On Sat evening we left for dinner and our granddaughter and her friend came back to the campground with us to visit. When they stopped at the office to check in, the overnight gate keeper was VERY rude to my guests and myself. There is no call for the way he treated them The campground is a nice enough campground but his way of treating them was very uncalled for. I doubt you will see us again

We value your feedback, Guests are issued car tags upon check in and we keep visitor tags available for those who arrive after the majority of the party check in. Without a car tag all incoming traffic does get stopped in order to verify their guest/visitor status.

We have been staying there for about 10 years now. We come in for the Angola Ballon Festival. The campground is clean, the staff are nice, the amenities are great.

I brought my grands for the 1st time. We try out a different one every year. I think this one made it to the top of our list. Thank you we had a great time and can't wait to come back!

Lots of amenities. The weekends very crowded and too many kids for my taste. Many golf carts with loud radios.

Golf carts were not following the speed limit rules, they had kids driving them (we saw a 10 year old sized child driving one with 10 other children in it). The normal campground etiquette is to keep noise to a minimum, at least with your radios, and TV's. Our neighbors had theirs turned up so loud both Friday and Saturday nights that we could hear them inside our RV. Will not be back!

We Had a great 4 night stay at the Angola KOA. The campground was clean and well maintained. The kids absolutely loved the pool and lake area, the wife and I were big fans of the lazy river in the pool area. This was our first visit here and now plan to make this a yearly trip.

Really nice campground. Everyone was very friendly. Plenty of things to do or just hang out. I would recommend this campground to anyone traveling.

Staff was very friendly. We loved the pool with the lazy river. Only thing would be less sand and more grass on the site. When it rained it was very messy going in and out of the trailer. Overall great campground and we are already talking about going back.

first site was on the backside of the park, but it was such an incline we couldn't level the 40' motorhome with self levelers. The park is not big rig friendly in my opinion with narrow streets, sharp turns, and while the streets have names, the map does not. The 2nd site worked well as it was outside the gates near the office/store.

Nice campground, very clean. Friendly people. Only a couple issues. Camp store closed at 5 pm during the week. Missed out on us buying some firewood. They $20 extra to book a specific spot.

Overall we had a fantastic time and was very happy with the campground, activities, and the firework display was one of the best seen, and we’ve seen a lot! One area noted needing improvement is the cleanliness of the bathrooms. They really need to be cleaned at least a couple times per day!!! Also, another bathroom stall at the pool would be great as well as a couple of pergolas.

We stay at Angola KOA again and again because we love the atmosphere, activities, people, layout of the campground, staff and everything about the campground. We would absolutely seasonal here if we didn’t have travel sports to contend with. Our hope is to seasonal here at some point because we enjoy it that much!!

We loved it. Was busy over July 4 but the fireworks were GREAT !. If I had to make a suggestion , they need more pool loungers . People save them with towels , there are no seats unless you bring ones yourself. Some loungers were never used while we were at pool. The pool is very nice with a lazy river . The park is clean and well kept. Staff friendly. We are thinking about being seasonal.

The fireworks were incredible! I put a lower review due to our row of campers losing power twice during the weekend. It was remedied but seems like thats something that needs addressed for a long term solution. We were charged $20 for choosing our site, not sure if that was due to asking to be by our friends. If I knew we would've been charged I would've picked a quieter site away from US 20.

Very small pool, lack of restroom facilities, water pressure at campsite was minimal for us and our 2 other friends camping, poor store hours. Good fireworks

Nice campground overall. With the amount of sites they have there should be more bathrooms. Additionally, the pool was packed frequently, it's a rather small pool for that many sites. An additional pool or enlarging the exsisting one would be a huge asset. Also, one bathroom at the pool was inadequate with that many guests. The fireworks on July 5th were fantastic.

Golf carts were ridiculously priced, cost more to rent one than the cost of the site and they could barely make it up any of the hills. Bathrooms also need to be cleaned more often, they were constantly dirty.

Amazing! All I can say! Very clean, so much for not only the kids, but the adults! We will be back! Also, the firework show was the best I’ve ever seen!

this place is WAY to expensive. THE BAD THING IS FOLKS WILL PAY IT INSTEAD OF GOING TO SOME OTHER PLACE THAT IS JUST AS NICE OR BETTER FOR HALF THE PRICE. OUR INTERNET STOPED, THE POWER STOPPED AND THE STAFF WAS UNFRIENDLY. THE LAZY RIVER AND POOL IS TOOOOO SMALL FO THE NUMBER OF CAMPERS. BECAUSE OF THE FOURTH OF JULY WEEKEND, KOA RAISED THE RATES BY 50%. I WON'T BE BACK!!! SUCKED!!!

