The staff were all so kind, friendly and helpful. The campgrounds were immaculate. The only reason it doesn't get a perfect score is that it's right next to the interstate. Although the sound really isn't that bad, there is never silence.

The campground is in a great location, very easy to get to and close to downtown Asheville. Bathrooms and showers are great, very clean and easy to access. There's even a pool! I would highly recommend the Asheville West KOA!

The improvements to the primitive tent pad worked nicely. Recovery efforts from Helene look like they are winding down and the job is nearly complete. It was everything one would expect.

The facilities were nice and kept clean. The store hours were good for the one time I needed it. However, the location was so close to the highway you could often hear cars and motorcycles when I was trying to sleep. I used ear plugs to sleep. I reserved tent camping and it rained pretty much every day. The space for my tent, which is an average 4 person tent, got my tent very wet.

When we came back to our site for the night in the second day we found a Jeep parked in one of the two parking slot of our spot. The Jeep had the front windows a few inches down and three large dogs locked inside (inhuman in this 95 degree heat) and very aggressive. They were maybe about 80lbs each and angry and barking aggressively. So much so we thought they might break the windows. We left.

Friendly staff, clean restrooms. I would recommend this campground if you have an RV, but not if you are staying in a tent due to the traffic noise.

Loved that we were the only tent site even though we booked same day, which was spacious and comfortable for 2 of us to camp out of our truck with 2 dogs. Bathrooms were nice and clean and loved that they were heated!!

One of the first campgrounds open after Hurricane Helene, they hosted relief workers and were just a little extra kind, it felt like. Appreciated the clean restrooms and hot showers.

Great staff, clean, accessible sites, easy check in and out. The highway noise can be a bit annoying, but they can't help that and they provide ear plugs

I had a beautiful campsite. I felt safe there, slept well, and even met one of your employees from Ohio, near where I live. She was great. I'm glad for the KOA network. Traveling alone, it's important that I feel secure and welcome. Thank you.

My family and I had the best stay! While we were there we talked about how we should make this a 4thbof July tradition. The staff were all incredibly kind and made us feel right at home. The amenities from the pool to the bathroom and showers were all very clean and safe. It was also close to some great trails and downtown asheville. Would definitely recommend!

Great Wifi. Level site. Kept the pool very clean. Friendly staff. Clean showers and bathrooms. Nice onsite hiking trail (and dog friendly).

Great campground. They have been rebuilding from storm damage and the campground is nice. Sites are mostly level, the pool was clean. Staff was very nice especially when we pulled in right as they were closing. We were only here one night but would stay here again. Thank for for accommodating us!
