The Asheville east team was very welcoming and got us parked quickly in our pull through. They also had plenty of room for our extra truck and trailer in the overflow parking. The facilities were awesome. Thank you all very much.

Always enjoyable. Would suggest someone look at branches on large tree at E21. Hanging low enough to scrape awning when extended.

What a Great Place. Stayed under trees and kept cool. Staff could not do enough for us. When we come back to the area we will stay here.

The staff members are friendly and professional. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. They had cool activities for the kids, like having the Swannanoa Fire Dept bring two fire engines! The nature all around was beautiful and fun.

Great location. Grounds are well maintained. Washers and dryers need to be replaced asap. There was a note that they were working on it. It is a huge park to only have 3 washers and 2 dryers working. We tried to stay an additional day due to Hurricane Debby and were told we could, but we would have to move. We were in a premier spot. We ended up leaving.

We had a great weekend at the Asheville East KOA! Our kids love going in the river and riding bikes around the campground. We also love the cafe’s coffee and breakfast!

Nice riverside site. Daily trash pickup is a plus. Lovely folks in the office. Very pet friendly.

Too many geese. Lots of poop to step in. Otherwise very clean. Only issue was we were looking forward to kayaking in lake and tubing in river. Unfortunately we wouldn't do either. The lakes are more like a small pond with little to no water movement. The river area to actually tube without hitting rock is short. Wasn't what we expected, but has a great and friendly staff and had ok time overall.

This is a typical run down poorly maintained KOA. We stayed here because it was convenient to our other plans but it will indeed be our last. The site was so unlevel that the entire right side was several inches off the ground. The sites are so close we could not even open the awning. The water pressure was so high, it blew our water lines within minutes of hooking up. Absolutely will not return.

We really enjoyed our stay in section E at this KOA. It is a great campground for families with lots for the kids to do. The weekend activities are well thought out and the staff was very pleasant and welcoming. My tween loved the on-site coffee truck. The lake loops are great for a nice little walk and we loved that the campground was so bike friendly. Good job, Asheville East owners and staff!

Nice park but in and around our site the ground was COVERED with Geese poop. Very unpleasant!! Had to walk my dog who I faithfully clean up after through this not to mention my shoes. Sorry but my next visit won’t be there and that’s unfortunate as my daughter lives in Asheville

Excellent week we had. Weather was great, staff was great and the campground looked the best that I’ve seen it in 3 plus years now. The landscaping upkeep is getting back to the way it used to be for the past 25 years that I’ve been visiting this KOA They had lots of fun and activities on the weekend for kids and adults. Scott is doing a remarkable job in getting this campground looking

Staff was very friendly and most helpful. They worked all the time and still managed to have smiles on their faces. The campground was older in my opinion. For the size of the campground. I would recommend a larger pool. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant stay and will go back!

My husband couldn’t get any hot water for a shower. The shower plumbing needs an upgrade. A worker took our step and mat while we were on a day trip, and we had to wait for the worker to come in the next day. There was no lost and found- and we were clearly staying another night if he had checked with the office before taking our things. The river and lake are beautiful �

Beautiful lake and grounds. Camp space are a bit tight though. Very nice that we had an escort to our spot! Lake carries sound-wish the people camping across from us would have not assumed that everyone around them liked Heavy Metal Music. After I texted a complaint, (hopefully I am not the only one that thought it was rude) It did eventually stop-Great place for kiddos and doggo! Nice green area!

we were assigned D19. it had rained and there was a lot of mud on that lot where the water drained down to the water. there was high brush on the bank of the lake which looked more like a small pond. the staff was very friendly and helpful and allowed us to move to D18 lot. we had a nice time there but for the distance it is from us and the cost per night, we were not impressed enough to return.

New Management makes all the difference Had a great stay. Thanks to Scott and staff for job well done. I can’t remember her name but the young lady that did BINGO last night was awesome. Bass were not biting like they normally do so anyway to get pond stocked. Seems to need it. Bathrooms were just ok and could use more TLC. Scott….you’re doing a great job. Take a day off

Most beautiful RV park we've ever stayed in. The staff put the capital C & S in Customer Service - they were OUTSTANDING!! This was the inaugural/test run for my 43' Class A pulling an aluminum tilt trailer hauling my 25' overlanding dually Sprinter van - total length is 74' and weighed in at around 55,000 lbs. And my wife would not drive with me so we had, yet, a third vehicle. THANK YOU!! ;-)

The stay was wonderful we had a great time, but something needs to be done with the dump station. I didn’t like that I had to back into it but that’s ok, but you can not get the camper level or leaning towards the drain without putting level blocks I was not the only person who had issues with that

The lots are very small/narrow campers are on top of each other. There is very little grass to enjoy. There is so much geese sh*t it's rather nauseating, You can't walk on what little grass you get without stepping on it. Check in was pleasant enough and so was the kid who took us to our site. For us, this is off our list of places to stay.

Facilities need upgrading. Laundry was closed. Bathroom had large sections of paint peeling from ceiling. Tried to shower but after 10 minutes, still no hot water. Staff said due to ‘over use’. The grounds are nice and reasonably well kept. Stay cost $60 so all things considered, an okay value.

Excellent campground. Lots to do for kids, easy to get into and out of. We had a very long pull through right near the entrance. Great location near the Biltmore.

So glad we were finally able to get here. We stayed 3 nights and had an amazing time. The new facilities are great considering the campground was nearly wiped out by the hurricane. Campsite was bang on level with patio furniture, a fire pit and a beautiful river nearby. Christy was SUPER helpful getting a couple logistical plans handled for me. Eric and Andy were also helpful. They had a bunch of fun activities for the kids including a pancake breakfast! We will be coming back very soon.

Such a well run and maintained campground! Staff was friendly, helpful and visible around camp ground. Everything was very clean.I would highly recommend1

Lots of service. Led us to our camping stall. Helped me put the RV in straight. Helped me hook up utilities. Trash pick up every morning. Events and activities.
