We had another great weekend with the friendly folks at KOA East Asheville. This trip, we stayed in a camping cabin as the temperatures were forecasted to be in the low 20s. We stayed warm and comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed our time, as we always do. This is an exceptional KOA. We can't wait for our next visit!

Had a really relaxing stay at Asheville East KOA. We stayed in a Deluxe Cabin and it was amazing! So Clean, updated cabin, comfortable Beds, great outdoor activity space. Looking forward to another visit in the near future.

Asheville East KOA is a lovely place with helpful staff. It would be a nicer stay if the setting was more wooded. I would recommend planting trees every year. Decades from now the property would be priceless.

My husband and I stayed in one of your deluxe cabins. It was very nice and we were very comfortable. One evening it got below 20° and we were plenty warm. A couple of things I might change would be the lightI g in the bathroom. The lights are way too bright for a woman who is trying to apply her make up. The living room could benefit from a side table with a small lamp, as well as a coffee table.

This was one of the nicest KOA cabins we have ever stayed in. It was spotless!!! Soooo clean! The campground host was very nice. We were in the area to visit Montreat College, and would absolutely stay here again!

It was are first time camping at a KOA. Our friends stayed in their camper and we had the deluxe cabin. We weren’t sure what to expect considering cabins aren’t the main focus of the campground. The cabin was very clean, well equipped and every bit as nice as a hotel room. In fact, my wife called it “glampimg”. We would definitely recommend and stay again.

Friendly staff, reacted fast to our questions before the stay and gave recommendations on the area. Our cabin was great with view on the lake, with heater and even a TV. Bathrooms may need an update and you can hear the street.

The check in and out process was smooth and easy. Our camping cabin was clean and ready to go. Also, good location for visiting Biltmore, Blue Ridge Pkwy and hiking.

Location convenient, staff friendly.. Let’s talk bathrooms. Out of 4 men’s washrooms each one had plugged toilets - for 5 days! Washrooms poorly, or not at all.

It is always wonderful. This is the first time I overnighted in Deluxe Cabin 6 when it was so very cold outside. The heater primarily heats a space of several feet right in front of it, but not the whole cabin very well. Wonder if there should be some supplemental heat available?

We were very disappointed in our stay this year. We normally don’t have any problems at this KOA and enjoy our vacation. This time the campground had a lot of kids and teenagers running around out of control, doing things they shouldn’t have been doing. It made us very uncomfortable and scared our dogs. We also had a bike stolen. We didn’t feel safe and won’t go back to this KOA any tim

We had a wonderful stay! There were so many things for us to do as a family and we loved just sitting by the fire enjoying the mountain and lake! The staff is such a joy! Thank you!!!

The campground itself was great. We stayed in a delux cabin but with no cooktop, but a gas grill. The downside is the campground is very near a busy road and busy train track. Our kids loved the nearby playground and we all enjoyed walking by the river and around the lake. If you want some quiet though, pick a site in the back by the lake. The proximity to the noisy traffic is my only complaint.

We had a nice time staying in the cabin, but did miss having a small, foldable table to eat at inside because it was too cold to eat outside. Also, the bed was unnecessarily large and took up space that could have made room for clothes and other items. We did appreciate having hot water and a mini fridge. I would just add that the KOA should be participating in a recycling program.

Wasn’t as clean as I like as I have OCD. Toilet made terrible noise when flushed. Loved the walking trail around the ponds. Didn’t expect the RR tracks right behind our cabin along with busy highway. All in all, a fun time. Music from pavilion for Halloween party was a bit annoying. We will probably stay again sometime.

We were camping with friends and when we discovered our campsites were not very close together like we thought we asked if they could move us to be closer together and they were very accommodating. The facilities were very clean and great Halloween decorations.

Really nice campground. Doesn't have the same space around campsites as a state park would, but it was really nice. The staff is friendly and helpful. Very easy reservations and check in process. Bathhouse are very clean and the grounds are well kept.

This place is so well-maintained and beautiful, it's a little oasis right off the highway. Perfect place to stay while hiking and exploring the area. The staff is so nice and helpful. Just do it, make your reservation and have some fun in arguably the best part of the NC mountains!
