    Convenient acess to highway. Easy acess to sights. Very friendly staff. Poor cable reception.

    I loved my stay at the KOA west Asheville, NC! The owners are actively working to improve the facilities and beautify the campground. The buildings are spotless and the staff very friendly, courteous and helpful. An added bonus is the mile of a scenic walking trail around the campground. My dog and I appreciate that after a long day of driving. Thank you! I will be back!

    We enjoyed the hiking trails and the staff was friendly. Showers and restrooms were very clean! Just way too close to the highway. We could hear the traffic all night long.

    Our stay was good but cable issues were very frustrating. Even after getting proper hook up, local channels were fuzzy and cut out. Staff were friendly. Facilities were clean. Hilly location.

    Sites just need a bit more work for leveling and it is obvious some work has been done so they are on the right track

    Loved the Kamping Kabin. Super small with nothing but a couple beds, which is exactly what we wanted. The price was great-- ¼ the price of a decent hotel in the area. Shared bathrooms and showers were very clean. Staff was super friendly. No issues at all. Will definitely be back.

    Friendly staff but grounds need significant improvement. Ended up cutting our visit short due to rain...and the site being a big mud hole.

    Host was very nice to stay after hours as we pulled in to explain the campground set/bathrooms, etc. She was pleasant the next morning when we checked in to pay the balance. Great location! Cabin and restrooms were clean and new! We hope to come back again. (This was our 2nd trip to the area!)

    Very convenient for traveling to the Biltmore Estate. Close to the highway and grocery stores which was a huge time saver!! Dog friendly!

    Loved the kabin kitchen area and swings around the fire pit. Playground wasn’t much fun, but trails were.

    Clean and neat campground. Well kept grounds, very clean bath house, well stocked store at reasonable prices. Cabins and kitchen area is a great setup.

    We didn’t use a lot of the immenities, e.g.,pool, store. Not the right season for some, not of interest for some. Sites were very close together. Noise from the highway was loud and constant. Staff was friendly. Grounds were evidently clean.

    Clean and well kept bath house and Kabins. Loved the outdoor kitchen and firepit with the swings.

    Great place for an overnight stop! Very clean and updated facilities!! The campsites are small and almost all gravel!

    Had a great experience. The staff and owner were so kind and helpful. They were doing upgrades to the landscaping and making improvements to the common areas the entire week. A really good place to camp.

    This campground is what you would expect a campground to be. It offers a "back to nature" experience with the rolling hills covered with an abundance of trees.

    Great Stay. Only complaint is that you can hear traffic from highway

    They were so accommodating with us! The cabins were amazing! And the next morning, they helped us find some places to hiking and see waterfalls! A fantastic place to stay!

    My husband fell in love with this campground, esp after meeting the gals in the gift shop the morning after our stay.

    Was only booked for 0ne night. The facilities were fine, but the noise from the interstate was terrible. Our little dog is bothered by loud noises and she was jumpy the whole stay. That problem can't be helped unless a good sound wall is erected. Got in after 5, never met owners. Should at least stay in office until 7 or 8pm. The sandy surface of the campsite was hard to deal with.

    Great location, clean campground, clean restrooms and friendly staff. However, the sound from the nearby highway was terrible. The vibrations even shook our camper. We had to speak up when talking around the campfire. I would suggest building a fence along the bank, by the highway and planting some evergreen. It would deflect sound and at least bring some mental ease.

    As we were passing through on a road trip, the KOA staff in Asheville area set us up easily on the phone that morning with a great little cabin. The place was clean and the facilities were nice. I would recommend this KOA location to all travelers.

    Owner didn’t seem very welcoming. Other employees seemed nice. Campground not set up conveniently for families or dog owners. Dog Run and playground a far walk from RVs, cabins and tents. Game room too small, another guest stayed in the game room the entire stay, which was awkward for my teenage son to watch TV. Bathrooms in main building were also weird as we had to walk past checkin to shower.

    We were only there one night and rained all night. So I really can't say much about the camp amenities. But I give it high marks because the lady that checked us in was super nice.

    Staff was very nice, helpful. Its a small campground but nice. Going through some construction around the pools ask if it is open.

    The campground is nice, friendly employees, and very close to I-40. In saying very close I am not exaggerating. So close that it sounds like the RV is sitting on the shoulder. We got very little sleep - traffic is loud even with earplugs!
