Please check the blinds in the cabin to ensure that all of the slats are there a bit unnerving to think that the camper next door could see in the cabin. Most of the deck lights were out or very dim. Otherwise a great stay. Thanks

This place never disappoints. Friendly staff. Friendly neighbors, great fishing and very comfortable cabin. The weather was crappy on sunday but that's just my luck. Always will be a koa member and visit the swannanoa location at least twice a year

Beautiful campground. Well-kept and friendly staff, but the sites are too small and too close together. At least the premium ones are. We were hoping for something better for the amount of $ we paid.

It is one of the best KOAs I have been to. The property is beautiful. The employees are great. The bathrooms were clean and the shower actually had water pressure. I will be back

We're limping home with a broken slide and broken steps on our RV. It's nasty weather, raining and the wind is blowing. We were able to convert our RV spot into a cabin and had a great view of the water and the birds. We were able to hook up the RV so the freezer stayed cold. The best part of all -- we got a great night's sleep. Thank you for taking care of us, we will be back!

Excellent. Very grateful. Some of outside deck solar lights not working. Recommend a gate at top of steps to deck to keep a dog free but contained. Extra electric heater was a plus. You are great!!

Beautiful scenery! Cabin was cozy. The cabin & arcade need maintenance. The bedroom floor was in bad shape soft & peeling. The pots in the kitchen were bad. Peeling Teflon. Afraid we would ingest it so I didn't use and all pots had loose handles (scalding hazard!) need replaced. Almost every machine in the arcade was broken. We still enjoyed but $$ needs to be reinvested into the property.

Great as always! We had trouble with heat in a cabin and they were on top of it quickly! We come to Asheville to see our daughter and have stayed here three times - we will be back!

The stay was great. The firepits are deep and hard to get fires to burn, they need more air holes. The bathrooms could us a deep clean. The lakes have lots of trash on the shores. Would love to see it cleaned up.

Beautiful KOA in a pretty area! We loved the peaceful lakes and river right outside our cabin. The geese were noisy some nights, but that's nature and we bought earplugs. Clean cabin, clean bathhouses. We enjoyed the easy access to restaurants, grocery stores, and attractions nearby. We would love to come back here!

Great staff. Facilities clean and well kept. Only criticism, and it’s a small one, having a chair or bench in the unit would be nice; many other KOAs have this.

In spite of the crazy weather, had a good time! When the heater wasn't working correctly, they were very quick to come and replace it.

Well maintained, just got too cold at night to heat the cabin with the existing heater. Would have needed electric blanket or additional space heater

Our stay was nice. The cabin is quaint & clean. The only thing I think you really need is a bench or something to put your bags on in the bedroom. There is plenty of room for it. Having to keep our bags on the floor was not pleasant. Also another mirror somewhere would be nice.

Very nice, close to the historic towns, shopping, restaurants. Best wi-fi of the 9 KOAs we revently stayed at. Clean cabin and on a pretty lake with a walking trail. Cabin was nice, but in need of repairs/updates. The mattress was terrible, not sure why the KOA thought this was OK for guests, and the blinds had many broken slats.

Really nice campground. Doesn't have the same space around campsites as a state park would, but it was really nice. The staff is friendly and helpful. Very easy reservations and check in process. Bathhouse are very clean and the grounds are well kept.

This place is so well-maintained and beautiful, it's a little oasis right off the highway. Perfect place to stay while hiking and exploring the area. The staff is so nice and helpful. Just do it, make your reservation and have some fun in arguably the best part of the NC mountains!