Our stay has always been delightful. The staff is extremely friendly. The spots are nice. The only disappointment I have with the campground are the restrooms. At all campgrounds and we travel extensively across the USA if the restrooms are nice that’s a big deal and the restrooms have been the same for years we enjoy the friendly staff.

You must not have visited the main Bath house, renovated this spring with new showers, stalls, toilets, touchless sinks, stronger AC and better ventilation. Next time you swing by the park make sure you take a look at it.

Our pull thru site was very narrow...not much space between campsites. You NEED another pool and more bath houses considering how large the campground is. Campers shouldn't have to walk 0.5 miles to the nearest restroom. And office hours need to be extended for the summer. Closing at 5pm during the week and 7/8 pm on the weekend isn't best practice over the busy July 4th week.

Our patio pull thru sites in the 100s are usually ranked as very comfortable. We extended hours over the holiday weekend on Thursday to 8pm and kept staff for firewood, ice, and late arrivals until midnight Thursday to Saturday near the store main entrance.

Way too many people, but it is Holiday weekend I get it, Only complaint is the bathrooms and showers were nasty, maybe during holiday weekends cleaning crews go in every few hours to keep clean.

This KOA is fantastic! It’s huge, with lots of people, but it is ran like a well oiled machine. We were there over the 4th of July and everything was perfect! There were activities for everyone, the pool was clean and fun, the lake and obstacle course was fun. The bathrooms are kept clean and everyone is so nice and helpful. The firework show was spectacular! Highly recommend!

A ton of seasonal sites, but that was ok. All the golf carts do get a little crazy but generally people were very respectful. The lake blow-ups were fantastic and the kids always love them. Bathrooms were always clean and hot water for showers. Overall a great place.

The camp sites are too close together. The store needs to be open later. Additional restrooms are needed at the pool. Vending or a snack bar would be nice at the pool. The inflatables at the lake were nice. Staff was polite. Campground was clean.

Clean cabins, clean pool, friendly staff- especially Darby. Bud was a great help also with the pontoon rental. It was full vacancy the 4th of July weekend and there were no issues at all. Everything ran smoothly, not over crowded.

We stayed in a cabin over memorial weekend. Very impressed with all there was to do for the kids (even with crummy weather). Nice facilities!! our cabin was so spacious and VERY clean!! The activities were so fun. Everyone we ran into was so welcoming including all the staff!! We really appreciated feeling at home for the weekend! Definitely plan to be back to enjoy with warmer weather!! If you have kids/teenagers this place is a must!!!

We come here a couple times every year with family. Has a ton of stuff to do for kids, including lake with beach, lazy river and pool, jumping pads and a couple of playground, fishing peers etc. We love it here!

PROS: Looking for a great spot for kids to have a blast during the day? This is THE place. My son is almost nine and he loved the pool with lazy river, the activities (golf cart candy parade and tie dye) and just biking and hanging out with neighbor kids. There are so many wonderful choices for children and I value that! I found the bathrooms to be fairly clean for the amount of people camping on this weekend. CONS: The site we were given (733) was an actual nightmare to park our rig on. Backing in, even for someone skilled, was horrible. There were bricks in the road (to prevent water ponding) and it popped our tire. There was not a way around them backing into the site. We were not given an alternative site and that was infuriating. Do NOT choose site 733 if you want to start your weekend off peacefully. The lady at the front that checked us in even jokingly said “geez I hope you don't get stuck trying to get into that spot” but I had no clue what she meant until we saw the spot. What a shame. The second con is the noise. Many of the sites are seasonal and the guests have golf carts. It makes walking around, especially with littles on bikes, not only unnerving but downright dangerous. With that said, they cruise around, music blasted, until quiet hours which begin at 11pm. With an exhausted kiddo at 9pm, the noise can be a lot. It's too much truthfully. If you're hoping for a little bit of peace, you'll be sad here. If you love a good ruckus and have kids up super late-this is your dream spot. Again, don't choose site 733 though. You've been warned. 🙃
