Was difficult checking in. No answer on all 3 numbers, but got there in the end and Barb was very nice.

Staff was friendly & helpful. Water frontage was beautiful, spacious, peaceful with multiple docks. Buildings were well maintained. The reason we rated so low & are unlikely to recommend staying there is because of the multitudes of seasonal & annual renters who have been allowed to personalize their sites with outbuildings, lawn ornaments/furniture, self built patios/fences & plan ol’ junk.

Hogback KOA is a unique campground with a large number of sites both long term and short term stay. Our long term guests contribute to a great camping atmosphere and community often supporting our great seasonal activities like cornhole tournaments, bingo, and live music performances.

Stay was great. Would only suggest updating the text messages that go out if possible. They were conflicting with times the camp store was actually open.

Nice campground. Very large lake and quite a few sites. Late season stay so really didn't get chance to explore everything. Nice staff. Very clean shower house.

Easy to get to, many options for kids, the leaves were not blown off the campsite which was disappointing.

It was peaceful and quiet, for the most part. The KOA Team were amazing. An amazing place to spend a season, or just the weekend.

We had to change our dates several times first to postpone travel (Hurricane Milton) then for a cracked windshield.. I know we were almost penalized for too many changes but thankfully everyone was very polite with our circumstances.

This was our 1st year as seasons so campers. We enjoyed all the weekend activities, getting to know all the campers, and the family like setting. We are excited for next season.

We came in the off season so there wasn't much activity....the park was pretty quiet. The lake was beautiful and the bounce pad was the star for my girls. The employees were okay- not rude but certainly not very friendly. 3 nights was plenty. Overall, the park was clean and our sight was good.

The only complaints we have are the prices for seasonal campers on boat tags, golf kart fees, and the office staff being very rude to our visitors as well as ourselves at times.

Although we were only there for one night. Roads and directions to those sites ( 300's ) were less than adequate for large rigs. We found it easier to exit through the dump station than make that sharp turn out to the exit. We would probably change and go to the Middlebiury KOA next time

I enjoyed the stay. The folks at check in were fantastic ! Kudos to all 3 of them. The site was great, clean and level. All the amenities were there. But......I did have a problem with the Internet service. It was horrible. I tried many times to connect and connection failed every time. I could see the check in location from my sight , yet the connection failed every time. Please repair.

Dirt all along side of our rv. Thank goodness it didn’t rain. Patio site sidewalk ends before our door. Patio furniture was filthy. Fire pit had most of the bottom gone, not useable. Not very well kept.

This was our third time camping but is by far our favorite. The staff was friendly and helpful and the sites were large and clean. We will definitely be coming back and we will be staying longer than a weekend since there is so much to do. The only downside was there wasn’t enough staff in the office and the kids wanted ice cream but they didn’t have enough staff to open the ice cream bar.

Really enjoyed our stay. This was the first KOA we have ever stayed. Very child friendly. Already booked a stay in 2025.

We stayed in a cabin over memorial weekend. Very impressed with all there was to do for the kids (even with crummy weather). Nice facilities!! our cabin was so spacious and VERY clean!! The activities were so fun. Everyone we ran into was so welcoming including all the staff!! We really appreciated feeling at home for the weekend! Definitely plan to be back to enjoy with warmer weather!! If you have kids/teenagers this place is a must!!!

We come here a couple times every year with family. Has a ton of stuff to do for kids, including lake with beach, lazy river and pool, jumping pads and a couple of playground, fishing peers etc. We love it here!

PROS: Looking for a great spot for kids to have a blast during the day? This is THE place. My son is almost nine and he loved the pool with lazy river, the activities (golf cart candy parade and tie dye) and just biking and hanging out with neighbor kids. There are so many wonderful choices for children and I value that! I found the bathrooms to be fairly clean for the amount of people camping on this weekend. CONS: The site we were given (733) was an actual nightmare to park our rig on. Backing in, even for someone skilled, was horrible. There were bricks in the road (to prevent water ponding) and it popped our tire. There was not a way around them backing into the site. We were not given an alternative site and that was infuriating. Do NOT choose site 733 if you want to start your weekend off peacefully. The lady at the front that checked us in even jokingly said “geez I hope you don't get stuck trying to get into that spot” but I had no clue what she meant until we saw the spot. What a shame. The second con is the noise. Many of the sites are seasonal and the guests have golf carts. It makes walking around, especially with littles on bikes, not only unnerving but downright dangerous. With that said, they cruise around, music blasted, until quiet hours which begin at 11pm. With an exhausted kiddo at 9pm, the noise can be a lot. It's too much truthfully. If you're hoping for a little bit of peace, you'll be sad here. If you love a good ruckus and have kids up super late-this is your dream spot. Again, don't choose site 733 though. You've been warned. 🙃
