Love this Koa, but this time there was issues. Our group booked 5 cabins. On our Sunday, July 12 there was a note posted on door. Stating pool closed!!!! As many of our group had very young children this was something we felt should have been emailed to us before our arrival. Wi-fi was out 1st day also. The inconvenience and disappointment made our stay start very disappointing. Otherwise I loved

The day we checked in was told the pool was going to be closed for the next three days but fortunately was only down for 1 1/2 days but still no discounts for staying anyway only was requested a refund and find another campground to stay at that’s all they could do! (Like that’s an option ) we stayed anyway and had good week but they need to state that more clearly that the pool may be closed

Cabin 901 was in the perfect spot overlooking the lake with plenty of shade and renting the golf cart made it very easy to get around the campground. Everyone was friendly and professional.

Would of been nice if we had prior knowledge of WiFi being down with an email or being informed at check in but was not. We understand things happen, we were compensated for it. That was appreciated but not necessary. Thursday night we ran out gas for the grill. We needed to cook dinner still and called the after hour number and left a message. The tank got replaced next day at checkout.

We stayed in a cottage. It was lovely. Our only complaint is there's no WIFI available to our cottage. Cell phone reception in the area isn't great. I know we're "camping" but let's be real. We stayed in a cottage so we expect to use the internet since it's in the amenities listed staying in a cottage. The rest of the campground was updated with WIFI reception towers except where we were.

Office staff very friendly and helpful. Campground was scenic. Cabin experience was poor. The cabin was small, there was mold by the shower, water oozed from the kitchen floor, and there were a lot of flys. Considering the price charged the, the value was very low.

I stay every year but this year I was alittle disappointed my cabin was dirty The shower was not clean. Had dog hair all over it a Cleaning girls came, and they were not in there very long. There was dog hair all over the steps. It was never swept. Also I had a 2 year old and was facing the pond don’t think that is very safe

The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were treated like family. Everything was clean and picked up. We are coming back next year and will tell our friends how great it was.

We stayed in cabin 244. Everything was great. The dishes were not clean and we washed them. A light was out and almost ran out of toilet paper. We would have asked for more if needed but maybe housekeeping could check these things. We love the campground and all the amenities.

It was no fault of the campground but it rained and we only were able to use the rented pontoon for about 3 hours. We will be back for sure and hope the next time isn’t a wash out like this stay was.

5 stars! Angola Hogback Lake KOA is one of the best family campgrounds in Indiana. The campground is clean, the cabin was amazing, and there are nonstop activities for kids and adults all weekend long. The fishing tournament, pool, lake, and cornhole tournament made our trip unforgettable. Management and staff were friendly, visible, and worked hard to keep everything running smoothly and safe.

people are often rude and store closes too early to be helpful. stove in cabin 902 does not consistently work and had to go out to Walmart late at night to buy our own. but- we keep coming back because we love the lazy river.

We were there during the storm, warnings came after the tornado, bathrooms were to full. I had rented a cabin, no power until Saturday at 3. No communication on activities being canceled, my grand children had decorated their golfcart. Been coming here for the past 5 years,

The cabin was wonderfully cleaned, and inviting for not only our children but our dog as well. Pots and pans provided made for easy cooking, we had a wonderful time on the patio grilling out and were right beside the pool. The air conditioning was great at night.

Regardless of the power outage, they tried so hard to make everything work! Eventually the power came on but overall was a wonderful stay. Lots of fun things to do and a fun place to hangout with family.

This is my second time there and I liked it. The only issue was that they did not have WIFI all the time and AT&T barely works there. I could barely call and only 1 of my group was able to get connected to the internet.

It was no fault of yours that the storm came through and the power outage resulted. Our location was great since our desire was to be near the pool as much as possible.

I rented a cabin and someone stole my yeti cooler, the internet is horrible, we had to call about the sink because it wasn’t working. Not a pleasant stay for the price.

Staff was snippy about ice cream station when I came in at 4:30 and they close at 5. They said the close ice cream an hour before closing to sanitize. I camped here before it turned to koa and they never closed things before the actual closing time.

Return key box did not allow for attached flashlight in slot. Dropped key and clipped light onto box. Might want to exclude light on gate keys. Good stay traveling through Indiania.

Only suggestion is to make the tub/shower safer. Needs grip mats and grab bar. Too slippery!

We had a nice weekend at the cabin . The the red one across from the pool is very nice. We did not get to enjoy the lake due to weather, but I’m sure during the summer it will be great. Pool is very nice. Besides the long drive, I would recommend this KOA.

Clean and people were friendly. Too many rules and some of the staff extremely rude and we kept getting told something different. So that was very frustrating. I wish I had the ladies name who was rude. I actually was going to have them get a manager and ask for a refund because she was so rude and made me feel unwelcome but we just drove 5.5 hours

It was fun and we will definitely be back. Clean place the cabin was great and my kids had a lot of fun. The one thing we didn’t like is kids and an adult kept coming in front of our campsite/cabin to fish. They were stepping all over and threw our stuff leaving trash lay around. It was very annoying and I finally had to say something to the people and keep telling the kids to pick up their tras

It was great! There is plenty to keep the kids busy. The pool is awesome for everyone. I like that there is plenty of seating outside at each cabin. Also a table at every site.

Luckily we brought our Blackstone. The grill had gas but had to use a lighter to ignite and when you turned up the burners the flame would not increase needed cleaning. The tub didn't have a plug in it so it was hard to bathe my child. The good things were the pool party and the friendliness of your staff. Overall good stay and incredibly clean cabin and facility.

I had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed my time at the park. The staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating throughout my visit. I brought my dog along, and we especially loved spending time at the KampK9 and taking relaxing walks around the beautiful grounds. I’m already looking forward to coming back again soon!

We were there for 2 weeks stay in the cabins, everything was clean and well upkept! The biggest issue we had was the constant issues with the Wi-Fi. TV was incredibly hard to watch at any point in time being as it would need to connect to a hotspot just to work, which burned up data of our own. They most definitely should consider a different provider because whoever they have now was terrible.

We had a nice stay. Really liked your location. The only problems were the tv couldn't get it to connect and we did not like the space between the door and bed in the cabin oour dog didn't even like it she didn't want to walk in.

Heater filter "change filter light" was on when we arrived. The filter was filthy--1/2 in of dust at least in it! Please have your cleaning staff check this. When I mentioned this to the assistant manager, Ben, on duty, he was very defensive, trying to blame us for the problem. I asked him when the filter was last changed and he said they don't keep records!

The campground was very nice, the cabin was nice but tiny! The WiFi was not working and we don't have any tv subscriptions so couldn't watch tv! We would stay here again, would just plan better next time!

It was lovely to stay in a Kabin with my dogs that had a bathroom! I also loved the large open space where I could walk my dog along the trail and get exercise for all of us after a long drive.

Great KOA with clean facilities, friendly staff, and a well‑run campground. The only “problem” here isn't the campground — it's the handful of guests who think the rules don't apply to them.The staff does an excellent job keeping the park safe and enjoyable for everyone, and sometimes that means enforcing rules. Unfortunately, some people get upset when they're asked to follow them and leave one‑star reviews that don't reflect the actual experience. If you appreciate a campground that's organized, safe, and well‑maintained, this KOA is exactly what you want.
