Absolutely enjoyed our stay. It was so peaceful, and there were so many things for our son to do. He absolutely enjoyed the swimming pool being open still. The staff were incredible, very helpful.

The pool stayed open this year until 9/15/25! but the nights dipping down to the 40's meant it was time to close it up.

One of our favorite campgrounds. Been coming here yearly since we started camping in 2020. Plus its only a hour from where we live. Yet a great escape from the real world. Staff are always kind and helpful. The lake front sites are the best

We were able to stay at our favorite site. (#305). If this would ever become a seasonal, we would rent it every year FOREVER!! Another great stay at this campground.

We came in late but there was an employee still at the office...she was incredibly nice and helpful. Thank goodness because the KOA is tucked in back of a somewhat gated community ...and was almost 4 miles off of the the main highway (route 80). I would have been impossible to find a site if she had not been there! The campground is huge and very well groomed as were the individual sites.

First spot I was on wasn't suitable for a 30ft class c. Wifi didn't work on that spot at all. Second spot wifi worked sometimes. Way over priced. I've stayed at nicer places with full concrete pads for less money and cable and wifi.

We’ve been staying at KOA Hogback Lake for quite a few years started out renting cabins to now we camp in our camper same time every year celebrating our Anniversary there. We love it there, and have always been treated great, staff super friendly and love that our dogs are very welcome and a dog park is provided. Great pool and fun activities, thank you for a fantastic time. Be back next year

This was our 3rd stay at the campground. First time with any issues. We checked in at 830pm Friday. Saturday morning we woke up to bee’s and hornets around our site. Also noticed small bugs all over our outdoor things. After finding out they were a form of tick we notified grounds and they stated they knew about the issue. No resolve happened. Options they gave us were not plausible!

We appreciate your feedback, We spray for dozens of pests across the park thru the year both independently as well as with licensed contractors. The insect on your site was identified as a mite, Sometimes nature can get a little closer than campers appreciate. multiple resolutions were offered

The campground is nice enough, but the sites are very close together. We had a lake view site and there wasn’t much room on the site. The fire pit was also at a weird spot and we felt it was too close to the vehicles at times. The pool and lake were nice to have, but the pool area size wasn’t able to accommodate the demand the camp ground had for a busy holiday weekend.

We were in Site 9 on the beach. The grandkids loved it, most fun. We will be back next year!

Beautiful campsite with nice new bathrooms. Lots of amenities for kiddos and special activities across the board. Great place to visit for a vacation! Highly recommend!

We love staying on the fishing pond. However after multiple stays here, the fishing pond looked TERRIBLE. There was so much muck and lily pads and smelly seaweeds in the water that it made it difficult to fish without getting caught on something. The water needs some attention as soon as possible. We love the huge sites, full hook.

Without any rain for the past several weeks our fish pond was definitely struggling in appearance. We treat it as naturally as we can with aeration, specific fish, and positive treatments. Its both a pond but has a flow to it like a stream, without that flow, it starts to be unsightly.

We never want to stay in the area we were placed again. It was so loud from the road noise on US20, we could not hear the reson next to us talk. We heard the trucks passing during the night. We do enjoy the pool.and the games available, but the LOUD road noise isn't worth it. We would have to confirm a site well away from the road noise without being charge the extra fee before we would come back

The only issue we had was that we were never notified about any events or anything thru the texts like when we stayed at other KOA campgrounds.I even asked a question thru text message but never recieved any communication until i left the campground . It said thanks for camping with us. from (888) 448-9231 I expect I will not hear from this message either.

We were generally disappointed. It is obviously geared primarily for seasonal camping. We were surprised that given the number of sites the pool was relatively small and there was a lack of facilities throughout the park (bathrooms/showers). We left a day early. The beach area while nice was also relatively small. By our count seasonal campers easily account for three fourths of the camp.

The only issue is that we were put on lot 904 and our trailer was way too long. It was horrible to back in and the front lots truck was parked in the front which made it worse. Last time we locked in a site on the lakevwe told there were only a few lots long enough to fit ours and those were on the beach. Otherwise we love it there and had friends also book that weekend and have praised this koa.

Had a great time. Like seeing maintenance done on things like water hook up at site and dump stations. Appreciate then taking prompt action when weekenders (usually not seasonals) cause issues to keep the campgrounds nice, fun and safe for everyone. I thought my past visit had trash pickup if out by 10 am. I left a bag out one day by 8 am and it was still there at noon.

This is a huge KOA, with numerous activities, including an amazing pool area and a large central dog park. A wide variety of sites, from back in lake side sites to large pull through sites along the fish pond.

We were handed a map with no street names on it and had a heck of a time figuring out where our spot was. Our rig is a 43 footer. At a place this big you need a person to guide you in. Lucky for us some me nice full timers help us after they found the sight.

Nice campground. The bathrooms were clean and the campground was quiet. We enjoyed the pool area and playgrounds. The inflatables were in pretty deep water and the smallest one was under-inflated so it was not usable for younger children.

We had a wonderful stay at Hogback Lake. The kids had an amazing time at the pool and the lake with the inflatables! We rented a pontoon boat and it was incredible to be able to go out onto the lake. Cons: The internet was not working. The lakefront site was sort of tight with the camper (28ft) and truck on it. However, nothing that would deter us from staying there again!

The Angola KOA has always been a great place to stay. It is a clean well kept park with plenty of activities. The only feedbck I would give is for the safety of the golf carts, and everyone at the park. On Sunday mornings from 10am-Noon to put a ban on using golf carts. There were a lot of carts whizzing around as everyone was leaving. With the narrow roads it is hard to navigate with carts.

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was perfect! So much to do, swimming in the lake with the floating obstacles was so much fun. The swimming pool was great to cool off, corn hole, pickleball, you name it, they have it! Great weekend and will definitely be back.

We have been enjoying this campground for the past few years however this year, they made a big impression on us. After a storm, they had a significant power outage. We arrived expecting them to not accommodate for anything but they gave us 50% off for each day the power was out and they are so friendly and pleasant. The park is nice, the pool and lazy river are great. There is so much to do. Highly recommend.

Great KOA with clean facilities, friendly staff, and a well‑run campground. The only “problem” here isn't the campground — it's the handful of guests who think the rules don't apply to them.The staff does an excellent job keeping the park safe and enjoyable for everyone, and sometimes that means enforcing rules. Unfortunately, some people get upset when they're asked to follow them and leave one‑star reviews that don't reflect the actual experience. If you appreciate a campground that's organized, safe, and well‑maintained, this KOA is exactly what you want.
