the money and leave. Not a businessperson response to try and remedy the situation.

Campground is easy to get to from the highway. There is a lot of road noise (engine braking). The campsites are semi-level and rocky. They are very close together and not spaced out enough compared to other KOA's we've stayed at. Full hook up was nice and no issues with that. Dog park was a nice bonus that we didn't have at other KOA's. Front office and camp workers were nice.

It was an amazing stay! You have the best employees! The location was great, facilities was clean and well maintained, and close to great hiking and attractions! We will definitely stay here again and tell our friends about this KOA!

We arrived a little early and Pam was able to get our site taken care of and we checked in early! Bathrooms were super clean. The whole campground was clean. There are some really cool trails crisscrossing around the campground that were fun to hike. We had a nice shady site with a covered picnic table. We would 100% stay at this KOA if in the area again.

The KOA was nice, the staff was great, and the amenities were clean. The freeway noise is audible, but if you look when you book you know what to expect. We were not disappointed by this, it came with the location. The proximity to Asheville and Canton is great, along with Chestnut Nature Preserve/Berm Park.

Bathrooms clean and functional. Signs asked to wipe down shower after use but no paper towel or squeegee available to do that and when camping your only towel needs to be used more often so not realistic to use that on a public shower. Staff was friendly and helpful. Too bad so close to freeway and our stay had many barking dogs around. Fun ice cream delivery.

Great place for a quick getaway. Bath house was small. Playground was very basic and a good walking distance for kids. Overall, it was a good place to stay.

The campground is fabulous, clean and the staff are very professional!! The highway noise is a big issue. We go camping to enjoy the outdoors and fresh air, not to close up windows and wear earplugs. Avoid sites close to I-40. Wish I could give all top ratings; I-40 is the dealbreaker.

We stayed in several KOAs in the Appalachians this trip, and my husband says by far Asheville West KOA had the best showers! He rates the showers six stars!

Very noisy. One night with very little sleep. Not big Rig friendly. Very tight. All mud and gravel and steep. Site was fairly level. Wouldn't chose this park again for a 40' motorhome with a tow car on behind. Staff was Very friendly!!

Our final destination was Myrtle Beach. We arrived about 8pm and there was still a guide on duty to guide us to our site! We received a text about our site and what time we would be arriving earlier in the day. The staff was extremely nice and they had welcome treats for the guests as well as our dog. This is a great KOA. Probably the best we have ever stayed in!.

Everything was great, except for the laundry - dryer machine did not dry any load fully. These machines, washer and dryer, are seem old or may need servicing. The staff was awesome and we will be back!

Great help in office. She was very welcoming and very friendly. She wanted to let us know that she was there to help us ,if we had any problems. Camp ground was very clean.

As with every KOA we have stayed at, the staff is wonderful and the grounds are spotless. The only reason this isn’t 5 stars is because the small lots with little to no flat outdoor space. There is also a lot of dirt dust due to roads. We will stay there again and be more aware of which lot we select.

We enjoy our weekend at the KOA and loved our site. We did however find it odd the office closes at 6pm every evening and it made it difficult navigating our plans to try to ensure we had enough firewood all evenings before they closed. If there is a camp host we were not made aware of one to help us if there was an issue. We would camp here again.

Campground areas were very well maintained. The showers were nice and clean but a little small. Restrooms very clean and nice. Easy to check in and staff was very pleasant. We were only traveling through so just spent the night. The road coming into the campground needs repair, had a large pothole. Overall, Nice!

The camp is very clean and really well run. The employees are very nice and professional. The pool is also nice. They do a great job of communicating as well The highway noice is a real issue though. Our Class A coach is normally extremely quiet and we have stayed many nights in Walmart parking lots. Unfortunately the closeness of the camp to I40 is crazy loud.

We stayed for one night at this location. We were running behind schedule and would be arriving after the office closed. We received a friendly phone call letting us know instructions would be left at the front office for us. Last minute I inquired if they could accommodate a site that would allow us to leave our rig attached to our truck. They made the change and that helped us greatly!

We got there late, late checkin was good but the campsites power showed an open ground. So I had to call the after hours manager and change sites which was quick and effective communication but just a big inconvenience. Other than that, the stay went well.

We had a great stay at Asheville West KOA. Staff were super friendly and helpful, campsite was clean and easily accessible, and check in/out procedures were super easy. Highly recommend!

Very friendly and clean...dog park is really nice and larger than some. Yes it's off of i40 but they will offer ear plugs etc. But it really wasn't much of a problem for us...
