We had a great time. Everything we expected. Friendly staff who recommended two awesome restaurants for breakfast (biscuit head) and dinner (nine mile). The accommodations were very clean. Would return for a longer stay.

Camping cabin area was amazing. The cabins were situated around a fantastic cooking pavilion. Then there was a common firepit that had swings. Everything was so clean and well care for at this campground. The staff was very professional and eager to help with questions. Over all a FANTASTIC get away! Thank you...

We really enjoyed our overnight stay in the primitive cabins. Everything was very clean and easy access to bathrooms/showers. We loved the kitchen in the center of the cabins that gave us the chance to make dinner.

We made last minute reservations. I called three times because I had a few questions and didn’t think of them all at once. Each time I called they were super friendly and helpful. The cabin we rented was clean and comfortable. The staff on the grounds and office were very friendly. We hope to return soon to enjoy some hiking in the area and will definitely try to stay at this KOA when we do.

Loved the accommodations and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. Traffic noise was unexpected but not much they can do about that. Once inside of the cabin it wasn’t a problem.

Beautiful campground and super friendly hosts! (Especially Heather & Holly! Sally too.) It was a shame that the pond had dried up, hubby was hoping to fish. Our cabin was very comfy and had all we needed (even though the floors were creeky) and the bed was nice & comfortable. Wish it had been busier with events/things to do, but we still had a wonderful time. Thanks for having us! :)

Everyone working there is so sweet and friendly and we LOVE JacJac the cat! She was the highlight of our trip especially when she found us the day after check in and just sat with me on our Kabins porch swing for a while to enjoy the morning! This Kamground is very clean and gorgeous! Our only downsides was that the shower water pressure is lackluster, and the mattresses are so hard and hurt

We needed a place to stay for the night and they had a rustic cabin available. Cabin, bathrooms and showers were very clean. Staff was very friendly. They warned us there could be some noise being they are located next to the interstate and offered ear plugs. We didn’t hear a thing! Would stay again.

It is nice and geared toward RV's. We stayed in a cabin. Cabins are nice and a handy option for not bringing our tent. I40 noise is very close though, so a tent would be even louder.

I purchased a cup of coffee from your store. My coffee cup lid did not fit the cup and resulted in pouring out of the cup onto my new $69.00 sweatshirt. It stained the sweatshirt. I did appreciate the clean cabin and friendly staff

I had a wonderful time staying with my son for our first time in the mountains, let alone North Carolina. The people were great, the staff was fantastic, and the amenities were just what we needed. My only complaint is I wish there was baby changing stations for smaller children in the restroom quarters. Other than that everything was wonderful and I will definitely be back again!

A great KOA experience. We stayed 3 nights in a deluxe 2-person cabin and loved it. Side note that doesn’t affect our rating at all is that the window air conditioner is on the fritz. It cools, sometimes on only 1/2 of the vents and rattles and pops, often all night. We still loved our stay!

The Host family that manages (my bad for not getting their name) is by far the NICEST FAMILY you will ever meet. You better do whatever it takes to keep this family there, This is my second time visiting, and the first time meeting that family at the desk I was impressed, this is the reason we stay there.

Excellent cabin and atmosphere! This was our second stay at this KOA. The people are so friendly and helpful. We had to arrive very late and everything was ready for us. It was so easy! Plus, the cabin was beautiful and clean. The dog park was a big perk for us because we travelled with a puppy. We will definitely stay here again and again.

Loved the resort!!! Just an overnight on our way to the Myrtle Beach KOA but we will be back! A quiet, rial/woodsy resort with great wifi (didn’t have to set up our Starlink! Incredibly friendly staff!

We had DC02. It was a very nice setup except we didn't care for the high top table with rickety stools. Those need to be replaced with a normal height table and 2 chairs before someone gets hurt.

Stayed in a cabin and had a great experience. The staff were wonderful, very helpful and courteous. The facilities were very clean and I will definitely bring my family back for another stay.

The communication with the KOA people was great and helped me with our late check in. The cabin was very clean and the only real problem we had was that the Full sized bed's mattress was incredibly hard. We ended up bringing in our air mattress because we could not sleep on theirs. Otherwise a great stay.

Very friendly and clean...dog park is really nice and larger than some. Yes it's off of i40 but they will offer ear plugs etc. But it really wasn't much of a problem for us...

A lot of raid noise, but they tell you that up front. The camp was clean, the staff hard working and friendly! The sites need to be leveled better, but we were able to level using our blocks in our class A. They only have one dog park, and it's over where most of the long terms are ans if you are in the pull through up top its a long walk. They have a nice pool and nice trail around the camp. I'm not sure I would agree with it being called a holiday ( lack of amenities) but a good journey for a 2 day stay.

I was a tad nervous about the noise reading the reviews, but we did not have any issues with the traffic noise. This is a great jump off point to Asheville and close to anything you would need. The facilities were really well kept and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.
