Lots of waterfront sites, Big sites if you need them, Very clean and well maintained with areas for dogs to walk. Even has a nice store.

Sites are very close. The dog park is small. But a good location, friendly staff, and lovely grounds with a creek running through. A good place for family.

We had a great stay! Lots to do and very friendly staff. Only complaint was we wish we had more privacy. Almost all the spots to our right were free (10 spots or more), but they put us right next to 2 occupied cabins on the left. We will come back!

The Asheville KOA is a wonderful place to stay. We were told that the site was a 30 AMP site when we Reserved the site. However, the Power Mgmt System indicated that there was only 15 Amps available on 1 leg of the 30 Amp plug. Since we were only staying one night we did not take this up with KOA staff. The Asheville KOA is well organizing and worth at least a 2 night stay.

Campground was very nice. We had a riverfront back in site and they have the fire rings close to the river which normally would be awesome but unfortunately it rained and was super windy when we visited so couldn’t use it. It also wasn’t directly next to I-40 so there was no noise from that but there is a train that goes by during the day but didn’t hear it at night.

We're limping home with a broken slide and broken steps on our RV. It's nasty weather, raining and the wind is blowing. We were able to convert our RV spot into a cabin and had a great view of the water and the birds. We were able to hook up the RV so the freezer stayed cold. The best part of all -- we got a great night's sleep. Thank you for taking care of us, we will be back!

This KOA has a couple of beautiful large ponds and a creek run through. It has some very roomy sites however, there poor were not roomy at all. We were right on top of the campers next to us. However, that was our choice they do offer a much wider site with amenities on it, such as chairs and fire places, however they are more expensive. All in all the campgrounds seemed very well maintained

My and my friends had a great time on the camp grounds! We stayed in a tent and we heard a bear walking outside of our tent. The gift shop was nice, and we would recommend to future campers.

Ashville East KOA exceeded all of my expectations. I checked in after hours and Ted came to greet me, escort me to my pad, and provided me with firewood. The clerks at service counter the next morning were exceptionally kind and helpful. The bathrooms were kept impeccably clean (and heated) and the same could be said for the rest of the property - kempt and well-loved. Would highly recommend!

Very friendly staff. They will accommodate all your needs to the best of their ability. One of my favorite campgrounds. But the last two years prices went up quite a bit with literally nothing new. Miss the billiard table. Please put one back!!! Love the dances and DJ on the Holidays.

Excellent. Very grateful. Some of outside deck solar lights not working. Recommend a gate at top of steps to deck to keep a dog free but contained. Extra electric heater was a plus. You are great!!

Beautiful scenery! Cabin was cozy. The cabin & arcade need maintenance. The bedroom floor was in bad shape soft & peeling. The pots in the kitchen were bad. Peeling Teflon. Afraid we would ingest it so I didn't use and all pots had loose handles (scalding hazard!) need replaced. Almost every machine in the arcade was broken. We still enjoyed but $$ needs to be reinvested into the property.

I stayed at a FHU back in site. Clean campground. The river running through the campground is a great feature. The kids enjoyed the playground and other kid activities. The sites are tight. Decent location and drive to Asheville.
